Excellent service from start to finish.

​We recently used Macleod & MacCallum for the conveyancing of our new home in Inverness, and we couldn't be happier with the service. A special thanks to Alison Martin, who handled the entire process with such professionalism and care.
​Alison kept us updated every step of the way, ensuring that the settlement went through exactly as scheduled on the 6th of March. She was thorough, approachable, and made what can often be a stressful experience feel completely manageable. We really felt we were in safe hands. Very little correspondence on a relatives will and distribution of it. Have taken 2 years and still no where near the end. Never disclosed fees and just kept stating its a complicated situation. 2 years is far too long and never contacts exectours unless they contact first. Totally disgraceful....... lost so much respect and they need to be made aware, we are their employers, we are paying them for a service and its a service they are failing to deliver.

Waiting interminably for should be a simple enough disbursement of a relative's will.

I've been using Mac&Mac over the past 12yrs for buying & selling properties (A relative used them 15yrs ago in a successful civil court case). Easy to deal with, thorough, & will take on board your concerns. Not the cheapest, but piece of mind is never cheap! Would recommend.

Passed my personal details onto their wealth management affiliate without my permission. When I asked for an explanation they pointed me to their T&C’s which stated they could pass on my details. So I would have needed another lawyer to check Mac and Mac T&C’s.

On fees or notes shame had used them since 2017 but seems has gone to pot

We recently moved from our home in Lancashire to the Black Isle, Inverness. Macleod & MacCallum were recommended. We bought our house 20 years ago and sold it recently. Alison Martin acted on our behalf for the purchase and now for the sale.
We couldn't have had a better service in both cases. Extremely professional in every way, Alison responded to all our questions and fears with speed and efficiency. Our purchase was completed in only 4 weeks and our sale (combined with a purchase in England) finally completed in 13 weeks (which would have been much quicker if the buyer hadn't needed a mortgage - the loan company delaying the process considerably).
Our only meeting with her was the working day before everything was concluded and true to what I have commented, everything was explained, signed and contracts exchanged with a smooth efficiency.

Dreadful correspondence, asked them to look over an important letter that had to be signed and sent away asap. Didn’t hear back for 2 weeks, by then, I had asked for advice elsewhere and sent the letter away.
Poorly detailed prognosis, with mistakes. Ended up going with a bigger firm to represent me. Night and day.

I've had the dubious privilege of knowing both the best and the worst of letting agents and Macleod and MacCallum were certainly the best.

They were until recently the letting agents for the property i rented, communication was always swift, no problem was too small and dealt with quickly and satisfactorily.

When the landlord decided to inform us of his intention to sell the property, Mac and Mac letting agency helped us find another property to rent.

Jane, Sarah-Anne and Karen go above and beyond what is required for their tenants and i'm sure their landlords too.

Very professional and prompt with a property purchase. Highly recommended.
