Absolutely the worst place to buy gold or ANYTHING for that matter, unless you want to be made to wait literally for weeks on a tracking number and longer for your order AND they treat you like complete trash when you call them. NEVER AGAIN FOR THIS OKE COUNTRY BOY!!!

All bullion purchasers are advised of a 10-15 business day window for delivery due to the high demand for the first-time buyer pricing.
Customer placed Introductory Offer order February 28, 2025, UPS tracking information sent via email March 18, 2025, and coins delivered March 20, 2025, which is 14th business day, therefore within 10-15 business day window. This is the standard notice of tracking number and delivery for NCBR bullion orders.
Angie was great
Angie was great! My original purchase was shipped back to the shipper as I was not home to sign for the delivery. When I called back, a man told me I would have to repurchase it at a higher price which did not seem fair as I had already purchased it. Angie went out of the way and called me back and told me she would honor the price I paid. She followed up with phone calls, letting me know when it was being shipped. She was great!

Dishonorable and Overpriced
My father (an elderly man) was convinced that precious metals would be a good investment and he has purchased A LOT of gold, silver & platinum over the past 5 years from this company. NCBR promised him that they would buy back his coins if and when he needed to cash in his investment. Well, that time has come and I have been working to liquidate his collection to pay for his medical expenses. I have come to the conclusion that NCBR has no intention of making right on their promise. After 2 months of getting the run around and excuses from Don and Jeff, they have now completely stopped communicating. They have not answered or returned phone calls or emails over the past 6 weeks.
I have also gone to six different coin dealers and even with the high market price like we are seeing currently, I cannot come close to recovering his purchase price for most of the coins. Some of them are as much as 1/3 less than he paid for them from NCBR. Their tactic appears to be a total lack of communication hoping you will get discouraged, go away and not press the issue. Do not spend your life savings with this company. Do your research, there are much better deals out there if you want to invest your money. This appears to just be one more scammer preying on the trust of the older generation.
This review was written on June 17, 2024. The only timely communication I have ever received from NCBR was after I put up this review. They called within minutes begging me to take it down and promised they would get serious about finding buyers for these coins. Here we are 9 months later and their effort has been abysmal. Yes, they sold a couple items to appease me. Then they went right back to making excuses and ignoring calls/emails. Again, do your research. You can find precious coins for MUCH less with MUCH better customer service elsewhere.

Mr. Jensen requested Nationwide Coins (NCBR) to attempt to sell some of his coin collection. NCBR facilitated the sale of $28,935.00 worth of Certified Gold and Platinum coins since original request to liquidate, and has been actively working to help this customer liquidate more of their certified coins. These liquidations can take time and that was communicated to customer. Since that date the buying and selling team has attempted to sell the specified coins provided by Mr. Jensen. Due to economic conditions which include financial chaos in the economy, competition from Crypto/Bitcoin, Middle East War, Ukraine/Russia War, tariffs and change of Presidential administration, it has been more difficult to facilitate sales of the customer listed coins.
Nationwide Coins provides the service of facilitating the sale within customer data base at no charge. Some customers feel this takes too long and does not fit customer personal timeline although coins were purchased over months and sometimes years.
As far as any “coin dealers” legitimate appraisals of the coins, we have seen these “Shark Tank” type bids as being for gold weight only (telling customers that is the value without including mint condition, collectability, rarity, and being part of former U. S. Mint Master Designer and Engraver Don Everhart’s Signature Series Collection).
NCBR is more than willing to continue to facilitate the sales of this customer’s certified coins in light of what today’s market can bear.
