I had an emergency appt to have My drainage unblocked due to blockage and Leakes and the lovely engineer Phillip Gorman unblocked my pipes was kind and respectful , I would of missed my appt if he hadn’t phoned me and waited patiently as I didn’t hear the door . Great job

Do not trust this company
Do not trust this company. You explain them clearly the issue at hand. And engineer turns up with no proper tools and has to request another engineer to come out next day with the excuse they have limited equipment to open manholes. Instead of paying £ 150 i had to pay double plus extra manhours for a total sum of £ 522.. Do stay well away from these people as they are simply thieves. Rogue traders.. I argued but as all of them are complicit and i didn't need the stress i paid to get rid of them.. But my strong advice is "do not touch or use this Company" as you will burn your fingers.. The company has now denied as per below i don't exist.. Well i have 2 invoices that i can't somehow upload.. 1 proforma invoice PF3407 for £ 180 incl Vat upon which the engineer came out. I told them that the drain underneath the house was blocked and we needed to open the manhole. However for some reason all over sudden the hydraulic equipment to open the manhole was in another van and so they had to come out another day.. Upon which i received another email/invoice for total £ 522.. So i had to pay another £ 342 for the extra hours because they forgot the equipment.. Simple as that. The invoices are from London Drainage Facilities.. not need to deny here online

Mr Wijnholds, thank you for taking the time to send your detailed message. I have now reviewed your concerns, checked call recordings, job updates and spoken to the office team that managed your case.
• Upon arrival our team begun to investigate your issue, located the manhole cover in question causing your issues, but due to the fact it was seized with grout the team recommended a hydraulic lifting kit to avoid the risk of damage. This was explained to you and an appointment agreed for the following morning. Note: Hydraulic lifting kit is not standard equipment for residential/commercial emergency vehicles.
• To help fulfil expectation we even levied a 10% reduction to against teh charge being levied. Simply issued to offer confidence from you to us.
• We sent another team on Saturday 22nd who reattended with specialist hydraulic lifted equipment as agreed/explained.
• The job was successful once access was permitted with the aid of the hydraulic listing equipment to break the seal.
The outcome was successful, you were kept informed of progress, costs. You mention we charged you more because we forgot equipment, that is incorrect, the above detail is in actual fact accurate and based upon recorded factual evidence. I have also listened to the telephone calls between you and my team, our technical managers kept you up to date. You were aware of charges before work started, allowing you the option to decline our proposal. The fee proposal was entirely optional.
Your representation of the events misses critical detail about communication, updates, pre-pricing and your continuous agreements through out, not to mention reductions levied during works a gesture of good will.
We (LDF) work hard to deliver cost effective service, focusing at damage limitation and successful outcomes, it's very rare for LDF to receive negative feedback, but if we do, we're duty bound to explore the journey of the job and conclude the matter with a fair and accurate response based upon: Telephone calls, Messages, Job updates, engineers reports and site images recorded during works.
I'm ever so sorry on this occasion you feel teh service provided was poor. We'll learn what we can and always attempt to improve.

Charlie
Charlie is the name of the young man who came to see the drainage problem that we had in our sink and bathroom. He was exemplary from the start. Very polite and very helpful. He was diligent and asked me if I needed to ask any questions and I felt very at ease. I would recommend Charlie for any job whatsoever as he is an example to many others of how a work person should be especially those who visit in individuals who live on their own and are quite vulnerable. Thank you Charlie for all the work you did and all the help and information you gave. Much appreciated and problem solved.

arrived late and didn't deliver - but then followed up
arrived late, didn't bring correct equipment even though they were briefed by us at the point of our making the booking. engineer stayed 5 mins to review only. was charged a full hour at £150 plus VAT.
Following the above, the company was very responsive, revised the bill and offered a discount going forward.

While the engineer attended with the equipment discussed at the point of booking, jetting could not be carried out on this occasion due to the risk of sewage splatter inside the property.
A site assessment was therefore completed, and further recommendations were made to resolve the issue correctly and safely.
As a gesture of goodwill, we reduced the original call-out charge by 75%.
Additionally, we have confirmed that should you proceed with any further quoted works we would explore a further reduced costs.

Kitchen pipe unblocking
I had Jay down today. Was absolutely dedicated to cleaning the pipes. Very porfessional and politm He cleaned any mess he made. Also went as for as getting 3 machines out to check the main stack. One of which was a camera to make sure the drilling machine had actually cleared the blockage. Couldn't have asked for more. Every other company that has come hasn't been able to do a fraction of what he's done. And we've had around 3 others contractors come out now

Liam Byrne was extremely friendly and…
Liam Byrne was extremely friendly and professional from the moment he arrived.
He introduced himself politely and took the time to listen carefully as I explained the problems with my blocked toilet and bath basin. He quickly diagnosed the issue, clearly talked me through what he planned to do, and worked efficiently without creating any mess.
He started in the bathroom, used an unblocking machine and a camera down the drain, then went outside to inspect the manhole to make sure everything was completely clear. He tested both the toilet and basin several times and even went upstairs to my neighbour’s flats to confirm everything was flowing properly.
Throughout the visit, he was respectful of my home, patient in answering my questions, and his positive attitude made a stressful situation much easier to handle. I would highly recommend Liam and his company to anyone needing reliable, professional and courteous plumbing help.
