An agent called Sean called me three times before I picked up try to persuade me to go to Zante for the summer and pressured me into making a deposit on the spot before reading into it or looking into it to see if that was what I wanted. I asked to have a few hours to think about it and then he dismissed me, and ended the phone call . Very unprofessional. I didn’t enjoy the experience at all. I wouldn’t go with this company.

Playaway Abroad kept everything stress free from the moment I booked. The accommodation was great and the reps were there to help with advice and getting work. Within the first week I got a job as waitress for Ikon nightclub and met some amazing friends. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Went out to Zante this summer with a few of the uni lads and such a class time! PlayaWay sorted us out with great accommodation and arranged so me and the boys could all share together. We met loads of new mates out there and the Zante nightlife was unreal. If you are wanting to do a season abroad, PlayaWay is the way to go!

This is my second season which playaway abroad and I can only say good things about this company.

I was nervous travelling and doing a season alone, but I can honestly say it was the best decision i’ve made. The reps settled me in straight alway and helped me make friends with everyone straight away. It felt like a big family! The accommodation was clean, had a pool and bar, so it was very social which was great to meet other people. The nights out we’ve had together were unreal! Highly recommend PlayaWay for anyone doing a season!

This was my 2nd season in Zante with PlayaWay, and I can honestly say it was better than the first! I think I got more out of my 2nd season because I knew my way round already, but through PlayaWay I’ve met so many incredible people. Last year I mainly partied, but this year I took work more seriously and I have managed to save some good money! Can’t wait for season 3 already!

I went with PlayaWay this summer to Zante and had the best time ever. The reps organised so that me and the girls could all work together. The events they organised were such good fun too! If you are wanting to have fun this summer, go with PlayaWay ❤️🫶🏻

Unreal experience! If you’re unsure about doing a season abroad then definitely go through PlayaWay! The reps helped us all settle in and make friends really quickly. We loved it that much and all become such good friends, we have all came back out for a holiday at the end of the season to see each other again! Can’t wait for next year!

Did my first season this summer in Zante with PlayaWay, and can honestly say it was the best decision I’ve ever made! As it was my first time, I was abit apprehensive travelling solo as a girl, but as soon as I landed I was put at ease by Abby the rep. She made me feel comfortable and got me chatting to the other girls straight away. I ended up working as a PR at one of the bars with a girl I made friends with at the accommodation and we’ve both had such a great summer! Thank you PlayaWay for an unforgettable experience!

I went out with PlayaWay this summer, honestly cannot recommend doing a season abroad with these guys enough! The accommodation had WiFi, air con, swimming pool and cooking facilities so couldn’t have asked for any better. Our rep Abby was amazing - she helped organise our party week for when we first got there and then got me a job working for one of the events companies! I’ve made friends for life and I can’t wait to come back next summer to do it all again!!

Didn’t get me a job - I had to look for myself and didn’t end up getting anything

As events weren’t organised in a timely fashion - cannot attend 2 events I paid £150 for.

Brought these notes to the rep, who reacted aggressively and told me if I wanted Ritz Carlton luxury I should pay for it. If I wanted to be in Dubai I should go there and enjoy that luxury. Said he would drive me around the island showing me worse places and I was lucky this location is so nice. Was told he would get us draino for shower which was never followed through with. No suggestions for next steps on any of the above points.

Zante is the place to be! Me and my friends came over this summer and we all had an unbelievable experience! Playaway made it so smooth, they organised our accommodation so we could all share together. The accommodation was clean, great location and has everything you need! Big shout out to Abby our rep who was always full of energy and ready to party! She helped sort us all out with jobs and now we’ve extending our stay for an extra month! Thank you PlayaWay for the summer of a lifetime!

I came out with PlayaWay for beginning of June for 2025. The accommodation was really nice and clean, it was much more than i was expecting! Everyone hangs around the hotel pool and we’ve all become one big family. I couldn’t have asked for better reps than Sean, Abby and Stefan who were so helpful throughout my entire experience! I’m so glad that I came out and would recommend PlayaWay to anyone!

First time I’ve ever travelled solo or doing anything like this so I was very nervous to begin with. I chose to come out with PlayaWay and can genuinely say I’ve never had better time! The reps Abby and Stefan made me feel welcome and comfortable straight away! We spent our first week doing boat parties, water sports days, pool parties, bar crawls and I’ve never had so much fun! Me and my 2 mates from uni went to Zante this summer. We all had an unreal time with PlayaWay! The rooms were great and the reps Stefan and Sean were really helpful getting us all sorted with work. Great part of coming through PlayaWay was that we met loads of new people doing the same experience. I’d highly recommend PlayaWay to anyone looking at working abroad!

i was with playaway abroad in the august season and it was amazing although we had a lot of difficulties with the room situations abby made sure we were well looked after throughout the whole holiday she was amazing and couldn’t have asked for a better rep :)

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!

You get told on the phone that in Tenerife you pay £850, £600 ‘rent’ and £250 for the reps to help you out for a month. When I arrived there I had to pay an extra 50€ rep fee!

I got moved room for absolutely no reason on my second day at Ponderosa. My first room had previously been broken into by someone, before I even arrived. The door didn’t lock, I wasn’t given a key and I didn’t feel safe. When I arrived back after the pub crawl, I got in before my flatmate and someone had come into my room, thrown up in the toilet and left the telly on. The cleaner was disgusted the next day when I showed her what had happened to the bathroom.

The next day I get moved room, to what was the worst room I’ve ever stayed in, in my whole life. And I’ve travelled a lot. I don’t even know where to start. We had a broken shower for 5 days, an ant infestation, the safe didn’t lock, and a broken balcony door. I wasn’t given a bed on my first night, so I had to sleep on my towel on the floor for that night! I was eventually given a broken kids bed, which I had to fix myself and I could just about sleep on it. I also wasn’t given a key for 5 days, so my flatmates had to open the door every time I got in, but one time they weren’t in when I got back to the room. So, I asked the hotel staff for a key. But because they didn’t have one, they told me I have to climb into my balcony and get into my room that way, as the balcony door was of course… broken. I was able to do this, but I shouldn’t have had to do so.

There was also a foul smell in that room throughout my stay at Ponderosa. Only to realise there was a dead lizard left behind the fridge. I’m convinced that room has never been cleaned before! It was filthy and I will never be going back there, or ever booking with PlayaWay again!

We were also promised group activities! All we got was a pub crawl on day one and then absolutely nothing after!!

I want some money back for this trip, as there have been too many incidents and I have photo evidence to prove it. I’m still pushing PlayaWay for a refund and they’ve still not replied after 2 weeks. It’s an absolute disgrace!
