I am so completely disappointed with your company. I thought Moosejaw was a reputable and trustworthy company I was very wrong. 1st you tell me I can price match and use promo then you tell me no it’s one or the other and it’s to late to cancel because it’s shipped but I get the return label before the shipping notification. Then I’m told promo and price match can be done 2 days later all I’m done again by some team leads and Cassandra. Mean while my tent that was suppose to take two days is not here it’s been almost a week shows delivered guess what no help from Moosejaw I am out $500 plus because no signature confirmation required?! This is rediculous I have never felt so scammed and taken advantage of I am calling the better business bureau and will share this message with plenty of other out door enthusiasts.

I made two purchases online to Moosejaw in the past 30 days and I will not be ordering anything more from them, as they have a serious problem with either quality control or purchasing or both. The issue is that items are not sized accurately.

I ordered two pairs of shorts in my usual size. (I had order another pair of shorts from LL Bean 2 weeks earlier and the size was perfect) For some reason Moosejaw shipped the two pairs in two shipments spaced a week apart. When I received the first pair and tried them on, I found that they ran small and therefore I was going to have to order a larger size. Based on input from cust support, I waited until the second pair arrived, tried them on and then sent back both pairs -- at my expense. After a very long wait, the replacement shorts arrived and while still smaller than expected, they were usable and therefore I kept them.

I ordered a pair of winter gloves (in July) only because Moozejaw told me I could use the points I had accumulated from buying the shorts to reduce the cost of the gloves. I order size Medium -- the size I always order, but when the gloves arrived they are larger than expected. I refuse to spend any more money returning improperly sized items to this vendor and simply will not purchase anything from them in the future.

Bottom line: I would not recommend buying any clothing from this company under any circumstances!

I ordered some mountain bike shoes and they sent me birkenstocks. I was supposed to go on a four day trip and received my order just in time. They sent the shoes I was supposed to get somewhere else and now there is no way I can get them in time. I cancelled my order and will try and figure something else out for my trip...

I ordered some stuff on moosejaw.com. What horrible customer service. First of all, when you call they have this horrible recording you have to listen to of a Winston Churchill speech. It's occasionally interrupted by the annoying voice of a young woman who tries to make jokes (that aren't funny) about how upset they are that you're waiting on hold.

Now to my issue. As the attached picture indicates (see help review- no pix here), I ordered a pair of twist ties that are supposed to be a 2-pack of 6". You can clearly see I got sent one 64" tie. What I was sent came in extremely un-environmentally friendly plastic sack packaging that you have to rip open to get into it ' it's not something you can reuse for a return.

So when I called customer service, you'd think the smart thing to do for customer goodwill would be to ship me the right thing and let me keep this silly thing (worth $7) instead of having to spend my time n energy to figure out how to package it up and send it back to them when it's they mistake in the first place. I can't reuse the packaging it came in. I tried to point this out to the customer rep, giving him an opportunity to say, never mind just keep it. It's all of a $7 item. I don't even have a way to attach a paper of UPS return label to it. He told me to try tape. So, instead, they're getting a one star review. Great thinkin!

Also, I don't know who writes their copy and thinks it's funny but who would put, "sorry for being so mean about it" on an order invoice? (Pic on yelp review)

Mean companies who don't have a sense of genuine humor that engages your customers as opposed to sounding like jerks don't deserve my business - or yours.

I could not be happier with my experience with Moosejaw. We went to them for a bulk order of Hydro Flasks for a corporate giveaway. Of course, my boss gave me an impossible deadline and a very specific product.

I emailed a quote request to Moosejaw and started talking to the VIP Sales group there. Abby Milligan could not have been nicer or more helpful. Not only did she get my Hydro Flasks to me, but she went above and beyond to get the number I needed, even having them ordered directly from their supplier and shipped expedited to my office. She kept me up-to-date on the progress of the order and checked in afterward to make sure I was happy.

Moosejaw has quickly moved to the top of my list for corporate gifts, and personally I'll be doing a lot of holiday shopping on their site.

Sent me the wrong item literally four times. Customer service is incredibly condescending and unknowledgeable about company policies and their gear. There are way too many places just like this to order from to waste your time on Moosejaw.

Ordered an eureka tent, 2 day shipping, arrived as ordered and on time. Good chat service. Was skeptical due to poor reviews. Pleasantly surprised!

I recently purchased a new Yeti 45 from Moosejaw online store. Not only was it over $70 cheaper than everywhere else, it was the special edition color that is real hard to find local. The shipping was quick, think it took about 5days to get here and it was in perfect condition. Awesome purchase..!

