Nothing but a pretty face.. my experience $24K and 2 years later.
My experience with Luxury Presence over the course of a two-year, ~$24,000 engagement was extremely disappointing and fell materially short of the contractual commitments made during onboarding.
At the outset, I was sold on a comprehensive SEO and content strategy that was supposed to position my website on page one of Google for multiple high-value keywords within 12 months. That outcome was never remotely achieved, and more importantly, there was no measurable, transparent progress along the way to support that objective.
Content delivery was also significantly underperformed. The agreement included four blog posts per month, published weekly. In practice, blogs were delivered at roughly one-third of the promised volume, were clearly AI-generated with minimal customization, and were often posted in bulk on the same day each month—an approach that undermines consistency and is widely understood to be ineffective for organic SEO growth.
Account management was another major failure point. Over two years, I was assigned five different account managers. This constant turnover created communication gaps, lack of continuity, and ultimately a breakdown in accountability. At no point was there a clear, consistent strategy or ownership of results.
What was most concerning, however, was the lack of transparency. Despite ongoing billing of approximately $1,200 per month, there was no ability to walk through tangible SEO improvements on the site via screen share or receive clear documentation of work completed. I was effectively asked to trust that work was being done without any verifiable proof.
At the conclusion of my contract, when I requested to downgrade services, the situation worsened. Previously implemented SEO elements were removed from the site, the downgrade process took approximately five months to complete, and multiple revised contracts had to be issued due to errors. This resulted in significant overbilling that required retroactive correction, which raised serious concerns about internal controls and billing practices.
In its current form, the product delivers a visually appealing template website—but design alone does not drive traffic, rankings, or conversions. Without execution, strategy, and accountability behind it, the value proposition simply does not hold.
That said, there is a viable path forward for the company. With a stable and competent account management structure, transparent reporting, consistent content execution, and real accountability to performance metrics, the platform could be competitive in the space. However, those fundamentals are currently missing.
Given the rapid advancement of AI-driven tools such as Claude and Perplexity AI, the barrier to producing high-quality SEO content and strategy is falling quickly. When paired with poor service and lack of delivery, it increasingly incentivizes professionals to bring these capabilities in-house rather than outsource them.
Bottom line: If you are a broker evaluating website and SEO providers, proceed with caution. A polished front-end does not compensate for a lack of execution behind the scenes.
