I booked the one week lessons because I was eager to pass. I'd had a few lessons previously with another company but the instructor made me anxious and wasn't particularly patient. My experience with this company and Jason has been excellent and I passed my test on the first attempt. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone .

I highly recommended doing this course, I passed first time. I found doing lessons close together made driving straightforward and helped build my confidence quicker. My instructor David Parkin was brilliant, so patient and determined to get me to pass, also kindly fitted me in to his schedule with long hours at a short notice. Great experience and definitely would recommend to any one.

I had a few lessons with a separate instructor 18months ago and had not driven since. I then received a job where I needed to be able to drive ASAP. Finding Celia, she helped me build my confidence back up when behind the wheel. I did flexible intensive driving lessons with her and was able to pass first time within 3 weeks! Celia is very patient and very good at explaining what to do in certain situations. Very much enjoyed being one of her pupils!

I have never written a public review of a company before, as prefer to take it up directly with the business, rather than publicly naming and shaming anyone. However in this instance, after a lot of thought (and indeed going back and forth with the business) I simply have to do so. It is quite simply the worst customer service, and indeed biggest waste of time and money I have ever spent and I want to prevent anyone else from making the same mistake.

I booked one week's worth of lessons and a week off work, specifically to take my test before the arrival of my first baby, with weeks to go (having researched and booked it back in April). I shan't name the instructor as feel this is too far by way of public shaming (though perhaps I am being too generous after the shoddy behaviour he demonstrated! I will say he is in North London, in the Southgate area) but alarm bells went from the outset. A couple of days prior to the week, he started by trying to reduce my hours. This all via text. I insisted I wanted the full week as I had been advised by the company and wanted the best chance of passing. From the first day, he did less hours than we'd agreed, and excused it by saying we'd make them up later in the week. When I pushed him on this, he justified it by saying that he "didn't believe in one week intensive courses" and that "you don't need all the hours". I then asked him why he was working for a company called 'one week driving' if he didn't believe in the concept - to which he replied "I don't really know this company I have only just started with them" etc etc. Not the brand ambassador I'd seek for my business, that's for sure.

Anyway, on I pushed as I had mere weeks before my baby and had booked time off work. As each day passed I became more and more nervous that he simply wasn't up to scratch. Each day the hours were reduced by him, he was late more often than not, and generally gave an impression of not being bothered.

The final straw came on my last day - the day of my test. Firstly, he introduced things on this last day for the very first time - literally two hours before my test. I was actually really upset as I had been saying all week that we needed to do more hours. It got worse though, as when we arrived at the test centre, we sat there waiting, before being informed he had brought me to the wrong test centre! So there I am, having done half my hours, sat waiting for my test, at the wrong centre, all because the instructor hadn't bothered to retrieve/check the correct info beforehand. Not only this, by the time he discovered this, it was past the time that my test would have started, so I lost out completely.

I was devastated, because of the fact that I was heavily pregnant, had planned everything around getting my test pre-baby, and had booked a week off work at a really busy time, all for nothing - not to mention the complete waste of money.

I did hope that whilst they clearly had an instructor not worth his salt, that the company itself would care about customer service, and rectify the issue. Not so. I had to email and ring on repeat to even get anyone to bother to come back to me for starters. I finally resorted to calling the line for instructors, and this is the only way I incited anyone to answer. It would appear that they are more important than their paying customers.

I will say that one lady in the office sounded sympathetic when I finally managed to get hold of them, and she actually gave me hope that I would be treated fairly, with compensation. Not so. I was simply palmed off on to another instructor, and not called back - all via email - despite her assurances that someone would pick up the phone and keep me informed. As someone running a business myself in client services, I know this is the least I would do. I specifically said after the disaster of the last one, I wanted to be assured of the next instructor's credentials. I also asked for (and still strongly believe I deserve) compensation. Getting the money back for the lessons I didn't use (because the instructor refused to give me the hours, we only used half of the hours I'd requested) was not good enough, but that's all they'd do.

I eventually decided that I wanted to cut my losses with this operation, as did not need the stress when so pregnant. I am angry that I wasted hundreds of pounds, with no test at the end of it. Palming me on to someone else without compensation is not good enough. I was left with no time to make up the hours, and decided that the stress of trying to redo it all the week before my due date, with anyone affiliated to this company, was simply not worth it.

When you invest money into a week-long driving course, you expect to get the hours paid for and a test at the end of it. I got neither, and the attitude of the business was (as so many people on here have found) they apparently don't seem to give a damn. The impression given was that all they care about is making money, not the level of service they offer. It is a disgrace and I would implore anyone even considering them to spend their money and time elsewhere, with a business that deserves it and that will value you and your time.

Service was quick and the site informative. The instructor James Hynd was very professional and his expertise and experience made for first class instruction. I will highly recommend him in the future.

Had some trouble initially with being allocated an instructor, first one not having suitable hours to fit and the second one canceling 20 minutes before the course was due to start, but OWD did their best to get me an instructor to start as soon as possible to fit around my personal circumstances. Justin was great, very accommodating and patient, would definitely recommend him.

They are very quick at getting the ball rolling and the instrucor was very helpfull and the best instructor i have had. If your your looking for a quick pass i highly recommend them.

I'm a 45 year old woman, who had only had a few lessons over 10 years ago. My instructor, Pete, was so patient and helpful and, after the 40 hours paid for, I passed first time. I can't recommend OneWeekDriving.com enough!!

A lack of communication regarding test dates and a rip off. I was found an instructor (whom I cannot fault) - however I signed up for a 10 hrs intensive course, with the idea I only needed brush up sessions and wanted it done in a 'week' as they advertise. Unfortunately I had to do 10 hours over 4/5 weeks which was the first annoying part. Once I had met with my instructor there were some red flags when he told me some info he had been told by the company and my info did not match. He was then honest with me and said he would have saved me £270 had I gone to him directly. The company's 'admin fees' are at a ridiculously high rate and I would recommend finding an instructor independently. I also had no idea which test dates were being offered to me and each week my instructor would tell me he'd been getting repetitive emails of dates that I had already specified I could not do.

Personally my overall experience with the company was not so great, so as mentioned before, my advice would be: dont waste your time or money with these companies. Ask friends/family and go direct!!

I struggled learning to to drive in uk and I felt nervous but Eseyas made me more confidence and he is friendly as well.

Definitely recommend if your wanting to do a crash course and learn to drive

Safeer is a Great instructor, I done a short intensive driving course after having no lesson's for years. Brought me back up to speed quickly and at the same time was very patient with me. Also finally passed as a result.

Dev from Hereford driving school was absolutely fantastic he was patient and kind and explained everything In a way I could easily understand. Cannot thank him enough for the time he’s taken to make sure I have enough lessons before my test and for helping me pass. Highly recommend
