Brilliant experience with Maple
Bought a Mac G5 from Maple and am very happy. Great service and Charles was very helpful with advice and preparing the computer to link up with my Imacon scanner. I definitely recommend this company.

No one is picking up the phone. I placed my order 12 days ago and paid extra for delivery and still no update.
Update: It seems there was a problem with the BT line. Product is now delivered. The company contacted me and refunded the delivery charge. They apologised for the delay as well. All sorted.

Brilliant company to deal with
Brilliant company to deal with, I have now bought my second mac laptop from them now. ordered my first a few years ago after they pointed me in the right direction of what i needed, and received an email offer a little while ago with a discount for upgrade, gave them a call and now have a touch model mac laptop which is really swanky, less than half the new price with warranty.

Genuinely really pleased as was able to source the macbook I needed as the old one died and I was able to transfer my hard drive across and they talked me through the process of doing this, and then I was able to retrieve my data which I thought may have been lost. Great service guys.

The original laptop i bought from them…
The original laptop i bought from them was sent in horrendous condition despite being classed as grade A refurbished. Charger port was completely broken, start up time was about 4 minutes and the screen was badly discoloured. Spent over a month being ignored then eventually was sent a replacement in better condition. The replacement worked fine for about 4 months but is now completely failing. Ive had nothing but awful experiences with Maple and i would not recommend using them at all. In future the only refurbed Mac id consider purchasing would be directly from Apple themselves. Avoid these guys.

I placed an order for a Macbook, but then later changed my mind and decided to purchase from an iStore instead. I requested a refund and got a very quick response and the money was returned to my card the next day.
Warning - Avoid point blank
Update from last review (29/12/2020)- I did get a refund but only after going about it in a detective fashion which was exhausting - hopefully the company has transformed by now and has more scope to react to customers email within a reasonable amount of time. Once trust is gone its tricky to earn it back. Good luck Maple Uk.

After calling the unit- maple did make contact however convoluted the response was, I feel this would not have happened had I not been a detective - business doesn’t need to be so unpleasant. They did refund although I’m still out the cost of recorded deliveries for “letter of civil rights” and “recorded delivery for return of laptop” which was 12 quid ish, I recall.
I learnt a lot about how not to treat customers and that with all good intentions some companies are struggling. Thanks universe.
Unprofessional, no contact
I purchased a refurbished MacBook a few years ago from Maple UK. The first laptop had a couple of issues within a week of receiving. I contacted them via email and a replacement was sorted within a week.
However, whilst in warranty, my laptop became slow this summer. I contacted Maple via email and they arranged collection quickly. As soon as they had my laptop, all contact stopped. No email replies, no telephone number. After 4 weeks of waiting, I contacted citizens advice and trading standards. A letter was sent and I did receive a replacement.
I would avoid buying from this company. Very unprofessional and highly stressful when relying on a laptop for work or studies.

Customer service is absolutely useless and the (almost £600) laptop I had ordered has yet to arrive. I have sent plenty of emails by now and have so far received a response to 3 of them, everything else gets answered by a nice automated message letting me know my query will be dealt with within 24hours - which is a complete lie as I am still waiting for an answer AND goes against what their website states as a 3 hour answer period.
I initially enquired about delivery times 4 days ago, and was told it would not be delivered until later next week. I then complained saying this was way later than my promised delivery time of two weeks tops and got a prompt response saying Charles had "double checked" and it would now indeed arrive today latest.
Surprise, surprise: it has not and all my emails go completely unanswered or I am being told one would need to double check with "their logistics team" - which is surprising considering Charles clearly has a tracking number for my order, as he was able to tell me before when this would be arriving.
I have asked numerous times for tracking. This was promised to me after I had first asked for it but has yet to be sent to me. I have since lost numerous working days, sitting around at home waiting for a delivery that I'm starting to have the feeling is never meant to come.
AVOID.
UPDATE:
The laptop has now arrived:
- It is dented all over
- Barely charges
- Is extremely slow
- Maple was kind enough to put a password on it without adding a note of what this possibly might be.
Again: AVOID.

Almost exactly the same issues as Jade below - ignored emails, no working phone number, no tracking number and certainly no delivery :(
Am now in contact with my Bank to retrieve funds; I would urge others to do so if in a similar situation.
Update: money has now been refunded.

Please do not use this company. AUGUST 2018- I had a problem with my machine, They have no phone number, a remote office address, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. You will be infuriated with autoresponders, lies, delaying tactics and half hearted disjointed communication. I very rarely leave reviews, but strongly feel that i need to warn people to buy elsewhere even if their deals seem good it is a SMOKE SCREEN and this company is to be avoided at all costs
