I had a fantastic experience with the Richmond branch of Newtons Solicitors and highly recommend their conveyancing services. Monika and Sharon were lovely to deal with and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. They were also very communicative and always quick to respond to any questions and explain the state of play.
What really stood out to me was their flexible, traditional approach to paperwork. Rather than forcing everything onto an online portal, which can be time-consuming and frustrating, they allowed documents to be sent by post. They were even happy to reply by post if requested. Not having to do everything digitally is a massive help and great for people of a certain generation who prefer physical correspondence.
On top of the excellent service, their fees were very reasonably priced. I am incredibly grateful for their help and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I approached Newtons Solicitors to deal with a property issue, namely a Deed of Grant. Patrick contacted me very quickly with an explanation of the procedure. What impressed me most was that he was always available on the end of a phone. It wasn't an easy process as the wheels turn very slowly with utility companies. We recently sold and purchased a property through Newtons Solicitors (Knaresborough). Our Solicitor was Liz Balmforth and her Assistant Emma Harman. The conveyancing was carried out professionally and in the shortest of time. Their attention to detail and their communication with us was outstanding as was their dealings with the third party solicitors. Liz and Emma have a quiet and friendly manner and their approach to conveyancing is exemplary. We have instructed Liz, with her Assistant Emma, a few times recently as they are very experienced and we highly recommend them.
