Most HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PLANET. I ordered two things from them, a frame and also a table center piece for Christmas. Received ONLY ONE TRACKING NUMBER… ended up not receiving the order. It got somewhat lost. They told me that both of the orders were shipped out to me on different days.. which is NOT TRUE? Because I received only one tracking.. not two… then when I told them that I never received anything they told me there’s nothing they can do. They wouldn’t give me a replacement, nor would they refund me the money. Told me to go to my bank and dispute the transaction. This is sickening. I’ll never shop from them again.

They have earned a “needs to improve.”…

They have earned a “needs to improve.” I ordered a desk and file cabinet in natural wood tone and they sent a dark walnut. For some reason, even though it’s two pieces, they send it all in one heavy awkward box. I reached out via email -no reply. And when I called their (so called) customer service, I was given the option of entering my phone number to receive a call back…guess what? No call back. So now I face the prospect of lugging this unnaturally hefty box somewhere for return…but I dont know because they’ve never replied to my email or call. Save your sanity, skip Kirkland’s.

No more shopping at Kirkland’s

I tried to order the same item, a clock, 4 times. First time I received a picture frame. Second it was “lost” third time it was broken and 4th time they cancelled my order. They said it was because they “couldn’t find one” yet it’s still on their website a week later. When I discuss these issues with Kirkland’s employees, in store and by phone, all I get is I’m sorry. After the 4th time I expect more than that. There are too many other places to shop with much better customer appreciation. I have spent a lot of money in this store. Not anymore!

Questionable e-commerce business…

Questionable e-commerce business practices. Ordered item 09.29 with shipping notice of 5-8 days. On 09.30 received email stating item shipped with expected delivery date of “by EOB 10.06”. Up through evening of 10.06 tracking remain unchanged but never received item. Contacted customer service 4 times for update: never received return communication. Call this morning to hear—“FedEx has 15 business days to pick up item and process for delivery AND if they do not pick up in that time period I can receive a refund or I can REORDER the item! Wait, what??? In the meantime Kirklands has received my money and I’ve no item or promise of an item to show for it. Why no immediate refund? Why do they give FedEx 15 days to pick up item for delivery? Why do they say an item has shipped, provide a delivery date when clearly there is none? The worst retail, e-commerce experience I’ve ever had. Will never purchase from Kirkland online again!

REFUND STILL NOT RECEIVED

Ordered a Mirror online for Store Delivery as they could not for some reason deliver this to my home. It came, was too big for my vehicle therefore i did a store return. I would have expected it to be refunded to my credit card immediately or within a reasonable amount of time. It still has not been refunded, called customer service they are completely inept.
I love the store, but i would NEVER order online from this company every again.

Scam ordering process!

I tried ordering something online from my cellphone. On the payment page I entered my credit card number and hit “place order” and it said that I needed to correct the errors in red. I didn’t see anything highlighted in red, but stupid me I re-entered my card number again. The same message came up so I unfortunately did it a third time and got the same message! So I gave up but then I logged into my bank account and saw that kirklands had debited my account 3 times!!! I checked my email for an order confirmation from kirklands but got nothing! So I called them. They said my order didn’t go through and it would send a request over to get the charges reversed!! They said you can’t order things from your phone using certain search engines like Safari!!! What kind of crappy company doesn’t let you order from a cellphone!!! And now I need to wait for these charges to reverse even though the money is already deducted from my available funds! They said it could take 3-5 business days for it to get reversed! I will never ever attempt another order from this company again!!

The online reps don’t care

The online reps don’t care. It took 2 days to get through and when I asked a question about a (not shipping) but a (delivery charge) i was told to go on the website and click on a ? Mark for the answer it was stupid. After several attempts and not getting reasonable answers I told the girl to remove me from their loyalty program and I’d just go to Hobby Lobby. She was happy to process my request she said.
Good riddens! And businesses wonder why we order from Amazon. Because we don’t have to deal with attitudes!

I received a text from Kirkland's regarding their Memorial Day Sale, I don't know what happened to Kirkland's. I have ordered from them for years, they have the absolute ugliest items online. No thank you

no order or update after 2 weeks

I placed an online order on 1/11/2020 with an expected ship date of 01/15/2020. The FedEx tracking number provided just says "pending" and has not been updated since 11/12/2020. I've called Kirkland's, sent follow-up emails, and have chatted with an online rep to have them all tell me there is no update on my order. The latest explanation for not receiving my order is that FedEx is now holding the packages for up to 3 weeks and if I do not receive an update by 3 weeks then they can issue a refund. When I spoke to a Kirklands customer service rep last week they told me that FedEx was holding packages for 15 days and if I don't hear back within 15 days then the order could be cancelled. It has been a nightmare dealing with this company. I don't even want my order anymore as I doubt I'm ever going to receive it. I just want to cancel the order and never have to deal with this awful company ever again.

