Excellent service and choice of food and lots of information what sort of foods would suit certain dogs

Found this company looking for pet supplies and I’m glad I did. Excellent prices, services and deliveries. What’s not to like.

Been after a crate to fit the back of the Tucson. Found this one, measurements where spot, was a bit sceptical due the price as all others I'd view where 100+. Took the plunge, ordered, delivery was very quick, with excellent communication. Put together and fitted nicely into the boot. Due to it being a permanent fixture, I secured in place with straps and did use zip ties to secure and stop any rattle. We have 2 English Cocker Spaniels that do not travel well and need that secure feeling. This crate ticks their box as well as we can cover the top and sides to protect them from the window views. They now jump in and out of the crate and are both happy to get in the car!! I absolutely recommend this crate!! 5 stars for quality, price, communication, delivery.

They state 2-3 days delivery but I ordered very early on Friday- we are now Wed and nothing yet so unfortunately I won’t be ordering from Pet Planet again.
Update… still waiting

This company is a total rip off, customer service woman Joanna is extremely rude and has no care. I have asked for a replacement as the item I bought had an ill fitting part but it has been ignored. I have phoned and emailed complaining but a woman called Joanna has no care. No management in the office to deal with anything. I have been left now to involve the ombudsman.

The PetPlanet website clearly states that Standard Delivery is 2-3 (business) days, with a 23:59 cut-off time Monday to Friday.

I ordered dog food at 4.30 pm last Friday (26th July) and as of now I am still waiting - the Yodel website simply says that it will "arriving by Friday 2nd August" - so 5 days later. I've had to do an emergency next day delivery from another retailer in case something goes wrong.

Spoke to PetPlanet this morning and they didn't seem to care very much - on top of which I was told that an order placed at 4.30 pm on a Friday wouldn't start the clock until Monday - in direct contradiction to their website.

Not entirely sure whether the issue lies with PetPlanet or Yodel, but I won't bother using again. Plenty of other pet food retailers out there.

Excellent customer service when I experienced delivery problems via Yodel, they changed the courier with no issues and had my parcel sent out the next day. Excellent pricing and great quality products. I would highly recommend.

Excellent Customer Service.
I placed an order for dog food which was dispatched to Evri. Evri then lost the package claiming there was a "delay". I contacted Pet Planet customer services who contacted Evri directly.
When it was clear that the package was going to be many days delayed, Pet Planet dispatched a second bag express delivery & instructed Evri to return the delayed parcel to them.
Outstanding customer service with really quick & responsive emails.

Great customer service, extremely helpful and love parts can be replaced instead of it all needing to be scrapped.

I love shopping with Pet Planet. It is so easy to search for what I need. Even better it is especially easy to re-order goods I have previously just by clicking on a link. There is such a variety of toys and goodies that I can easily buy all the presents I need for my dog. I regularly buy Feelwell training treats. They are ideal for using with games. They are ideal just for treating our dog when good without worrying about him putting on weight. Of course our dog will get a special treat now and then.

Hello everybody please read all small print on petplanet REPEAT AND SAVE because they have a way of ripping customers off we ordered on repeat and save orijen dog food at £143.47 but have just found out that its amazingly gone up in price (what a surprise) and you have to pay the new price and NOT what you saw on the web site please be very careful of this company con as you will only notice this when you have paid they do not inform you of any changes in price if it goes up £20 you pay the extra not what you thought

So thankful that I discovered Pet Planet. Owning 2 dogs is very expensive when you want to give them the best, nutritious food. I was paying over £6 a carton more for this at other pet food suppliers so I’m saving a lot of money, feeding 2 dogs. Ordering through the website is easy. I am also earning loyalty points with every order I make. Delivery is prompt too. I genuinely wouldn’t shop anywhere else now for my pet food. I order the Country Hunter wet food sachets as recommended by my Vet. A very happy customer. Have saved hundreds of pounds.

I often think that the true test of a company's service is how it responds when something goes wrong - in this case our bag of dog food arrived ripped with a lot of the contents spilt in the packaging. Had a response from Shona within hours and all resolved. Excellent service

AVOID AVOID AVOID the website/ company Pet Planet at all costs. On 30th MAY I made an order for some of my cats urinary food, as my usual shop was out of stock at the time, and 2 of the boxes arrived seriously damaged in the shipping box and had loose pouches (some of which were spoiled, which I chucked straight in the bin - according to them I should've kept rotting food in my house, in summer months, until they could arrange a collection..). The other 2 boxes were in tact, but one of the boxes was a faulty batch and gave him awful diarrhea. He never has issues with this particular brand of food, so I assumed it was a dodgy batch or warehouse issues. I sent them the remaining dodgy batch pouches back, and I've had no correspondence or any refund at all for the 3 boxes of unusable food they sent. For reference, the 4 boxes alone was £58.57. They've sent a measly £1.69 back, over a month later, for missing treats. This company is an absolute disgrace and their "customer service" a joke at best. I wish I had read through the reviews for PetPlanet before wasting my money with them and dealing with this stressful situation.

Please be careful with who you trust when buying anything, especially pet food. A costly lesson for sure.

EDITED TO ADD to the reply: I was offered a £5 partial refund, for an item that was £58+. I would hardly say that's reasonable as I had to put 2 of the boxes straight in the bin. I also contacted yourselves AND PayPal regarding the dodgy batch, and I didn't even get a reply from yourselves. PayPal agreed with me in that I shouldn't have to keep ahold of rotting food in my house, in the summer months, but as I had discarded them, due to their rules I couldn't get a refund. The 3rd dodgy box was a separate issue that I raised in my escalation, but was ignored. It shouldn't have to get to the point of a PayPal claim in the first place, and you should take better care with both your products and customers. I stand by my review and have found this to be my first and final experience of your awful company.

Fantastic service…..
Recently we ordered a large bag of dog food as usual from Pet Planet . Evri the Courier unfortunately didn’t deliver to us despite tracking saying they had . After repeated emails to Evri we approached Pet Planet to ask for help . Shona in customer service was fantastic and immediately sent a replacement to us as a gesture of good will which we felt was above and beyond . Really recommend this company as honest and trustworthy . Thank you Pet Planet.

We purchased this wheel to replace a cat in motion wheel which lasted just 3 months before becoming dangerous and bits falling of it (note cat in motion fromanother retailer) This one fast cat wheel came quickly was easier to put together and is loads better in every way its quieter nicer looking and a much better price and should it be needed the parts are readily available her in the UK unlike the other one which was from a different retailer the manufacture does not post parts to the UK I already ordered some of the snazzy light up wheels for this one No complaints regarding this company

I have purchased these beds for several years and always been very impressed with their service and deliveries. Happy to recommend this business. Robin.
