This lot phone up to 3 times per day claiming they represent Vodafone (a lie) and threatened us if we do not renew with them the latest agent Luka very rude and we have blocked their number now and have advised Luka that we will lodge a harassment charge with police to which he replied “we will keep phoning till you renew with us”

Having rung me claiming to be Carphone…

Having rung me claiming to be Carphone Warehouse, advising that my contract had run out and would I like to renew, started ok. As they advised that they were Carphone Warehouse, I expected that they would have visibility of my previous contract and payments.
I advised that I was paying £20 for my Vodafone contract and said that I would not want for my payment to increase, however felt that the data that I was receiving was far less than other providers were paying for the same service. The agent said that he could up my data to 60GB at no extra cost, so I did.
Where this went wrong was that £7 of the £20 that I paid was for additional Sim for my Apple Watch. Now to me, the agent would have visibility as to what I was paying to Carphone Warehouse and advised at the time, but oh no, I now pay an additional £7 for my mobile tariff. Neither Phonespot no Carphone Warehouse want anything to do with this, with Carphone Warehouse just wanting to re-direct the issue back to their 3rd Party.
Disgusting Customer Service and would not do any further business through any of the CW business'.

Avoid!

Wow! To say I’m shocked to hear the exact same bad service that I have received also. I was offered an upgrade thinking it was with Carphone warehouse not phonespot.com. I sent the phone back Within the 14day period and was given another upgrade phone, that I’m happy with; however this time they set me up with a totally new contract instead. So only found out 4 months after paying for 2x contracts. I then received the original phone I had sent back, through the post, with no explanation? So it’s 6months later still their mistake, yet I’m having to phone and call them for a refund and not even a single written email apology on their behalf! I will never, or wish anyone to have dealings with this company, Bunch of crooks! Very unhelpful

Avoid like the plague, help desk not helpful.

Same as many other reviewers on here, upgrade offered by Carphone warehuse after my usual 2 year contract came up. Phone duly arrived and was faulty from day one, sim periodically came up "not inserted" - At this time I found out my contract was now with Phonespot and was given a 2 week runaround to get me past the 14 day cooling off period. Carphone warehouse inhouse refused to help but did tell me they passed all phones they couldn't sell to them. Thanks carphone warehouse, I will repay your loyalty NOT!!

phonecspot miss sold phone and shocking after care service

I was called by the phonecspot who told me they where from carphone warehouse I was due an upgrade and we agreed on a tariff it took 2 weeks for the phone to arrive and about 3cweeks later the phone developed a speaker fault, I took it to my local carphone warehouse who after a lot of arguments agreed that they could take the phone and I would get a replacement in a few days.
It has now been 10 days without a phone and the customer service from both companies has bee terrible, I have just spent an hour on with customer service who now tell me they cant send a new phone untill they receive my old one which the shop took off me on the understanding I would be sent a new one right away, also spoke to the customer service last week who apologised and told me me phone had been dispatched and offered me 50 quid compensation they now deny this call was made
What a crap company stay clear and go to your local phone shop

Cold called

Cold called, number unknown was what came up on the screen, the male with a no thankyou accent seemed to know my name which I did not admit too, said he was calling from the “phone Spot” which was part of the car phone ware house and my contract was coming up for renewal, but I did no have a contract through the car phone ware house anyway..all seems very dodgy to me, not many good reviews either.

My daughter was contacted by these…

My daughter was contacted by these people as the contract is comimg up for renewal and persuaded in to buying a contract with them and told by the sales woman she was from car phone warehouse.
The phone and contract is owned by me her mother as she is not old enough to have a contract, I have phoned the company and explained this but they will not cancel the order unless they speak to my daughter. Please check when doing the hard sell that the person you are speaking to owns the phone and contract on it and they are old enough to make that decision.
If like us you are finding it difficult to cancel the order dispite being within the 14 day cooling off period and given lots of silly excusses by phone spot customer service, just send them a letter cancelling the order my registered mail. You will how ever need to ring them to get the address as it is not on there web site very dubias.

Phone Upgrade

Sorted an upgrade with them, said they would dispatch the next day and I would get a confirmation email, never got one and phone wasn’t sent, tried emailing and got no response, when I called to cancel got passed from one department to another on a premium call line and they kept me on hold for most of it!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

The phone spot beware

The phone spot 1 star review is better than they deserve, absolute cowboys, the name cpw was mentioned alot, was told as I had paid for my phone they could reduce my bill and I could cancel at anytime, then got an email saying I had signed up to a sim only monthly contract, but I hadn't decided what I wanted to do yet and I explained that to them, I phoned cpw and they couldn't see anything on their system, I phoned the phone spot to try and clarify what they had done, and who they actually were as I had only ever dealt with cpw, some snotty little kid who sounded about 12 got very aggressive towards me then hung up, I phoned 02 and they couldn't see anything either, God only knows what I've ended up with, IF YOU EVER GET A CALL FROM THE PHONE SPOT, BEWARE, AGREE TO NOTHING !!!!! because it probably wont be what you thought it was, I thought regulator's had clamped don't on this type of shonky telesales practice, but obviously not 😡

Absolutely appalling service

Absolutely appalling service. 🤬🤬🤬 they didn’t process my order according to the first email I received, then I got an email saying I had an order and it was processing, then I called to cancel and got an email saying it was “cancelled” then I get a DPD message saying my parcel will be delivered?! Phoned them again and I was told that the lady’s “computer was freezing and she couldn’t see if my order had in fact been cancelled”.
I was also told that I would just have to send the parcel back to avoid being charged. Absolutely useless - don’t bother picking up your phone and wasting your time and money.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. Sent from one department to another.
Finally sent back to customer service itself to be told my order had never even be processed (I wanted to cancel).
I asked for email confirmation and was refused, so now I am left unsure whether my upgrade will go ahead in two days time even though I have asked for it to be cancelled.
The woman was rude and spoke over me as I tried to make her understand I simply wanted written confirmation that the order had been cancelled. It is a legal contract of course I would want confirmation!!

