I appreciate other reviews have mentioned door to door approach to fundraising. I had someone come to my door today. They were very polite. They were extremely positive. I didnt feel pressured and I was happy to sign up.

Absolutely disgusted
Absolutely disgusted, by your door callers. I listened to a conversation with one of your callers with my teenage daughter on our ring door bell. The guy should be sacked trying to bully a student into paying a monthly fee. Even after she told him she was a student, he continued "sure you can afford a couple of pounds a month' Shane on all of you!! I am actually partially deaf and I am absolutely disgusted. I will be reporting this along with the video to the Police.

Door to door needs to STOP. Desperate need to review strategy within this charity
I agree with all the other reviews here that there's something really wrong with the marketing and fundraising practices in this charity. It's very intrusive coming back to people's houses multiple times a day to try to guilt people into signing up on the door! I strongly would suggest you review your business strategy because you are damaging your reputation and I highly doubt your door to door visits are actually generating substantial funds. There are so many other more successful ways to gain exposure and fundraise. Please stop bothering people on the door. It feels very targeted and borders on harassment in many people's experiences.

Absolutely appalling representation of…
Absolutely appalling representation of a charity. Praying and harassing on the vulnerable and constantly bothering people and won't take no for an answer. Have been bothered 4 time's today by your door to door salesmen whist trying to work from home. On one occasion came back twice in 30 minutes. Then after my Husband came home from work proceed another 3 times untill 21.00 hours at night. Trespassing around the back of my house up the side driveway to try and get an answer at the back. They even bothered my elderly neighbour of 78 who is vulnerable at 8.30pm. This is harassment by your representatives if this is how you educate them to approach people for donations then your charity seriously needs looking into by the regulator's. Never witnessed anything like it plaguing people untill you open your door and sign up. Praying on the vulnerable, bothering people who could be on their own late at night untill they answer their doors to you. Absolutely appalling and disgusting.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting…
Today I had the pleasure of meeting with Edward (FR5134), an extremely passionate member of NDCS. An absolute credit to the charity and its relevance for the upcoming projections of the future development representing deaf children and young adolescents.
Edward excelled beyond he's capabilities in a sense that he had such a strong passion for the charity and indeprh knowledge for the company, a true entrepreneur.
Thankyou Edward, I will most definitely pursue in donations.

Just going into debt...
Don't get me wrong the cold caller was nice at first. But he ignored that its a no cold calling area. I was in the middle of cooking dinner, he carried on chatting after I said I'm cooking. Im really sorry. He then tried guilt tripping me over how deaf children are ignores then pressured me into filling things online to show i wasnt ignoring them. Even after telling him I has no money in my account he still tried pushing me to use my Google pay app even though it would bounce because i genuinely had zero it would of put me into an unplanned overdraft. Like guys I know your a charity, but are you really wanting donators to go into debt.

Disgraceful
These guys just try to harass you in to donations should ashamed of themselves…. Three times in one day the same guy has came to my house. Completely unnecessary and will not take no for an answer!

These people waste all your money going…
These people waste all your money going door to door and harassing you multiple times a day.
Do not waste money, none of it goes to the needy it all goes to paying people to harass you at home.
Door to door again
WFH today and had someone banging on the door for this charity, there seemed to be a group of them. I said I was not interested and closed the door before she could argue. She came back again a moment ago (1840) asking the exact same question, Husband had to say no again. I will never give my money to anyone going from door to door!!

Even after I cancelled my direct debit, they kept calling me several times, including when I was at work. Their style borders on harassment and extortion to be honest.

They came today FOUR times, they don't understand "I'm not interested" response. I told them "No" on many different occasions and they still don't give up!!! This is disgusting behaviour and they are harassing my family!!!

I came across this charity in Newcastle and wow the behaviour of these particular two persons was appalling! KASIM was so disrepectful! He's making fun of people who are not ready to sign up for them! I don't know what kind of trainings are they getting from this charity. Shame on them!!!!
No privacy from this company
I work from home and have a sign on the door, no cold callers, charities… and so forth. Yet they still knock. When I tell them I am working they persist and ask for a better time. I will never donate to charities that engage in this kind of behaviour. They should learn some etiquette and pay attention to signs on doors.

As a person who loves charity work and fundraising, I have to say that this is the worst charity I have encountered. I may sound like a Karen, but if I want to donate, I want to donate on my own accord, an act of charity has to be made out of an act of willingness for it to mean anything. That donation meant nothing and has filled me with anger. NO choice was given. Not one, "Would you like to donate today." No. Just a, "So, how much are you donating today". One of the options said, "Other", so I said "Other", and they said, "I'm SoRRy BuT We CanT UsE ThaT oPtiOn TOdaY". So tell me, tell me why is it there?

An absolutely disgraceful charity
An absolutely disgraceful charity. Their door-to-door collectors won't take no for an answer, they refuse to display their IDs, they harass, they trespass, and when you complain to the charity they promise it won't happen again, but then it happens again. There is such a thing as the Fundraising Code of Practice, which NDCS says it abides by, but its collectors are either ignorant of or choose to disregard.
