Bought a discovery from them 6 weeks…

Bought a discovery from them 6 weeks ago after two days the dash literally lit up like a Christmas tree when contacting the garage was told they would sort it but six weeks later still nothing after several calls and god knows how many texts now being ignored after being promised there not like every other garage we was also sold a warranty but still have not received any paperwork confirming the warranty and they had the cheek to charge us £360 odd for admin fees I would stay clear of this place at all costs

I recently purchased a BMW from Motor League, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment I walked in, the team was professional, welcoming, and genuinely committed to helping me find the perfect car.

The staff took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, answered all my questions with honesty, and never pressured me. They made comparing different M4 models and options effortless, and the transparency during pricing and paperwork made the process smooth and stress-free.

When I drove off in my new BMW M4, it was clear that Motor League takes pride in both the quality of their vehicles and their customer service. The car was immaculate, and the handover was seamless.

If you’re looking for a luxury car with a team that truly cares about your experience, Motor League is the place to go. I highly recommend them!

Very poor.

I had an extremely poor experience with this company, and it has been nothing short of a shambles from start to finish.

Communication was appalling. Phone calls were rejected, messages were ignored, and I was constantly left chasing for updates. Basic customer service was completely lacking.

I bought a car over a month and a half ago, yet I only had it in my possession for a maximum of two weeks due to faults. The vehicle was clearly faulty, and the issues were never properly resolved.

The courtesy car provided was also faulty. I was told to buy a battery for it out of my own pocket, only to then be accused of lying.

To make matters worse, I was told in the morning that my car was ready for collection, only to be informed later the same day that there was yet another problem with it and he couldn’t tell me when it would be resolved.

I lost a significant amount of money due to unnecessary fuel for travelling back and forth with the car and insurance costs for the courtesy car, and when a refund was processed, more money was taken from me than should have been.

Overall, this company has demonstrated poor communication, incompetence, and a complete lack of respect for customers. I would strongly advise others to avoid unless you want stress, wasted time, and financial loss.

Low key scammers

Low key scammers. Paid deposit and delivery charge almost £1000 . Changed my mind before any shipping but they won’t give any money back blaming on third party delivery company

BMW 420d coupe

I recently purchased BMW 420 coupe and the experience has been nothing short of excellent. From the moment I got behind the wheel, I was impressed by the smooth ride, responsive handling, and overall comfort. Do not part exchanged with this company

I recently (1st of June) part-exchanged my previous vehicle with this company. While I’m very happy with my new car, the ongoing issues related to the vehicle I traded in have been extremely frustrating and frankly not worth the hassle.
Despite assurances from the company that they would handle the ownership transfer, this was not done. I initially began the process myself, but was told they would take care of everything — unfortunately, they did not follow through.

As a result, I have received a warning from the DVLA, a speeding ticket, and a parking penalty — all related to a car I no longer own. I've since had to spend considerable time and effort trying to clear my name with the DVLA, the police, and the parking authority.

I strongly advise others not to rely on this company to manage the legal aspects of a vehicle transfer.

People please read the comments on all websites as on autotrader he only approves the good one I think as I posted few regards my issues but none of them is visible. This dealer is not a dealer is very poor sales man really would not advise anyone to buy from him bought a car from him 5 months down the line needed new gearbox he refused to help me with the issues any other dealer ship would of sorted out as this is your reputation you know the car shouldn’t broken down in 5000 miles I do understand stuff can happen but he should offer some kind of help car cost me 19000 pounds and he says I only supply with 3 months warranty so if I was to buy again won’t be this dealer that’s for sure and I really disappointed that I have chosen him in first place as I wasn’t expected to be this kind of guy. I will sort my gearbox out and drive again but you people thing before go to him

Visual and mechanical car is very good condition. Got short Mot but after sale asking for refresh have no any problem to do it. Thanks for best service

Such a thug behaviour

Such a thug behaviour. Very fast on taking the money,but absolutely rubbish at taking responsibility.
About one year ago they sold me a car that broke down after 80 miles. Tha car had a new MOT on purchase,done by the garage next door to Motorleague in Faringdon. Clearly the MOT wasn't at the highest standards as after 80 miles,when it broke down with a gearbox malfunction,my mechanic told me the car doesn't have any handbrake,front brakes are worn way beyond acceptable limits and not barking evenly,and the intake mayfold was "glued together".
I kindly asked them to fix the gearbox problem(the most expensive one) or refund my money. They took 3 weeks to solve the gearbox,only to find out after 9 months,they used the absolute cheapest parts they could find,that wouldn't even last one year.
So yes, zero morals.

Be Aware


I bought an Audi convertible from MotorLeague Ltd in mid February. Within a week the car had internal flooding due to a blocked drain and water build up inside the body of the car which although this can easy fix in itself it caused immediate serious damage.

I’d experienced Motor League as friendly and professional when buying the car so I was expecting the same when letting them know that such a major thing had happened.

Unfortunately, that’s not my experience.

Motor League offered to have the car valeted once I’d had the drains unblocked… completely missing the point that the water ingress had already done much more damage than could be sorted with a valet. They also said that because I’d driven the car about 600 miles in that week it was clearly fit for purpose… again completely missing the point that the problem isn’t one found out through driving but through weather/rain.

I had as much of the water hoovered from the carpets and from the body of the car where it was trapped to stop the problem getting any worse, however, the speakers had already stopped working.

I was advised by Audi that the problem is serious and doesn't just happen. It occurs over a period of time. Also as the electrics for the car run underneath the seats, this means that the seats and carpets need to be taken out, the car dried out and only then can full assessment of the damage be made… and yes, speakers not working were an indicator of water damage.

I asked for a full refund as advised by Citizens Advice inaccordance with Consumer Rights 2015 and The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Suddenly there were Motor League terms and conditions (of which I’d never received or ever have received a copy of), no one would speak to me, a 5 week long silence and now an email accusing me of planning to damage the car and get a refund from the beginning. Eh?

It’s now been nearly 10 weeks since I bought the car, and over 8 weeks since I’ve had any transport. I live in a rural area and so having no car is seriously impacting my life.

In the meantime I’ve had to pay £280 for a report which was completely unnecessary as I’d already got the info for free from a very helpful Audi dealership. I’ve had to pay over £100 to get the car recovered to my home after said report. I’ve got my dream car sitting on the drive with at least £3.5k of damage due to flooding, I’m still paying my TAX and insurance of course and I got to drive it for a week before all this happened.

I’ve never written a negative review about anyone or any service before and I will happily edit or add to this review if and when things get sorted properly but in the meantime, I’m having a horrible time. It’s incredibly stressful and time consuming to be spending so much time talking to Citizens Advice, Auto Trader, Audi, Solicitors etc all of which are telling me that what I am asking for is well within my rights but Motor League are refusing to acknowledge them.

I’ve not asked for any compensation or payment towards a hire car etc (yet)…. I have simply asked for my money back and the car to be picked up. Instead I’ve been accused, ignored, patronised and massively inconvenienced. What I really wanted AND PAID for … a lovely, well looked after, new (to me) car has turned into a stressful and expensive nightmare.

Unfortunately this is now getting very serious.

My advice…. Go elsewhere… maybe to a company that’s more established (I wish I’d checked companies house), sends T&C’s, is a member of the Motoring Ombudsman, has good reviews for when things go wrong not just when they go right and honours basic consumer rights.
