Easy to use, easy to setup. I had a great experience with their customer support when I messed up my machine.

They have a variety of virtual cloud gaming pc plans (core)staring from $0.45-$1.20 an hour(aprox)+ storage$7-$10 monthly) and optional extras like snaphots,assigning a public ip adress,creating templates etc,i find the p5000 plan suficiant for my needs

I had read some negative reviews on here, along with some not so bad reviews and decided to give it a try.

The main issue with this service is that the billing is not transparent at all. When you register a credit or debit card on the system, they immediately, and without warning, deduct $10 dollars from you. At no point does the system warn you this is happening, it is not stated anywhere on the page and there is no receipt afterwards to suggest the money has been taken. This is a serious issue and one which Paperspace does not acknowledge when challenged via email. In fact, at the point where you are asked to enter these card details, it specifically says it needs the card on file, even with $0 charge to take, suggesting money will not be taken.

Furthermore, after the initial $10 dollar charge was attempted and reverted back by my card provider, Paperspace later tried to take this payment again, without warning or confirmation, simply using the existing card details.

Additional to this, there does not appear to be any transparency on actual usage billing. There is no account balance to be found and no access to view cumulative billing - it seems this is done in a "1st of the month" invoice. This could certainly be improved.

On to the virtual machines, I created a P4000 GPU, which when checking the settings, was as stated. However, the network connection from the virtual machine to the internet was disappointing when compared with competitor offers, with a speed test confirming 100mb download and only 7mb upload speeds. No suitable for streaming games.

On customer service, responses were swift and any requested actions were taken quite quickly. although the issue of the $10 payments being taken as described above was not addressed as an issue, it was simply justified as below:

"Paperspace places a $10 Authorization Hold on your card each time it is added and/or an Hourly VM Subscription is created. This is intended to ensure cards are valid and reasonable funds are available to pay any usage accrued by the account."

In conclusion I would avoid using Paperspace in its current setup....

Slighly too long retention time of the cloud service (physically located in Amsterdam) was reason for my cancellation after trying for one day. Confusing billing-system and blockings on creditcard for every access made me contact their support. There I received very professional support in an instant. It was woth the try as alternative for shadow cloud computing

Machines take forever to provision, and then simply won't start.

When I set up my payment method they directly charge my credit card with 8.27€ even though I didn't asked for anything. This service feels really unsafe to use since I don't know what I'm paying for.

Total trash. Worst service on market for sure

You pay and they shut down yor services for nothing... i lost half month of subscription because now my master card is fraudulent... if you need to work without issues... go elsewere... and no, my prepay mastercard is not fraudunent... edit. it is the second time they sut down my service... terrible experience!

Charge your credit card without notifying you and do not respect their billing dates. Run!

**Be aware Paperspace has no option to cancel your subscription**. There is only an option to deactivate your account, but says nothing about if this cancels your subscription and all further payments. I would avoid this company and look for an alternative. I recently found out they had been charging me for over a year without me noticing. I had to report my card as stolen to my bank in order to ensure they could not charge me any longer.

The Staff are friendly and helpful but ther service and product is just dog ****, my machine crashes about 6 times a day this is after using the service for 4 months aprox, it feels like someone else has an input with a mouse constantly and programs just close themselves, not to mention the random restarts, I was advised to upgrade and now the service is worse, programs I had running will not work and the way they input a remote mouse is almost unstable , it works on half or less of the programs i tried. If you add in random restarts of machines and the almost clock work disconnection (about twice an hour for 6-12 secs) Honestly the whole thing is a F-in joke, choose someone else

Images not updated. Frequent outages (every couple of days, to daily), from minutes to hours. Unresponsive customer support. First time I've reported an outage they've replied half an hour ago that machine is offline so they are closing the issue. Was I supposed to keep it up and get billed until support will find time to START assessing the issue? The second time there was no answer at all. Perhaps they are cheaper but VMs show much lower performance compared with similar AWS instances.

Always provide good quality notebooks and fast after-sale feedback.

Recently, I was looking for a solution that allow me to work from anywhere I want on all the projet I used to work.
I was needing a cloud desktop.

And of course, Paperspae was the solution I needed.
You can pay monthly, but you can pay only for what you use (hourly plans) ! Perfect ! I need to work, boot, I don't, shutdown. No loss of money.
And you know what ? I don't loss my time too because Paperspace offer are strong and not low cost ! No stuttering, lag, or any kind of issue. Smooth is the term!
A lot of option are included, it's adaptive! Your machine is slow? Upgrade! Too much powerfull for what you do ? Downgrade ! More space ? Add disk space ? Need a public IP ? Buy one for 3 bucks and assign it to your VM !
Last but not least, security. They are certified and you won't loss any data in case of any failure, and they are also protected from thief. This is something important these days.

Paperspace is still billing me for a server that doesn't even exist. My account shows absolutely no instances or notebooks running, no IP addresses nothing. Still every month, the bill comes even though all my servers were shut down and not active. I've been threatened that they would destroy my instances for non-payment. Apparently they've destroyed the instances long ago which I wasn't running anyway and I had no problem with them doing so but they are still billing me for servers they claimed to have destroyed long ago. They are impossible to contact and I've given up trying. All this trouble because I tried out their service and didn't like it, I shut down all my servers when it became apparent their service wasn't for me. One month charges, no big deal, move on. Right??? Paperspace WILL NOT YOU GO. Their billing is broken, their customer service is broken. I have little choice but to pursue legal action.

Very reliable and fast-deplayed jupyter notebooks, cheap and easy to use for machine learning, keep it up!

I use Paperspace for gaming mostly.
I was able to create a machine very fast, which came with all the launchers one could need for games.
Despite not having the fastest internet, I'm able to play and enjoy AAA games with minimum lag.
An issue came up, which ended up being completely on my side of things, but the Paperspace staff helped me as best as they could, even during the holiday season.
Couldn't be happier with my experience so far !

A friend introduced me to PaperSpace as a cloud gaming alternative to Google Stadia. After signing up, I requested access to an affordable GPU instance suitable for gaming. I was granted access by the next morning and spun up a machine using their gaming template.

The template included Steam, the Blizzard client, and lots of other great gaming software. Most importantly Parsec!

As a casual gamer, I plan to keep using PaperSpace as it allows access to my Steam games, has no noticeable lag, and is super affordable since I only pay for what I use (apart from a monthly storage fee).

My return on investment (time, money, effort) versus buying and maintaining a gaming build is clearly superior.

I would highly recommend the service to casual gamers with decent internet connections.

Great if you want to play Windows games on a Mac. Instead of having two computers, now you can run Windows within your Mac without having to use bootcamp. When you run a Steam game and stream it to Steam on you Mac, the frame rate still remained excellent and the sound was amazing

I primarily use my server to stream games that only run on Windows, because I only got a laptop which runs Linux.
I got an Windows 10 server with an nvidia P4000 graphics card for about $0.5 per hour the machine is on, plus $5 a month for 50GB of storage. Then I can stream what ever game I want from the server, which is in Amsterdam, to Denmark with about 20-30 ms delay.
I've tried to upgrade my server from 50GB to 100GB of storage, and the process was surprisingly easy and it only took 2 min for the upgrade to set in.
I find their service intuitive and I really like that I can turn on my server through my phone browser before I need to use it.
I've had no problems with my server or their service.
