We've been using Locrating extensively in the past few months while exploring where to move to with our young family. The site made it super easy to compare schools (both primary and secondary) and see socio-economic and crime ratings of an area. We visited so many of the neighborhoods and towns we checked online, and compared the info from the site to areas we know well, and this helped us understand how to translate the value from the site to what it means on the ground. After some experience it feels like you can glean loads of info from using the site! I would highly recommend it if you're trying to assess your next move and prioritise schools and safety. The cost of subscription is nothing compared to any of the costs involved in moving a house anyway.

I cannot recommend Locrating enough. We used their platform to narrow down which schools to tour and to identify which state schools were truly worth exploring. The depth of educational statistics and catchment area insights is far superior to any other tool I’ve found.

It gave us the confidence to purchase our flat in NW5, knowing exactly where we stood regarding catchment risk.

It’s clearly a labor of love from a dedicated family business. Truly an essential tool for any parent or homebuyer in the UK!

The website is very accurate. Has got true knowledge which is updated frequently and the data is correlant when compared to the ones in gov.uk. I could be able to find a proper school which matched our needs.

Really helpful info, really helped me narrow down schools and choose one in a new county in time before tricky summer holiday period when it's harder to transfer. Knowing catchment areas number of pupils and general results was very constructive.

Locrating was an incredibly useful site for us. We was searching for a new place to live based on schooling and we was living overseas at the time. It gave us social / economic information on areas and school reports all in one place. The ability to add the Crome add-on (sorry I don’t know it’s official description ) allowed me to be on rightmove and have all the information on the same page. I think it was worth the subscription fee ! A must need for returning expats who can’t view areas and schools in person and helps pinpoint areas you may potentially want to live in!!

Very useful site, has all the data you need for finding a neighborhood or a school. I purchased the 3 month membership, which came with a ton of useful features and doesn't auto-renew, which is perfect for the length of a house hunt.

Subscribed for about six months while moving house. Used Chrome plugin for Rightmove and it was pretty seamless - much easier than tracking down the various data websites for schools, society and environment separately. Well worth the rolling monthly subscription in the general context of the expense of a house move. Highly recommended and would use again (though hopefully not moving again for some time!).

This is an excellent website which gives you so much information at your fingertips to help make that important decision. Really intuitive and easy to use. It has really helped us.

Locrating is amazing! To have all these data sets in one place makes an already stressful job way more manageable. Plus, I had some queries and reached out to Lewis (without expecting a response to be honest) and he has been so incredibly helpful. It guided me through the choice of primary schools in Richmond Borough in 2015 and, now again, through boarding schools across England, a completely different use case.
It's my first place of reference for schools in England and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future.
