Scam site pretending to be US-based (Heidelberg, MS?) that is illegally selling calendars using other artists' work without their permission and without compensation. Notably, they are illegally selling the 2026 Cats Chillin with Books calendar by artist Kathleen at KittyStampedeCo on Etsy.

What a scam! Do not order from this company. I did not get the books. I ordered from blind date with a book! I got little junk stickers, some folded brown paper and samples of books 2 samples of the same book. These samples are things that are given out free in any library or bookstore. They are not meant to be sold. This is the biggest scam around be extra careful who you’re ordering from and read the reviews.

Do NOT order from this place. Like the others I ordered 3 books. I received a set of earrings and have requested a refund but so far haven’t gotten anything. This is a fraudulent company.

I am soooo unhappy! It took forever for my shipment. When I did get it, all I got was a few useless items and no book. There was a pamphlet with a story in it... really????

I wish zero stars was an option. Do not order from this company. Total scam. Ordered blind date with a book (x3) and did not receive any actual books. Items were not anything like what was pictured. Advertisement said it was being shipped from US, actually appears to have been originally shipped from China. Original shipping info provided was false (stated it was coming from Italy).

Big scam- there is no book and the stickers are trash. They wouldn’t refund me and told me to ship it to China and bear all the shipping costs. I have reported their page on Instagram and request you to do so as well.

I'd give no stars but that isn't a option. I ordered 2 blind date with a books. Got what looked like a dollar store pack. It was all photo copies. The stickers the book marks THE BOOK!!! It was like 20 pages printed with no page numbers low quality photo copied covers. They not only charged me 50 bucks they they then changed the total and added more and billed me $57. So pissed. Haven't been able to get my money back. Don't fall for their BS.

What a joke. We got cheap paper crap that doesn’t match the genres we chose and both got the same pamphlet this company is calling a book. Nicholas Sparks isn’t horror! Huge ripoff. I hope we get our money back.

Became suspicious when it was taking weeks to arrive. As others said, I expected wrapped books in the genres I ordered. Only received folded brown paper and a few decorative items that didn't even match the genre I selected. Sent an email, but not really expecting a satisfactory answer. Waste of money! Lesson learned: DON'T order from companies that just pop up on the Internet!

Ordered Blind Date with a Book. Paid $60 for two books. Got a 10-page pamphlet and a Christmas bookmark and some stickers. Awful company.

1. Shipping is from Hong Kong. Expect it to take about 6 weeks
2. Their business model is to send only part of what is in the description but charge full price.
3. Their customer service reps offer only a fractional compensation, increasing a little every time you contact them.
4. The 90-day 100% satisfaction guarantee is a SHAM. You’ll be asked to pay return shipping to Hong Kong.
5. They’ve been in business only since June 2024.
6. Order elsewhere.

Yep we all got scammed! Stupid “pamphlet” and not even in the genre I picked. A Nicholas Spark pamphlet, a highlighter and some string

This company stole someone's video to promote their fake product. What was advertised was a thriller book wrapped in gift wrap with all sorts of cute motifs embedded in the wrapping, from stickers to book marks to little trinkets. What arrived (7 weeks later) was a piece of brown paper and one sheet of stickers still on the sheet. No book anywhere in sight! Company REFUSED to give refund or correct their mistake and told me I would have to pay for the return of the item.

It took 7 weeks of constant emails and then they didn't even send the book, they sent a sticker, thread and cheap pen. Don't waste your money.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. I orginally bought 4 blind date with a book mystery books from this company. Everything came BUT THE ACTUAL BOOK....LIKE WHAT???? I had been waiting for 5 weeks and after the 3 week mark I contacted them about not receiving anything. I give support the tracking number and the order number. They then give me a DIFFERENT TRACKING NUMBER and claimed it was "their system" giving the wrong number. First tracking number said it was coming from Germany then the second said it was coming from China. I get it today and it was the saddest damn package I've ever seen in my life. I'm so disappointed!!!!

If I could give them negative stars I would! I purchased 3 mystery Blind Date with a Book on November 30. I finally got my delivery January 3. It came as 3 folded paper bags, $1 worth of Christmas stickers and a highlighter. NO BOOKS!! I also had no idea this was shipping from China!! I contacted customer service and was told oh well and they offered me $5! I paid $50USD! I’ve been trying to get either my money back or what I actually ordered! Nope! SCAMMERS!!! Do Not Purchase anything from this site!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Same exact experience as others have already stated. Ordered Blind Date with a Book, expecting a full book (as advertised) and only received two typed up chapters of a book by Nicholas Sparks for three different genres...horror, romance and auto biography. And it was shipped from UK, taking almost two months to get here. What a scam! They have since changed their description on the website to Bookish Surprise Date with a Book and that it is an English book randomly configured for select chapters, but that doesn't help any of us who ordered mobths ago from their false advertising.

Wish I could give negative stars. Ordered beginning of Dec and just got pathetic joke of a book today. Plus fact I also ordered 2 more for my kids. I got what looks like a pamphlet and hardly anything else. I'm so beyond disgusted and now my kids are disappointed to see the absolute crap that they will get whenever it decides to show up. Wasted money and as a single parent they should be so ashamed

Absolute junk. Took 2 months to get what I could have purchased at Dollar tree for 5 bucks. What a scam! Do not order!
