I've been a long standing clients of MQL5.com, from past 15 years!

Recently, I purchased several EA's as they're ranked high by MQL and constantly were displayed when I logged in, and have excellent backtesting results, also many had real live profitable signals shown on MQL5.com site.

All were expensive automatic trading bots.

But they were completely the opposite in real trading and made huge loses.
So not only I paid upfront a huge sum of money for these bots but had huge loses after I paid when the bots traded.

On complaining to MQL5.com that I was mislead in buying this bots by the developer, and that MQL5.com helped these developer by advertising the fraudulent product (signal/backtest) and that I was sold a misleading and faulty product by their site, I was banned !!!

Yes, they ban people who complain and also delete their comments !!
Many users had their comments removed and were banned post asking for a refund and complaining about developer or MQL5.com.

I, along with 40+ users were making loses whereas just 4-5 uses were showing they were making profits just in screenshots, which was not possible with same broker being used by all.

On asking about trading journal to these users of EA Goldenity, we discovered that this developer was using fake reviews, by "planting users within the forum", which is apparently a common practice on MQL5.com.

This website should only be used to get mql coding done by freelancers, not to buy any products.

Not only i and others had no refund for fraudulent product, EA Goldenity, sold by MQL5.com but we were harassed on complaining to MQL5.com.

So, 1st they injure you than they literally tortured the victims like sadist !!

MQL5 is a website, designed, developed and run by the scammers, for the scammers !!

This site should be banned altogether

Beware guys, when you buy any product such EA than consider your money gone for the purchase and loses thereafter. If you complain, you'll be banned!

Unfair Arbitration, Slow Responses & Bias Toward Developers – Beware!
My experience with MQL5’s freelance service and their arbitration process was absolutely frustrating, slow, and completely biased toward the developer. While I may still use the platform, this situation exposed serious flaws in how MQL5 handles disputes—favoring developers, delaying resolutions, and forcing customers to waste time checking work that was never correct.

What Went Wrong?
1. The Developer Missed the Deadline & Delivered an Incomplete Product
- The job had a one-day deadline, which the developer failed to meet.
- I reviewed the bot multiple times, and each time, it had major issues that did not meet my requirements.
- Instead of fixing it properly, the developer gave up and rushed into arbitration, I guess he knew MQL5 wouldn't hold him accountable and he would either win or get half the money. Either way it was a win-lose situation for me.

2. MQL5’s Arbitration Process Was a Joke
- They took forever to even make a decision.
- They took forever to respond every time I asked for an update.
- When they finally did respond, they always sided with the developer, asking me to check the work again every time the developer submitted another incomplete version.
- Instead of enforcing the agreed-upon specifications, they forced me to repeatedly test faulty work, dragging out the process unnecessarily.

3. MQL5 Ignored My Fair Settlement Offer
- Since the bot wasnt what i wanted, and this process was getting dragged out, I proposed a simple replacement bot that would have taken 10 minutes to create as a fair compromise.
- Instead of considering my offer, they completely ignored it and automatically ruled for a 50/50 split, rewarding the developer despite clear evidence that the job was never properly completed.

Lessons Learned: Avoid New Developers & Don’t Trust MQL5 Arbitration
I chose this developer because they had no work backlog, but I should have gone with someone more experienced.
New developers with little to no reviews may rush through projects, ignore requirements, and fail to deliver what was agreed upon.
MQL5’s arbitration process is slow, unfair, and frustrating—they favor developers and ignore customer concerns.
If you hire someone and they fail to deliver, don’t count on arbitration to get your money back —you’ll likely get a dragged-out process and a rushed decision that benefits the developer more than you.
Final Verdict: MQL5’s Arbitration Process is a Mess
If you’re using MQL5’s freelance service, be extremely cautious:
Avoid new developers with little experience or reviews, even if they seem available.
Expect arbitration to take forever and be one-sided in favor of the developer.
If a developer misses the deadline or fails to deliver, arbitration won’t help much—you’ll just be forced to keep checking incomplete work.

This was a terrible experience, and I’m extremely disappointed in MQL5’s slow responses, bias toward developers, and refusal to enforce fair resolutions. If they continue to handle disputes like this, they will lose trust with serious users.

Servizio desk pessimo.Sono tutti messi daccordo,venditori e service desk.Finche' gli dai i soldi e' tutto apposto.Appena l'EA che hai comprato gli dici che e' DIVERSA da cio' che hai comprato ( neanche che non funziona ,e' proprio diverso ahaha ) impazziscono....Comunque fortunatamente che ho pagato con paypal ,e ricevero' un rimborso lo stesso che loro siano daccordo o no.Infatti non fatevi fregare,pagate sempre con paypal,almeno siete protetti da tutti gli scam di questo sito!

I just hope someone reads this and can save themselves a lot of money before paying for the scams on this website, like I did. This website is full of scammers, the backtests are retrofitted and these EA bots will never make you money under any circumstances. There is no customer support, after being scammed you are on your own. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY

I cant login to the website
I Paid for cetus and I cant install in on my platform
I don't even get a download for the EA
There is no record of my purchase of cetus
When get a a new password in comes up as incorrect

The platform is great and the services are amazing but the support is very slow, from such a website i would expect at least a chatbot an some agent to anser live, also i think the way the service subscriptions works is bad, you pay for a signal and you have only 24h to test it out ? that's not enough. They need to get more flexible , for example they could simply instead make you pay a monthly fee and be able to try diferent signals, for example you pay a minimum of 30bucks and you can use any signal for the period you need and get it deducted from your balance then switch to another if you want instead of getting stuck on a monthly sub that you may not use anymore.

