I ordered some perfume a week ago with extra payment to get it to me in 2 days and still nothing, item is apparently 'processing' not happy about this at all... They conveniently don't mention this on the website and also have no contact number, guessing that's because of all the complaints they receive...

A disappointing experience for me I'm afraid. I ordered a 75ml bottle of Lancome Hypnose Senses as a Xmas present. It was at the very good price of £33.92 + p&p. A week later my order was still showing as 'processing' when I logged in. I tried calling them but the number just rang and rang, so I emailed them as was getting concerned i'd been scammed. A couple of days later I received an email from them saying that my item was out of stock and they were refunding the money. They DID refund with no issues, but when I looked on their website I saw they were still selling the same product I had ordered (not out of stock) BUT they had increased the price to £46.28 +p&p. I emailed them to ask about this, but they have not replied. They have also removed their telephone number from the website. It is my belief that they made a mistake with the pricing and decided to refund the money instead of letting me purchase it at the advertised price.

I don't doubt that this is a legitimate company, but their customer service is terrible and if you're hoping to contact them for any reason, then give it up now.

I have just fallen into the hands of THE ESSENCE STORE, an online perfume shop, CRIMINALS!!

After the experience I took the risk and ordered online again instead of buying my perfume in the shop. To be honest it wasn’t really the money, but the fact that I just didn’t want to believe that all online shops are Fraudsters.

And I must say I am very glad I placed my order with you! Super price, original product, prompt service and delivery.

I only wished you had more reviews…because criminals like THE ESSENCE STORE may make it harder for people to trust online companies.
