There has been many times screen out my surgerys but thats definitely not octopus group fault it’s because the survey taker also need what they want and they also don’t want to waste money on unwanted things. After all i’m happy with the service.
Please don’t bother they are scammers. Before they use to be legit now they are absolutely useless.
Don’t Sign anything with them, you are just wasting your time.

Their policy basically says they can cancel your survey or account anytime they like. Obviously just before the $10 minimum to withdraw #scam
Excellent rewards for surveys Unfortunately I don't qualify for all of them but that's okay because when I do I am pleased with the amounts I get paid. Would love to see more companies added to the egift cards and some removed, like priceline that don't allow online use All in all I would highly recommend for a little time you gain a bit of spending money

Companies such as Octopus Group make an enormous amount of money by exploiting respondents time only to "screen you out". But where does the info you've provided actually go?

Just had it installed fast speeds really impressed
I did one survey and not paid because my answers were not appropriate? The money and being suspended for 2 weeks does not concern me. But I am fascinated…How does one answer inappropriately? You tick the answer you want… so inappropriate can only be not supplying the answers wanted by the company. Funny really 😂

Excellent Pay Rate, however the surveys are few and far between. Loved this company and so has my family. Unfortunately we all signed up together and as a result, after a couple of years they banned both mine and my brothers account and are now requesting ID verification?!
Very poor. I don't trust sending my ID to an email address nor uploading it. The main issue is we were often completing the same surveys and it identified us a duplicate account
I made over $1000 with this site and would love to get back to earning, especially as I continuously share octopus group with friends and have made a decent amount from referalls.
Such a shame, used to enjoy their service. I hope this can be fixed another way such as mobile phone number verification or email verification, it isnt right, been very disappointed.

Waste so much time on the screening questions or even surveys just to be screened out. Literally got ten minutes into a survey to be booted off because it didn’t think I was reading the questions?! I’m not a moron, I can read at a normal pace. Waste of time.
Every survey I am timed out. It takes 5 mins to fill the details in to then be told you are timed out. I gave all my details to Octopus when I signed up, I thought the purpose of this was so they could send surveys to me that I would qualify for. Obviously not. Biggest waste of my time. Very disappointed.

All of a sudden I am not able to login and reset my password. Was getting error message saying I have been unsubsribed which I am not aware of. Sent email to support but it got bounced back. So I am no way getting back into my account for no reason and m the time and effort spent accumulated payable credit is not accessible now to withdraw. Is this a scam or something?

If I could give it a 0 star rating I would. EVERY single survey I am given I am timed out because I’m not what they are looking for, biggest waste of time.

Why has the one off payment bee removed. So you have no choice but to set up a direct debit. Then they can take what they want just like bulb did. That one off needs to been an option again. Me personally I'm off elsewhere. Not staying with these.
Seems like people just dont know how surveys and how survey invitations work, I have never had major issues with Octopus, you get the few disqualifications here and there, a few validation issues also, but thats just how the survey planet works.
Octopus is an awesome survey platform if you're just looking to earn a bit of extra cash, personally I've earnt over 200$ passively within the past year.
If you're looking for a high paying survey site with awesome support, I would highly recommend you to use Octopus Group!

Account was unsubscribed for no apparent reason.
After emailing support explaining that I was using another survey platform and perhaps this led to the account being flagged, I was asked for a picture of my driver's license and phone bill.
This sent alarm bells ringing, as it's terrible security practice to require users to email such documents. I complied with certain information redacted. I was then asked to also provide the same information about my wife. I sent through an updated phone bill showing my wife's phone number.
They still insisted on me sending through a picture of my wife's ID.
At this point, it became evident that Octopus are at best hopelessly incompetent when it comes to security and risks around identity theft, or are operating a phishing scam.
Octopus Group would be well served to update their support processes and get with the times.

but payout is high compared to most survey sites i use though
Octopus Group boasts that it's the "the highest paying survey provider" in Australia, which may be true in the sense that it pays more per survey than most. But it also calls itself "the best online survey provider in Australia," and I don't think this is true.
I've been with Octopus Group for twelve weeks and I've earned $16. That's nineteen cents a day. I hardly ever get any survey invitations, and only qualify for half of those. For almost an entire month I got no survey invitations at all.
I contacted them about a month after joining to ask why I wasn't getting any surveys, and they assured me everything looked fine and it was just because a lot of companies were enjoying an extended Christmas break. But it's now April and nothing has changed.
They also advised me to make more money by inviting friends to join, but I'd be pretty embarrassed to invite my friends to a survey company that nets so little income that after nearly three months I haven't even earned enough to make my first withdrawal.
I don't know what's going on here, because I've found other survey sites quite lucrative in the same period. I'm a good candidate - I'm honest, thorough and provide thoughtful answers.
Maybe this is the issue. Someone in a discussion group suggested to me that it's better to lie on your profile and make yourself look more appealing. They tried this, they said, and it worked for them. I couldn't personally do that - it is fraud, albeit on a small scale - but I do wonder if I should have left the profile questions blank. They're obviously screening me out due to secret criteria that are total mystery to me. Maybe I live in the wrong city, or own the wrong kind of car. Maybe I should have a dog and not a cat.
The Octopus Group website says "We're shaking up the Australian survey panel industry, so that everyone gets a better deal." Not everyone, obviously. Not me.
To be honest I was quite excited to sign up with them but then I realised what a waste of time. Surveys that “disqualify you” after entering your details or “ you are not the right target audience”. Might as well just hand over your life details for nothing.
Been with them for years , However over the last few months I have seen them decline with over 50% screen out and 20% you complete and don't get paid. Sadly they are stealing time and info which they never use to do.