I ordered three NorthFace jackets for my daughter and two sons. I got them on sale as well! Now, I became a little skeppy when my youngest son's jacket shipped off first and the other two were still processing. Found out why my youngest son's shipped sooner than my other kiddos. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Finally my other two kiddos shipped which made my day. When I rec'd my youngest jacket, it came on time as stated by tracking number and it was in clean and unworn condition. He loves it and it's his fave color. I just rec'd my daughter's and my other son's jacket today and they came as promised in good and unworn condition. They are very nice on them and my kiddos are extremely happy. Thanks MooseJaw for not disappointing THIS customer because boy I tell ya! I was worried after reading the reviews AFTER purchasing. Wheeewww! That was a close one.

Ordered a pocket aided. Never heard from them, never received item. CLled them and they acted rude and like it was my fault. Save your stress and go somewhere professional. Horrible company.

1. They sent me an Worn Wear jacket. I found a hole on the side of the jacket and I can smell dirty deodorant from the jacket.

2. Asked them how are we going to fix this issue and all they said to me.. "Return it".

3. Didn't explain returning process and had to called back to them for returning shipping charge and fee.

The company is very disorganized. Do not trust their expected delivery times.

One of the items I ordered that showed up as "in stock" was actually not available and had to be ordered from the manufacturer. Because I guess they wanted to ship everything together, all four items that I ordered were delayed. As an apology for the expected "2-4 day" delay, I was promised priority shipping for free.

Over a week later, I finally receive a shipping notification (regular shipping, and not priority shipping like they promised), but for some reason it was only for the one item that was out of stock. The other three items that had been in stock a week ago have yet to ship. To add to that, when I click on the link they sent me to track my order, I am taken to a page that says nothing in my order has actually shipped yet and it's all still "processing." (It's been a full day since I received the shipping notification, and still no update)

This is getting ridiculous, and I wish I had never ordered from them. I would cancel my order but I expect their refund process to be even worse and really don't want to deal with them anymore.

This company is extremely unorganized. I ordered my jacket on Dec 30th, it was suppose to arrive within less than 10 days (the lady said kn the phone). We’re january 22nd and still no jacket! I’m leaving Friday morning .. Customer service was unable to resolve. Will never purchase from them again. Not worth the discounted prices. Do not buy anything from them! Now I’m still battling to get a refund ...

This company is extremely unorganized. They messed up my order multiple times, which equated to hours spent on the phone trying to resolve this issue. Customer service and management was unable to resolve. Will never purchase from them again. Not worth the discounted prices.

My order was placed on December 5th and the shoes arrived a couple of days later but they send a completely different pair of shoes. I returned them a few days later expecting to get the correct order but today is December 24th. They have not send the right item or returned the money. Nobody called or emailed and when I called they did not have a clue if or when I'll get these shoes. The Christmas present is not going to arrive in time.
Bad experience and I'll never order anything again from this company.

I purchased two coats online from them and expected 2-day shipping like advertised. Like others, I discovered their 2-day shipping starts when the manufacture gets the order. GRRRRRR! I tried to cancel order after speaking with the Customer Service Rep and was told, "NOPE, too late you have to wait until the item ships and then return it." Seriously, who does business like that?
I returned the item the same day I received it. It has been 12 days since they received the order back at their site.....yet I haven't received a credit.

Their website projects a trendy fun experience. This wasn't any where close. Stay clear of buying from this vendor.

Terrible customer service and charging sales tax in states that don’t require sales tax. Much better vendors out there.

Terrible customer service. Summarizing my experience with them:

The order arrived a day late than advertised and I got a sweater instead of the backpack I ordered. When I called the customer center, they wanted me to go to the post office to return the sweater.

At this point, I had contacted Moosejaw FIVE times on this order. ALL of these interactions have been deeply frustrating.

1) The MJ reward system was NOT working. I did not get the reward until I had called Moosejaw twice.

2) The order was a day late than adverstised.

3) I got the WRONG product.

4) The customer representative wanted me to print out a return label and go to the post office to return the wrong product. (Spending my time and energy on their mistake).

5) Representative said they'll send another product with one-day shipping, and noted that it'll arrive with couple days. When I called again to confirm, they said it will in fact take 5 days.

Awesome customer service! Item just as described. Was told it would have to be ordered, and would be in and shipped on 12/4 and given a 15% discount. Item was shipped when stated and received on the 7th. Highly recommend!
