Private Motorhome Rental is based in Atlanta GA and partners with Goss RV Luxury Rental, they say they are peer to peer rental but promote the luxury rentals. Out of the time I was listed on their site I received one rental from somebody, the person contacted me personally and we worked out the details of the rental to include rates and extra usage. Once we agreed on a total rate they then contacted PMR and signed a rental contract, and payment was made. PMR charged the renters almost $1400 for "white glove service" which also meant they only charged me 30% commission because I supplied insurance and roadside assistance and that meant they were out ZERO money. If you do not provide your own insurance you are charged 40% commission and PMR utilizes Wheelbase for their insurance which means they are charged 10% from each rental.
When the renter cancelled they contacted me directly and then PMR, that was in March. I was told by PMR that they didn't want to deal with the refund and to call back later, which I did, and again got the "I don't want to deal with them". It took 4 months before PMR contacted me, but only after they charged the renter a security deposit after they had cancelled.
There are other stories, one being a renter cancelled and had to get ahold of the RV owner to let them know they cancelled months earlier and was wondering where their money is. PMR likes to take renter's money and not refund it back.
There are no check out lists, and paperwork is a nightmare.
And definitely don't buy a class A from them, they just took 19 luxury class A to burning man.
Don't list with them, and Don't rent from them.