Totally unacceptable service

Totally unacceptable service. Had a call advising me I was due to upgrade, which I did, but two weeks later I still hadn’t received my new phone. When I called The Phonespot they said the upgrade had been cancelled on the same day it was placed, with no reason given. Fine - I had by then realised it would be foolhardy to upgrade via anyone other than my provider. A week later I received an email telling me my tarrif had been upgraded and my new phone was on the way. When i called the phonespot to ask what was going on they told me they had no record of my number or address, and the woman I spoke to was incredibly unhelpful. I had to get my provider to cancel the upgraded tarrif, and they said the only thing I could do was refuse the phone delivery. Don’t use this company - they are cowboys.

Worse company ever!!!!!!!!!

Worse company ever!!!!!!!!!! Had a phone call in 2017 to upgrade and I decided to upgrade. 30 MIN after the call I called back and asked to cancel the upgrade as I realised the phone suggested didnt have enough memory. I had a text message confirming cancellation. I received the phone in the post and posted it back. I phoned up and asked why the phone was sent out and I was advised that I never cancelled the contract even though I had a text message from them confirming cancellation. It took them over a month to investigate internally what happened after they blamed me and said I didnt cancel the contract. Thy found that someone internally made a mistake. They couldnt cancel the contract due to it being after the cool off period and asked me to pay the contract cancellation fee with O2 to get out of the contract and promised to reimburse me. I did that and I was asked to send proof that I have paid the monies, which I did with registered post. I since had to e-mail the proof to two different people in the customer service team and I am now still fighting to get the money back. I had to once again mail the proof to another person today!!!!!!!!!!!!

malafide firma, 2dehands ipv nieuw, verborgen kosten (meer dan 20%?)

je denkt een nieuwe telefoon te kopen maar de kans is zeer groot dat het een opgefriste 2dehandse is (zonder garantie).
De telefoon wordt opgestuurd vanuit bv Singapore. Als deze bij de douane niet tegengehouden wordt (vermoeden van namaak) of als je geen invoerkosten moet betalen (meer dan 20%?) ben je bij de gelukkigen.
annuleren is volgens hun onmogelijk (zit op de post of is reeds in behandeling,...).
Je ziet je geld pas na lang aandringen gedeeltelijk terug (of niet?). Ze hebben lak aan de wet, ze respecteren wettelijke termijnen en wettelijke terugbetalingen niet.
De koper verliest steeds, phonespot wint altijd.

DIT ZIJN OPLICHTERS

Zeker hier niet kopen. Ik heb hier een jaar geleden mijn iPhone 5S gekocht. Na 10 maanden werden door Apple mijn FaceTime, iMessage en iCloud functies op de telefoon geblokkeerd. Gebeld met Apple helpdesk en na vele uren bleek dat het om een gestolen of geretourneerde IMEI/ chip ging. Doordat de oorspronkelijke eigenaar deze had opgegeven had Apple hem nu geblokkeerd. De helpdesk heeft zeer welwillend van alles geprobeerd, maar tot nu toe is het nog niet gelukt. Er is nog een kleine kans dat de telefoon compleet wissen en resetten gaat helpen, maar als ik dan de back-up eroverheen zet zal dat waarschijnlijk weer ongedaan worden gemaakt. Verder is het zeer waarschijnlijk dat de gehele rest van de telefoon fake is.

uiterst tevreden

ik wil allen meededelen dat mijn ervaring bij phonespot biezonder goed is erg veilig komen na wat ze beloven nasturen van atributen of verkeerde atributen verloopt erg snel en zonder zeuren ik heb vaker online gekocht bij andere ondernemers maar kunnen niet tippen aan Phone spot groetjes een tevrede klant

Dit is hoe ze het doen!!!!

Ik heb me telefoon hier ook gekocht dit is wat er gebeurt.

Ze bieden relatief goedkoop telefoons aan. waar in hele kleine lettertjes op de site staat dat de telefoon refurbished is. ( opnieuw samengesteld)

Dan heb je besteld en zie je dat de levertijd belachelijk lang is. Daarna wacht je weken en krijg je niks en mag je hopen dat je iets krijgt.

Ik kreeg na +/- 9weken mijn telefoon ik was helemaal blij MAAR!

De telefoon kwam rechtstreeks uit Singapore met de beschrijving dat de inhoud niet meer waard was als 5 euro (scheelt ze in kosten en belasting) illegaal dus. Als ie onderschept word krijg je dus niks. Ik had 10 euro extra betaald voor verzenden met track en trace maar daar doen ze niet aan. had ik wel voor betaald.

Uiteindelijk is het enige wat origineel Iphone is is het moederbord de rest is er allemaal opnieuw ingezet in china ergens. Is dat erg? vaak prima spul maar het glas gaat sneller kapot ( het zit allemaal iets losser) en een gedeelte van de telefoon is gewoon 2e hands.

Hoe werkt het: het is moeilijk voor ze om een telefoons te komen want ze hebben wel het originele moederbord nodig van Iphone en soms is het aanbod hierin klein. Maar ze nemen wel alle bestelling aan zodat er genoeg geld binnen komt zonder dat ze zeker weten dat ze kunnen leveren.

In die 9 weken is contact zoeken niet mogelijk want ze sturen standaard mails terug en een telefoon nummer vind je nergens. Ik zeg voor die 50 euro niet als die stress beleven maar fijn een originele kopen.
