Not Yet A Full Product
I have high hopes for this platform, but it is far from being ready to deliver on what it advertises.
I started my paid subscription to MOBA Trainer around January 30th, 2026. However, only after making the purchase did I realize that the "~250 Mid lane puzzles" were not accessible even with the paid subscription, due to bugs in the software. I reported this immediately in the Discord server, put in an official ticket as I was asked to do, and had a chat with one of the developers. Their recommended solution was to do the random puzzle, leave if it wasn't a Mid lane puzzle (less than a 20% chance of it being Mid lane), then try again. Of course, the major drawbacks to this are that 1. it is a waste of time, 2. you cannot keep track of your progress, and 3. you cannot do the puzzles in order. The puzzles are the main selling point of the service, and it took 41 days after I reported it before a fix was implemented. I was not offered anything beyond that, despite stating that I "regretted my purchase" and that "I cannot access what I paid for". But, in their defense, I did not explicitly ask for a refund, so I can give a soft pass.
As of current writing (5/15/2026), the platform is still riddled with bugs. Bugs aside, the mechanics trainer portion of the app is borderline unplayable. This wouldn't be an issue if it weren't mandatory to do the mechanics trainer in order to progress in the new learning system.
All of this being said, I still have hope for the MOBA Trainer in the DISTANT future, and am sticking around to see the changes. However, I highly advise anyone reading this to NOT pay for a subscription, and to be aware that the free version significantly limits your use of the app. The only reason this review is not 1 star is that there is a free (highly-limited) option, and because I really love the idea of MOBA Trainer... If they can get it to function.
TL;DR: High potential here, but not yet ready for the market. Not as advertised on the website (it is in BETA, and this absolutely should be clearly disclosed). Do not invest time or money into it if you are not ready for a product in BETA.
