The Most Unprofessional Moving Company We've Ever Used
I strongly recommend avoiding Logistic Freight Group.
Over the course of our lives, this was our **37th move**, and without question it was **the worst customer service experience we have ever had**. We know what to expect from a professional moving company, and this company fell far short of even basic standards.
Our experience was defined by arrogance, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability from the operations manager. He was extremely rude and accused us of demanding services that the company supposedly did not provide. The problem was that the services we requested were clearly included in our signed contract.
Only after we told him to actually read the contract did he backpedal. Even then, he never apologized, admitted he was wrong, or acknowledged how inappropriate his accusations had been.
The situation became even worse when we asked the crew to unpack our belongings, another service specifically included in our contract. After two employees called the operations manager to confirm our request, he instructed them to leave the job immediately. We were never informed of his decision or given any explanation. The workers simply packed up and left without notifying us and leaving a significant portion of the contracted work unfinished.
When confronted about it later, the operations manager tried to justify his actions by claiming the unpacking had merely been "rearranged" for another day. That excuse is simply not credible. We were never consulted, never agreed to reschedule, and were never even informed that any change had been made. Rearranging a contracted service requires the customer's knowledge and consent. Neither occurred.
As a direct result of his decision, the unpacking work was left for us to complete ourselves. My wife is 65 years old, has undergone two back surgeries, and is currently dealing with a dislocated disc. I am 71 years old. We specifically paid for unpacking because we are not physically in a position to do that work ourselves. Instead, we were left to do exactly what we had hired and paid the company to do.
This was not a simple misunderstanding. It was a complete management failure. The operations manager didn't know his own company's contract, falsely accused us of requesting services we weren't entitled to, ordered his employees off the job without notifying us, later attempted to rewrite the facts by claiming the work had merely been "rearranged," and never accepted responsibility or offered so much as an apology.
Everyone makes mistakes. Professional companies acknowledge them, apologize, and make things right. This company did none of those things.
After 37 moves, we have dealt with movers all over the United States and internationally. We have never experienced customer service this poor. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
