Be Careful — Charged Even After Cancelling
I had a very frustrating experience with New Room regarding an unauthorised charge after cancelling my subscription.
Although I cancelled the service, I was still charged once afterwards. While it was only a single charge, it raises serious concerns — I would likely have continued to be charged if I hadn’t noticed it in time.
Because of this, I no longer trust that the charges will stop, and I now have to go through my bank to block any future payments.
It should not be possible for a company to take payment after a subscription has been cancelled. This shows a lack of proper billing controls and creates unnecessary stress for customers.
Very disappointing experience.
