Once we made our selection, Karl went above and beyond to ensure we got the best deal with our customisation options. Honestly, the best purchase experience I've had... I’m extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with Natuzzi, particularly due to poor service and a consistent lack of communication throughout the entire process.
More concerning was the complete lack of communication. Multiple emails I sent on 18 and 20 February were entirely ignored. In those messages, I clearly outlined the time I had lost at work, the financial impact caused by the delays, and the ongoing inconvenience and stress this situation created. I also made a reasonable request for fair compensation. In a separate email, I specifically highlighted the loss of time and pay at work and asked for this to be taken into account—this was also completely ignored and never acknowledged.
Although Natuzzi admitted their service had “fallen short,” there has been no meaningful accountability, no proper response to my concerns, and no real effort to resolve the situation. The inconsistent handling by different staff members, combined with the lack of ownership and empathy, reflects a serious failure in customer care. Arranging delivery was another issue no clear time given, which led to me having to wait at home all day - loss of pay for me for a day from work.
From the outset, there was a pattern of missed deadlines, broken promises, and unclear updates. I was owed a £300 refund and, on 18 February 2026, I was explicitly told it would be in my account by 23 February. Given that previous commitments had already been missed, I even requested written confirmation for reassurance. Despite this, the refund did not arrive until 24 February. While a one-day delay might seem minor, it came after repeated failures to meet agreed timelines, which only added to the frustration.
Overall, this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience that falls far below what you would expect from a company with such a reputation. To make matters worse, after spending £3,500, I received a damaged sofa and was only offered a £300 refund, which is wholly inadequate given the circumstances.

We have been looking for 2 sofas for the past year , we were blown away with so many choices in some many locations . We were so relieved to find Matthew in Natuzzi , Norwich . We actually found what we were looking for with Mathew’s help and patience . We have a small lounge and needed something that would work . We can only say what a great no pressure service . We had another 3 shops to check out before we visited them all , Matthew suggested we still look and come back and sit on them again before buying . We took his advice and we were convinced after trying one more time and we did a deal . Mathew’s trainee manager ( missed his name , sorry ) was also very helpful with no hard selling .