Servizio HELP DESK pessimo! Mai nella storia servizio peggiore! Ho effettuato una login col mio account nel PC di un mio amico, non l'avessi mai fatto! Secondo loro ho creato un profilo falso, il mio, non sono una persona fisica e non mi permettono da più di un anno di comprare o vendere nel loro market place, senza darmi nessuna spiegazione, nessuna soluzione, nessuna risposta chiudendomi l'help inviato. Che poi per avere il profilo seller devi mandare una serie di documenti proprio per evitare che tu sia una persona fake. Quindi non sanno proprio fare il loro lavoro. Una vergogna assoluta trattarmi poi in questa maniera, dopo tutti i soldi che ho speso per comprarmi Expert advisor nel loro pessimo market place pieno di gente fake che vende fake prodotti.

When I had a trouble in withdrawing money I made in the platform, I thought that I'd better give up, and opened a service desk request without hope.
Fortunately, they kindly replied and guided me into the right track, and today I got a success message.
I understand, they have a huge user base, so the process until completion might take several days, but I'm happy with the result after all.

They banned my account with no explanation.

Freelance developers are filled with scammers. Give them a contract and they will delay and not meet up

Request for initial demo and your account is just blocked with no explanation

La plateforme est pas terrible mais fonctionne bien pour les robots. Quelques problèmes cependant : l'immense majorité des robots du site (la totalité ?) sont des arnaques et fonctionnent à base de martingales ou grid qui font exploser les petits comptes. Les vendeurs racontent n'importe quoi, leurs backtests sont mensongers. Quand il y a un bug plateforme ou du site aucun personnel du site ne vous répond (mais ils réparent en douce). Ils prélèvent la tva française mais je ne crois pas qu'ils la reversent... Leurs frais sont élevés. Le forum francophone est dead, rien d'intéressant. Beaucoup de programmeurs sont incapables de réaliser correctement votre robot. Difficile de trouver quelqu'un de compétent et les avis sont faux puisque ni les clients ni les programmeurs n'ont intérêt à avoir une mauvaise note... Donc en résumé l'idée est bonne, c'est bien que cela existe mais c'est pollué de menteurs eet d'arnaques et géré par des gens peu soucieux des ''clients''. Si il y avait une alternative j'irai vers elle tout de suite mais ce n'est pas vraiment le cas. Malheureusement.

Après plus de 2 ans sur la plateforme, 15 000usd dépensés en robots et indicateurs.
Sur 30 robots, seul 4 sont encore en ligne.
Parfois plus de 1000usd dépensé pour un seul robot. Backtests exceptionnels et en fait en réel énormément d'argent perdu. Plus de 600 000usd perdu a cause des EA frauduleuses, aucun SAV, une arnaque complète gérée par des Russes expat a chypre.
Toujours la même histoire :
Le prix augmente par palier,
Backtests exceptionnels car le code est truqué
Vous ralez et l'auteur fait une mise a jour
Il va vous dire qu'il faut attendre et que surtout les résultats passés ne sont pas les résultats futurs
Vous continuez de perdre
Vous écrivez a mql5 aucun sav ni retour ni remboursement puisqu'une fois l'ea activée vous acceptez aucun droit de rétractation.
Vous ralez et mettez une étoile a l'EA
Vous perdez tout.
L'EA disparaît, le vendeur avec et vous avez tout perdu.
Je dépose une plainte a la cybersécurité chez Interpol.

I believe that scammers are gathering here. My account simply disappeared with the advisors I bought and I couldn’t find an answer anywhere. Advisors with false reviews.

The most terrible helpdesk! they wont help you! they will take their service fee and left what ever happen with a scammer developer, they don't care.. there is no reply back from helpdesk and they don't care of their customers! the developers also know that the helpdesk is of no use and probably support the developers to bring in more business. so they are all ready to scam you. be away from here, you will just loose your money..

Dealing with them since 2015, great great great... BUT THERE ARE SOME STUPID MODERATORS WHO BAN YOU FOR STUPID REASONS.. the management is great 💯..
Only bad is these moderators who are playing and banning others.

Paid for 2 software products and within days they were taken off the site, no longer operating and cannot be redownloaded and mql5 desk says get ahold of the developer. uuu how does that fix the problem?? i purchased the product through mql5 and can't redownload or resolve problems. they take your money and can't be bothered. not ever doing business with mql5 again.

2 day later I discover a credit on my MQL5 acct, no email was sent and of course the money was not refunded but kept as a credit balance. Sending another internal message to please refund.

a credit card dispute solved the problem.

NEVER GIVE MQL5 YOUR MONEY UNLESS IT IS YOUR LAST OPTION

Think before you subscribe any signal in MQL5, buggy platform you will end up losing lot of money.

It doesn't properly reflect the signal providers trades.

Here are some of the things that you can see bugs in, which is not designed properly

1) Ratio calculation: This is one of the worst design I have ever seen. Lost lot of money due to this calculation issues.
When you add some funds or lose some funds it again recalculates the ratio and closes the current running trades which are in negative & opens new one. You will end up losing lot of money here.

2) Duplicate trades: This often happened to me, when signal provider opens a trade with 0.01 there will be 2trades open with same lot size in signal subscribers account. At some point it realizes it as a duplicate trade and closes automatically. This I have reproduced multiple times and raised issue, moderator claimed my account as a bug.

3) Buy limit or Sell limit: If signal provider set some buy or sell limit in his account and gets cancelled, it opens a trade in signal subscribers account and closes immediately which will be a loss again. This is something which I have frequently noticed.

Très mauvais plate-forme Mql5
Très mauvais expérience avec la plate-forme Mql5, un test réal avec un compte Demo sont impossible, les backtest sont optimisés pour vous attiré , une fois acheté et activé pour réel test, rien est remboursables. Le site a ainsi limitée mon compte, ne peut plus mise à jours mes achats de plusieurs milliers d'euros.
