I first shopped here over twenty five years ago and still visit several times a year. The store used to be lovely but now it is cluttered and overpriced. The charm has gone. Many of the staff at the Abergavenny coffee shop/ restaurant are surly; the food is no longer that good. So disappointing

I ordered a pair of Wellington boots that were shown as in stock on the website. I then noticed after I placed the order they were showing as out of stock. When I emailed them, they responded to say they were incorrectly shown as in stock and have refunded my order. Similar to other reviews - their online stock management system does not seem to be accurate.

Placed an order for a skirt my wife wanted for Christmas as their website showed it as being in stock. I received confirmation of the order and an estimated delivery date, but I've just receiving an email stating the order has been cancelled due to insufficient stock! Not even an apology! Their systems are clearly inadequate, probably a bricks and mortar store without a clue how to run an online business. I could have bought the item from a more competent retailer but I now have to wait for a refund. This is the first and last order I'll place with this business so I cannot recommend them at all. Looking at some of the other reviews, stay well clear!

I make an order and asked return lable after when Item doesn't suit me. They don't have return lables. But mentioned they will refund all the price I will spend on shipping. Just my emails gon somewere and nobody return my shipping expenses.

The wrong shoes were sent to me twice due to incorrect listings on the website. Returns are turning out to be a lenghty process and I can only communicate through leaving an online message and waiting for a reply.

I recently bought a raincoat from Nicholls online and am really happy with the product and the service. The raincoat is good quality, the pictures and information on the website were extensive and accurate, the buying process was simple, the delivery was good value and quick, and the coat came thoughtfully packaged in nice tissue paper. I paid for standard delivery and my order arrived two days after i’d made the purchase. I’d shop with this store again.

Never again, first experience with this company and last, ordered a coat for my partner paid a little extra on this website because they offered dpd express delivery, only to be told you order is delayed and will be dispatched the next day, the next day come and I get a email saying they don’t have the item no more, pointless ordering from here if they can’t meet the requirements they offer as a service.
