Great honest advise, lots of electric bikes to view and managed to take mine away the same day!

Really happy with my experience of primera, the staff and all very knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing is ever to much to ask and they always go the extra mile !

I bought a Specialized Vado SL e-bike from Primera in May last year and I cannot fault the level of customer service I received. It was my first venture into the e-bike range as I really hate hills when I’m cycling. The guys at their Charminster branch were very patient and explained all the options to me allowing me the chance to try several bikes they had to see which fitted me best. I love my Specialized and can’t remember a time when I have enjoyed cycling quite as much. Thank you Joe, Mark, Jacob, James and Darren at Charminster for my bike, and Vince, Clive, John and Paul at Poole for my recent maintenance check and for continuing to look after me so well!! I am now recommending you to everyone I know!!

Fantastic after service from primera Bournemouth, the staff have been great from start to finish. They even collected my bicycle for the first service today and returned this evening just in time for a ride of the guys!

BUYER BEWARE! Appalling after-sales by the General Manager of the Bournemouth branch at 244 Charminster Road. In the 6 weeks since I purchased my new electric bike it has been back to the shop twice without the problem being rectified. The bike now makes a worse grinding noise than ever. The store's General Manager refuses to take my calls and when I call the store his staff simply put the phone down on me as they now recognise my voice. My advice is go there to get great advice but buy elsewhere.

I had trouble with my Cube Explorer electric bike which I purchased from them just over one year ago.
The bike developed a rear wheel puncture, it was totally flat. I tried to pump it up but to no avail. The air was just coming strait out.
I phone them to ask if they could collect my bike, because it wouldn’t fit in my car. They picked it up early the next morning. The fault was that the inner tube had split down the seam, they had only just replaced it about 6 week’s earlier.
They replaced the tube refitted it back and phoned me about 12 noon to say my bike was fixed and that the collection and repair were totally free.
Now that’s what i call amazing service with a smile. Thank you so much J Howard

Have in the past used this cycle shop and have found them very good. I have recently visited the shop in Bournemouth a number of times to enquire about an e gravel bike. I was promised a call on several occasions in relation to stock. I chased them calling at least four times each time I was told the bike I was interested in was arriving soon. I have never heard back, and got bored chasing them. Clearly they don’t need the business, I have now gone else where. Utterly useless in relation to any communication.

Bought an electric road bike - great shop for buying bike and accessories. Bike supplied with loose spokes resulting in a buckled rear wheel at first service. I was told that Supplier agreed to replace wheel.

Several weeks later, and no information. It was always someone else dealing with it when I phoned. Emails went unanswered even by the General Manager! In the end, I had to go to my local dealer to obtain supplier’s contact details to be able to get confirmation that the wheel had been sent out 2 weeks ago!

I can’t understand how such an apparently good shop could be so poor for follow up service. I even sought legal advice during the interim due to the total lack of info.

If you’re local, you can pop in and seek information but if you can’t, I’d advise buying from your local dealer. It was a 60m round trip for me and a very unpleasant experience.

What an absolute breath of fresh air - just moved to Dorset from Kent and wanted to buy a Trail bike for Moors Valley - Halfords were a waste of time but this morning we visited Primera Sports. Will was amazing he was extremely knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble - within an hour we were two beautiful bikes better off and fully kitted out with padlock, helmet and squidgy saddles! - to be delivered to our home later this afternoon. Thanks so much Will - will definately recommend Primera

Just picked up my Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 625 Desert/Orange.Wow this e bike doesn’t disappoint.This bike is a quality product and I have had great service from the Primera staff as usual.I think it’s important to have your new bike professionally built at point of delivery.

I was in the market for a Cube E-Bike and they actually had the one I was after in stock! They price matched a company I found online and managed to have the bike ready for me to collect the following day, they even fully charger it for me just in case I wanted to go straight out on it. Another nice little touch that I haven't had elsewhere and what you don't get when you buy online is that when I arrived they asked my weight and then setup both front and rear suspension for me so that I can get the best out of my bike.

Very easy to deal with and they also have amazing 0% finance deals which I made the most of. That took less that 10 minutes to setup and get approved which just made the entire transaction a breeze. I'll be back in a few months for my free service check-up which is all part of the package you get with Primera Sports.

I had visited Primera in Bournemouth several times whilst trying to decide which bike I wanted to get. All staff were very knowledgeable and very helpful at every interaction.

In the end Darren helped me choose my perfect bike and the service I received on collection and bike fitting was second to none.

Was also a nice touch that the manager showed an interest in my purchase etc.

If your looking for a new bike get yourself down to Primera, you won’t be disappointed!

After a long period of not going on a bike, probably at least 30 years, I'd decided to get back on a bike. I found these guys online and I couldn't recommend their help and advice any more highly. They were happy to discuss the pros and cons of what I thought I wanted, and steered me in the right direction of the bike that was perfect for me.
I'm so happy with my new bike and so very, very happy with the friendly service I received.

I bought my first gravel bike from the Primera - Bournemouth store, a week today. It was a very positive experience.
They have a great stock of bikes for sale. No waiting ages for a bike ordered online-which is currently the case due recent surge in interest in outdoor activities. No doubts about choosing the right size- you can sit on them!😊
I dealt with Darren from the store. He is very knowledgable and is an enthusiastic gravel bike rider. The ideal combination when you know little about these sort of bikes!
He was very patient with my questions as I was not sure about sizing, having come from a road bike. I was fitted to the correct size of the bike that I wanted, after measurements and a modification to the stem length.They really don’t want you to leave with a bike that is not the right size for you.
They then set up and let me test-ride 2 identical bikes with different gearing and handlebars, as I wanted to try all the kit options for that bike.
I then came in the next day for a final check of the fit and final check over of the bike in the shop, before taking it away.
Honestly, this is a real gem of a bike shop. The vibe is so friendly and they can’t do enough to help you.
I was so impressed with the service and professionalism of the staff, particularly Darren, that I came in the following day and bought a Mountain bike for my other half from them.
I would not hesitate to recommend Primera to
anyone. 👍

I think it is about time that I gave the team in in Primera, Poole, some feedback.

We are about to buy what I believe will be our 10th Bike since our first purchasing bikes in 2014/15, and have always had our bikes repaired and serviced there. Our son and grand-daughter have also had their bikes from Primera.

We want to thank and express our appreciation to Vince, Clive and the team for the excellent service and advice that has no doubt affected, positively, our decisions about what bikes to buy. This has resulted in what were perfect choices, and hours of enjoyment. The last being the purchase of 2 amazing Orro Terra C’s that were not even on our radar (thanks to Vince). Hopefully this won’t be the last bike we buy (don’t tell the wife🤫)

Thanks particularly to Vince who always welcomes us with enthusiasm and a smile, he always takes the time to help us with our purchases and provides invaluable advice, not just pushing for a sale. I went to primera on the 23/12/20 and my service was absolutely amazing, I was greeted at the door and asked if I needed any help , the item I came in for wasn’t in the shop so they had it sent over from their Poole shop that day for free and even called to tell me it arrived , top quality service and the staff are brilliant , I would reccomend this shop to anyone whether your a beginner or an expert 10/10 top shop

This was my first time visiting Primera for the purchase of a new bike.

I had an idea in mind of the specification that I wanted for a new bike, and as most people do I had shopped around and made many enquiries.

I settled on Primera and have to say the whole experience was fantastic, there were a few delays on parts, however this was not the bike shops fault - cycling has become so popular during this pandemic that certain parts had a very slight delay.
However I was kept updated very regularly and the parts arrived in no time.

I have subsequently purchased another bike from Primera and yet again received great service.

Great work- keep it up!
