Broken promises, zero accountability, months of stalling

I’m sharing this as a warning based on my direct experience with Joe Miles and his team.

From the start, I was told Miles Brands would operate my Amazon store end-to-end. Instead, my Amazon accounts ended up shut down, and the most basic, reasonable question I asked was never answered: “What actions has your staff taken, if any, to get my account reinstated with Amazon?”

For six months, the response pattern was the same: “I’m checking with the team,” “I’m looking into it,” or “I’m waiting to hear back.” No concrete steps. No timeline. No summary of actions taken. Just endless deflection and delay.

When it came time to resolve things financially, I tried to end this professionally and repeatedly gave opportunities to settle. A signed settlement agreement was executed with a clear payment schedule and enforcement terms, and not a single payment was made. Every deadline came and went. Communication would disappear for long stretches, then resume only after the fact with new excuses and requests for more time.

This wasn’t just inconvenient, it was exhausting and costly. I lost time, money, and peace of mind chasing basic accountability that never came.

In my opinion, this operation is built on stalling and empty reassurance rather than performance and follow-through. If you value transparency, action, and honoring agreements, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

I fell for this scam and now I would…

I fell for this scam and now I would like to warn everyone to not get involved with Joe Miles. In our first conversation I was told if invest 10,000 dollars they would start up and run an e-commerce store for me. What a mistake I made and I would like to keep anyone else from giving this grifter any more hard earned money. This company doesn’t care about you, doesn’t respect and to top it all off doesn’t know how to run an e-commerce store. Well over 50% of my sales where cancelled because after weeks from when they ordered, they still hadn’t received their product. After a lot of screaming and yelling, and useless communication on slack with their “virtual assistant on slack” and 6 months time was given 25% of my investment back. So after a year and half in dealing with Joe Miles he stole 75% of my money. I gave this company 7,000 dollars and had a major loss because of the Amazon charges and their terrible management of my account, again more than half of my sales where cancelled because they failed to deliver the product over and over. Their answer to my review is such a load of crap they don’t have a clue what they are doing. I complained over and over about their poor management of my account. The stupid virtual assistant on slack was of absolutely no help. Their poor management has now had my store suspended and actually shut down for ever due to their poor management. Don’t believe the rebuttal to my review, they are the worst. Don’t give them a dime.

It looks like there may be some confusion regarding what was paid and what was refunded to you.

You did not “invest” $10,000. Your payment was $3,750, which was allocated strictly toward inventory. You came in through a promotion we were running that waived the service fee upfront as long as clients had funds available for inventory. That promotion brought in a higher-than-expected volume of clients, which unfortunately caused delays in shipping and fulfillment.

When you requested a refund, we explained that we first needed to liquidate your inventory in order to return the funds, and you agreed to this. Following liquidation, a full refund of $3,750 was issued. You confirmed receipt of this refund with your account manager.

Later, after hiring another service provider, you were told that we were the reason Amazon threatened to dispose of your inventory. In reality, all inventory sourced by us had already been removed from your store and liquidated in order to process your refund. This clearly shows that any disposal notice from Amazon had nothing to do with our products or actions. Amazon only issues disposal notices if there is a compliance issue (such as suspected unauthenticated products).

I also provided you with receipts for the products purchased and forwarded them to your new service provider as you requested.

The facts are:
• No $10,000 was ever “invested”.
• You received a full refund.
• All inventory sourced by us was removed and liquidated to fund your refund.
• You were provided with the product documentation you requested.

I’m truly sorry you had a frustrating experience, but this review misrepresents the situation. Given that your payment was fully refunded and documentation provided, we kindly ask that this review be reconsidered or removed.

However we are still willing to help you get the situation with your store figured out.

I paid Miles-Brands to run an Amazon…

I paid Miles-Brands to run an Amazon store in Nov 2023. After the initial time to set everything up, i made my first sale in January 2024. I didn't make another sale until April. It is now November 2024 (1 year later) and I have recouped about a tenth of my initial investment. To top it off, the Slack channel I used to communicate with my rep was cancelled yesterday with no notice and no way to get in touch with them.

I sent this company 10k with the…

I sent this company 10k with the understanding they would create and manage an Amazon store for me. After months of little communication, Miles Brands told me they were refunding my money. I even spoke on the phone with someone who claimed to be the owner. I have waited months and months and still have seen no refund.

This company is not an honest one. There is a history of complaints to the BBB about them. DO NOT trust these guys.
