Great company to deal with. I had made a mistake got in touch with them and my email was quickly answered. The problem was quickly solved.The customer service is excellent and will definitely use the company again . Thoroughly recommend.

We bought some fruit trees. They seem to be of great quality, but what we were most impressed with was the customer service - from start to finish, super helpful! Have useful advice about what to go for when buying, explaining the different options. We called after delivery for advice about what to do about planting as the ground was so frozen, staff gave brilliant tips about how to look after the trees until we were able to plant. Thank you - we will definitely be buying from Pomona again.

Order No PF2949946. I have ordered two trees one of which was a Multi-Stem Prunus Serrula. I have received a Single Stem. The order and the confirmation sheet both refer to Multi-Stem. The label on the tree shows Single-Stem. I have written to Pomona Fruits and received a response saying it can take up to 7 days to reply. It’s disappointing as I don’t want to return the tree if this is all that is available. I would have preferred to have been given the option to accept a replacement or cancel my order. Cancelling would have been the best option. If a Multi-Stem can be sent still that would be my preference.

I have now had several email exchanges with Claire at Pomona Fruits. She has acknowledged the error and agreed to send the correct Multi-Stem tree in early March. I have therefore increased my rating to 4. Thank you.

I am very happy with this purchase. I bought an apple tree on the 14th January 2021 and next day I call and added a nectarines tree ( as I had enough of other company making me full for over 3 months).
Everyone was very friendly and responded very fast to my emails. Very happy with customer service, I’m pleased.
On the 8th of february I received an email that my trees will be delivered next day and it was.
Trees looks very healthy, the nectarines look huge. Because weather wasn’t friendly to plant them straight away I contacted company and ask for any advice and in few hours I had nice and ease explanation how to care and what to do.

I have a very similar experience to the last reviewer. I ordered 6 cordon fruit trees (spending £195.90) and excitedly awaited their arrival (as they were a Christmas present). They all came in a box with a small cross sectional area: four of them had branches broken and the other two had no branches to break (they are like large twigs). When I unwrapped the roots, I found that one had virtually no roots and two more had very little root. Two of the trees are also short (75cm and 85cm) - the website says that they are approximately 1.2m on dispatch. Like the last reviewer, I don't think we'll be seeing any fruit for awhile.
I immediately rang the company when I saw that there was a problem. I was told that it is late in the season for buying fruit trees, so that was probably why some of my trees were so small (i.e. the larger good stock had gone)... and that my trees could well catch up! Looking at the roots, it could be a struggle. I ordered my trees on 2nd January and these cordons are still being listed as available. I was asked to send photographs via email, which I've done. That was 24 hours ago - no personal reply yet, but I did receive a automated reply: 'we are currently inundated with email enquiries... it is taking us up to 7 days to respond to emails'. That doesn't bode well. I'm supposed to plant the trees as soon as possible... what do I do?!
Very disappointed.

UPDATE: I had a phone call from Pomona Fruits offering to send two replacement trees. I understand that I will have them in about two weeks time. I also had a more helpful conversation on the phone this time. As a result, I've improved my star rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

I ordered 7 fruit trees and excitedly awaited their arrival. 6 came in a box measuring 18cm x 21cm x 147cm. When The box arrived I thought 1 tree would be in it. 4 have no branches at all and of these 3 are just like twigs. The 7th tree arrived a week later, also very spindly. I paid at total of £183.70. I don't think we'll be seeing any fruit for many years. I have planted them anyway. Very disappointed.

Following earlier review....a year later and Pomona have replaced the family pear tree which unfortunately failed to grow last year. They were unable to replace like for like but did offer 2 individual compatible pear trees and communicated very well to ensure I was happy with this arrangement. They will go in the ground today. Thank you!

This is my first order with Pomona, so far communication, ordering, delivery has been excellent. As an beginner gardener I have needed advice which they were very helpful

Raspberry plant arrived in good condition and quickly despite it being Christmas, they were very helpful and promptly replied to my questions about care of the plant - thank you Pomona

We have been after a step over apple tree and we decided to order from Pomona fruits best days work we ever done the tree they sent was really good, healthy good branches and plenty of future buds worth every penny. We highly recommend this company

Great Company, first time we have used them, but it certainly won't be the last. Theresa went the extra mile in explaining exactly the best way to deal with our cordon fruit trees, which size pots to use, what growing medium needed and what size pot they would eventually need and what to prune off the eventual root ball. The personal touch from a firm makes all the difference. Thoroughly recommend Pomona Fruits.

Recently ordered (November) a standard fig and a lingonberry. The parcel arrived in the time frame stated and the plants were so well packaged and carefully delivered. The standard fig is a sturdy plant approx. 3-4ft high with lots of healthy buds, well worth the money. The lingonberry is a very healthy plant with lovely young foliage and again well packaged. I have never had a duff plant from Pomona. All have thrived unlike other companies with whom I have dealt.

Excellent service. Despite one of the fruit trees which I had ordered not surviving, due to no fault of Pomona, a replacement was offered without quibble and it was delivered as soon as new bare root stock was lifted. I will definitely be using them again

Placed an order for a variety of fruit trees on 3rd of October.
As of today, no sign of the trees and the Company says it will not respond to order status enquiries due to staffing issues. Says outstanding orders should be fulfilled by the end of April!

Trees arrived in timescale indicated in excellent condition. Had phoned prior to ordering for additional information and as as part of the order was for a friend also emailed to request an additional growing instructions booklet. Very helpful and efficient service. Would recommend
