We’ve been using Moorepay for the past 2 years for HR and Payroll. Had some initial problems at the start but most things running smoothly now, particularly payroll which is much better than our previous solution. We have quarterly meetings with our Commercial Account Manager Ian who updates us on new products and services.
We’ve had a really positive experience…
We’ve had a really positive experience working with Moorepay for HR and payroll support. Their advisors are knowledgeable, professional, and provide clear, practical guidance, particularly when dealing with complex employee relations matters.
The advice is reliable and aligned with current UK legislation, which gives us confidence when managing sensitive situations within the business.
At times, response times can be slightly slower than expected during busy periods, but overall the level of support and expertise provided is very good.
A trusted partner for HR support, and we value the service they provide.
Major regrets with this system 8 months in
The system looked great when we onboarded less than a year ago. Since then, we've had major glitches with time and attendance- carry over expiry did not work as explained during onboarding (meaning much extra manual work), holidays did not deduct properly for different shift patterns (creating more manual corrections) and now the functionality around company shutdown days has inexplicably failed mid-year. 24 days later we don't seem to be any further forward with an Account Manager who does not reply to emails or voicemails, it took 3 attempts (over 2 weeks) to escalate the case to a Customer Service Manager, and still we cannot actually talk to anyone about it, leaving us little confidence the issue is even understood. If an HR system is to save time and manual work (and add and subtract values), this is definitely not it.

Not quite sure how they rate so high. The system has consistent bug that take unreasonable periods of time to resolve driving more inefficiencies and challenges than benefits. People are the most important part of any business and the issues that we have experienced have just caused our teams and managers pain.

Review is in respect of our Commercial Account Manager (Ian Duerdin) rather than managed payroll at this point in time.
Ian is knowledgeable and always responsive; he goes the extra mile to provide information or support, if he commits to do something or provide information it is always done same day. I have worked with Ian for a number of years and have found him helpful with a strong customer service ethic.

Moorpay V slow service not recommend
V slow service not recommend, moorpay I'm trying to reset my login 10 hrs I haven't received my pasword reset link. They need professional team to look at there service and improve quality of work ,I will keep reminding if i will have more difficulties

I think that the support we receive…
I think that the support we receive from our Account Manager, David Adams, is great. He's approachable, helpful and resolves matters quickly. We have regular updates, therefore, the communication is fantastic.
The reason I did not provide 5 stars is that I still believe there is room for improvement from the helpdesk. It has improved of late since Robyn and Siddiq have been joining us on calls and listening to our feedback. However, my payroll team inhouse do get frustrated at times when they have to chase for answers to queries.

Highly recommended
I’ve had a really positive experience working with Moorepay, and in particular with Jody. From the outset, she has been professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive throughout the process.
What stood out most was her attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her communication has been excellent, always clear and timely, which made the whole experience straightforward and stress-free.
Having worked with Moorepay previously, returning was an easy decision, and Jody has played a big part in reinforcing that. She is a real credit to the organisation and a great example of the level of service Moorepay provides.
Highly recommended.

Good Account Manager, difficult transition
Our Account Manager, David Adams, has been excellent during our time working together.
Unfortunately we have had a number of issues with the Moorepay/Natural HR transition, none of which are actually David's fault, however he has sat and listened on a regular basis to our complaints and either pulled other parties onto our calls to give reassurances/help to resolve or got involved in chasing the correct person.

We had a really positive experience working with Jody at Moorepay. From the outset, she’s been clear, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain things properly and make sure nothing was overlooked. Her communication has been excellent throughout, and she’s always been approachable, patient, and genuinely helpful.
Jody made what could have been a complicated process feel straightforward and well managed, which gave me real confidence. It’s clear she cares about delivering good service and making sure clients feel supported. She’s an absolute credit to Moorepay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

Ian Derian
Our account manager, Ian, was helpful in guiding us through options and making recommendations. There was no 'pushing' or hard sell approach and he enabled us the time we needed to make the right decisions.
The only slight negative, (not related to Ian), is that there is a charge for everything, e.g. to add a new contact or make a slight change to something.

As an employee of an organisation new…
As an employee of an organisation new to using Moorepay; my payslip calculated by Moorepay for the month of March was totally incorrect and left me with a shortfall which my employer has had to rectify. Unacceptable and I now have no faith in Moorepay as a Payroll platform.

Our customer account Manager Ian is…
Our customer account Manager Ian is great , he is easy to get hold of and is always prompt with finding us a solution to any of our issues. Whilst the set up with NHR and Moorepay have not been the smoothest Ian has been a great support and has definitely made sure we are aware no issue we have is too small to be bothered with which has been a great source of comfort.
