Emma, Jo, Amelia amazing

Emma, Jo, and Amelia are absolutely amazing. They’re always there to help us run our big fleet and respond within minutes whenever we need support. Their quick responses and constant help keep our fleet moving without delays.

Even though we’re based in Leeds, Northside York always go the extra mile for us. A huge thanks to everyone there for their continued support. Special thanks as well to Connor, the mobile technician, who fixes all our vehicles in no time at all rain or shine. Brilliant service all round!

All about profit and not about the customer!

The customer service is absolutely disgraceful!! Took my van in for a recall, fault on the battery which was a ground earth fault that kept turning the vehicle on when no1 was in it, which drained the battery! Which left me stranded 3 times having to get help to charge the battery so I could start the vehicle.

I got no sorry about this, all on my own inconvenience to take it in and lost 2 days. Then after the 2 days, they would not release vehicle without having me pay £300 because they part blamed it on my head torch, saying it was pulling 3 amp, when was plugged in. I'm an electrician and know this is not possible! The head torch was 5 watt so not even pulling a 0.1 of the 3 amp. Blatant rip off so i had to pay or i would not have got my vehicle back!! Would never use these again after buying this vehicle.

Took my sprinter for some service work…

Took my sprinter for some service work doing last week, absolutely first class treatment from start to finish.
Having only used normal garages before this i can never go back to using them.
I will only use Northside in future for any works on my vehicle.

Connor rang to advise a timescale and came within that and quickly sorted out the van and got me back on the road ,you have a real asset in this young man

Holiday saved by York Northside Truck & Van

We were due to head to the ferry in the evening. 2pm an engine management light came on and we were in limp mode.
Mercedes Truck and Van (York) fitted us in and got us up and running. Saved our holiday! Reception and Service are absolutely stars!!!!

Fantastic Customer service from a friendly, knowledgeable Team.

I own a 1999 Mercedes Sprinter
( Camper Van). The clutch fluid line failed, (corrosion). The part I needed is now Obsolete. I called Will Parrish at Northside, he could not be more helpful, together with Matt Drury they took an real interest in trying to solve the problem by looking at alternative Mercedes parts with the same fitment that I could have professionaly adapted to make a replacement . They spent a great deal of time on the phone with me and suggested I bring the part in to the dealership so as to assist even more .
With such great initial phone help I took them up on the offer .
Will, Matt, Together with technicians Simon Clayton, Martin Hamer, John Wainwright and even Simon Lonsdale from sales joined together as a cohesive team to work the problem. Will eventually managed to find an alternative part with the same clutch pedal fitment in stock that would arrive the following day.
A brilliant result and a real team effort using knowledge , expertise and fantastic customer service.
In a time when so many businesses can't be bothered to put a bit of effort in Northside Truck and Van Sheffield are
a real breath of fresh air.
My sincere thanks to Will and the rest of the team for getting me back on the road .

I will not recommend northside to anyone, no customer service, replaced a fuel pump under warranty, made me pay again, said i would get refunded, One year later still waiting. Fed up of phoning to be flogged off. Got a reply email, asking for information which I give them, Still no answer,

I recently purchased a medium wheel base sprinter from the Doncaster branch, could not be more happy with the van and the service. Big shoutout to Callum Murray who went the extra mile and was so helpful. Definitely will be going to him again in the future for all my vans.

Went the extra mile to sort out my…

Went the extra mile to sort out my issue.
Had a warranty issue which another service centre were refusing to acknowledge and correct. The Doncaster centre however not only properly diagnosed the issue, they also fixed it while I waited with minimal fuss and inconvenience to me.
Will definitely be using this centre in the future.

went to York branch to have my van…

went to York branch to have my van Mercedes 314 diagnosed problem with ABS and ESP at the cost of £110 plus VAT to the point they could not pick up the exact fault three possibilities starting with rotational speed sensor cost £127 plus VAT this did not work then wanted it back in for another two days to try fitting a new bearing and reluctant ring already cost me £408 not a chance, I then add a one man band mobile mechanic who diagnosed it unsolved the problem at a cost of £260 including parts and labour job sorted, this is not the first time I’ve had problems with this company back in 2017. They completely cocked up on fitting a reversing camera and screen was supposed to be fitted in a day. It took them almost a week to fit it and then tried to charge me almost double of the original estimate absolutely useless. Will never use this company again.

Very disappointing.....................

Our van was booked in for an annual service on the 25th Sept and was told it would be ready the same day. However we had to chase later that day to be told they were busy and not had chance to look at it but was told it would be done a priority next day, again had to chase on the 26th, again on the 29th to be told it wasn't due a service!!! After checking our records again WE established it was due...........we were told somebody would check and come back to us, again it was chased on the 2nd Oct and 6th Oct..........again told it wasn't due a service and the Workshop Manager would call us back to explain!!!!!! Nobody called so chased again today 7/10 to be told that our van would finally be looked at today and blamed the fact they were busy and not the fact it wasn't due a service. Its a very disappointing experience and would expect better customer service and communication from a Mercedes Dealership.

We were let down very badly by another…

We were let down very badly by another branch of NT&V - two weeks sat there and no communication stating they couldn't diagnose issue!
Recovered to Leeds & within 3 days, diagnosed & parts ordered.
Liam & Danny Kept us informed every step of the way & I couldn't have asked for anymore!
