Lrs Locksmith 

- Said no callout fee, then tried to charge a "cancellation fee" because I didn't want my door 'hacking' to fit a handle that wasn't the right fit for the door. No idea how much said "cancellation fee" was, as I refused there and then.
- Called head office to dispute cancellation fee, they hung up
- The attending rep would not leave my driveway following the above call. I had to walk away and eventually he went to his car. He sat in his car outside my house until my other half, away from home, called the office and demanded he leave immediately. I was at home on my own with my baby at the time. He spent at least 15 minutes just sat outside my house.
- Then messaged me and attempted to re-agree some work - absolutely no chance.

100% scammers. Should have done my research and read the previous reviews. Nightmare!!!!

I was told the locksmith would arrive within 30 minutes, but it took an hour and a half for them to get to me. Once here, I was told the door couldn’t be unlocked without drilling it, which seemed excessive. The prices were extremely high, and I left feeling completely overcharged and taken advantage of. Customer service was poor, and the locksmith was quite pushy — wouldn’t take no for an answer. I wouldn’t recommend this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Quoted £69.00 to open front door after losing key. Several times the guy was asked - how much to replace lock if it needs drilling and made every excuse to not know until the door was open. Charged £549.60! Single, vulnerable female was pressured to pay for what was a £160.00 job at most

Mega dodgy company - DO NOT USE!

They operate a bait and switch scam. Quote low then make things up to ramp the price. I sent them on their way with £59 call out fee for nothing

Do not use this company ! Quoted £45 calm out charge then tried to charge us £600 after jotting some numbers down randomly on a piece of paper. These are not legitimate workmen with a transparent pricing scheme , they pay for an ad on google but please scroll down to a reputable company and do not use these rip off merchants !

SCAMMERS! STAY AWAY FROM THE COMPANY.

Tried to scam us out of £400, when I said no thank you, he got aggressive and started being racist towards us. He still charged us £45 for the callout. Called another company, who got the job done in 10 minutes and charged £70.

These are scammers.
Im vulnerable after a break in and these men just turn up , not in uniform or kit amf starts saying its 165 and 45 is just the call out charge , i said no thankyou and they kept on but I said no thankyou again and looked at my cctv to make sure it was recording and they left. Im calling the police to let them know and will post this on social media wherever I can. Terrible to make a vulnerable person feel even worse. Avoid avoid avoid

The company LRS in westcliff are quick to send a technician. The technician called to give me a price for a handle without mentioning anything about a mechanism. Had he said that and quoted a price then I would have rejected it. Very expensive, and particularly in a rush to do the job. I would not recommend this company and ask others to be careful.

Absolutely awful service told £45 to change lock then cost £350. Said £165 to drill through the door. Absolutely rip off and took over an hour to come. People stay well clear no not use this company.

SEEMED VERY PLEASANT TO START THEN WENT AWAY WITH OUR WHOLE DOOR LOCKING MECHANISM AND HELD IT TO RANSOM TILL WE PAID FOR IT TO BE REFITTED.

Scammers stay away - they quote a low call out fee and then when they arrive they start adding extra things to the Bill adding up to hundreds of pounds

Quoted us £45 to unlock a door. Started aggressively demanding money to be paid after making us aware apparently we had to pay £100 extra fee for out of hours, something that was not outlined to us.

We broke into our own house and he still demanded to be paid raising his voice and disturbing the neighbours

Quoted £45 to open the door which was only on the latch, so a simple job with the right tools. Guy turns up (without a door opening kit) and says he will have to drill the lock. I say no chance, then he says he ‘might’ be able to open it for £165 + VAT and the £45 + VAT was just for a call out. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, their MO is to mislead and the demand money as they know they have you over a barrel.