I wish I could leave a comment without a star! And I wish I had read these comments before I ordered online. I placed my online order, three days later the shipping label was printed. But it is now 4 weeks later and my order still hasn't left it shipping location. WTH! Never ever again!!! Horrible customer service, why do you even offer online shopping??

This company is horrible

This company is horrible, I would never order from there again. My items took about 4 weeks to arrive and every single item came completely damaged. My candles were completely smashed and I cut myself on the glass. I called and they said I need to return the items (minus the smashed candles) back for a replacement or refund. I'm still waiting on a refund for my items.

Save your money!

Where do I begin. Cute stuff? Sure. Will you ever receive it? Probably not. Placed an order a month ago, got zero communication on items or any updates for that matter. I have called customer service 7+ times to discuss my order. Now a month later, 2 items are no longer in stock and the rest of the items are in limbo somewhere without any updated tracking label (FedEx tracking label provided a week ago and the package has not moved). Hit or miss with customer service representatives and corporate also gives the runaround. Don't bother with the callback option, they will get to you the next day. Total waste of time. Save your money!

6 weeks and counting, no order

I placed an order August 18th, and still have yet to receive my order. I called the store (this is not their fault), and it won't be in this week. Which now means the earliest I could get it IF it's on the truck is Thursday, October 8th. 7.5 weeks later. I have emailed 4 times to customer service and received one response. Poor poor customer service. I would have never placed an order with them if I had known I would not receive my order and get no communication about it.

My son and I went into Kirkland’s In Gadsden Alabama tonight unaware they would be closing in 10 minutes we were rudely informed as we entered by a employee I said okay we are just going to make a quick trip through since my son just purchased his 1st house. Neither me
Or my son had a face mask on I have COPD and am not able to wear one after about 3 minutes in the store we were informed by the same rude employee that had her face mask under her nose that we would have to leave because we didn’t have a mask on we were never asked if there was a reason we couldn’t wear a mask nothing. My son is a detective and all was recorded on his body cam. We left the store but as we were leaving We noticed there was another employee with no face covering on at all. We would not have made them stay over there 7:00 closing time they lady was very disrespectful and was bothered that we were there so close to closing time. Both employees were African American and we are Caucasian makes me wonder if we were African American would we have been treated differently. We may turn in the video footage to a lawyer due to feeling as we were discriminated against. Very disappointed on this conduct I have spent a ton of money at this store over the years NEVER again.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

I don’t recommend getting things shipped from them. It took a month to receive my shipment and my $100 item came broken. They put my fragile order in a box without any protection. I’ve been in contact with them for an additional two weeks and they still haven’t made it right and have been very rude ☹️

I bought a $140 floor mirror on 7/28/20, and after 3.5 weeks of "processing" they canceled my order out of the blue. I've tried emailing and calling but I'm unable to get through to anyone regarding this issue. Stay away from their online store if you ever want to see the things you buy

No store credit after 60 days in times of pandemic!

I would not even give one star unless I had too. I purchased a mirror from the Clovis, Ca. location around 6 months ago prior to the Covid-19 outbreak and closure of all shopping malls. Within that time we tried to put it up according to the instructions on the back of the mirror and the piece that was to be screwed into the wall fell off. We tried to return it recently and were told we could only exchange it for merchandise in the store. I was not expecting a refund but they did not even offer store credit. The woman that was trying to help us was incredibly nice but the Asian gentleman was extremely rude and disrespectful. I would love to shop and purchase items in your store as it looks as if you have a beautiful selection of merchandise but I refuse to EVER walk into one of your stores in the future.

Poor customer service; will never order from Kirkland's again and would DEFINITELY not recommend.

The day after placing an online order with Kirkland's, the same items were advertised at 20% discount. I had not even received the merchandise, but called Kirkland's to inquire about price adjustment. Customer rep indicated that seasonal items are not subject to price adjustment and apologized. Save your apologies, Kirkland's, other stores exhibit more customer service and will honor such price adjustments. I politely told the rep to note in her file that I may return the items, I will unsubscribe from Kirkland's website, I will make no future purchases and I will share my experience. That is the purpose of this post. I would not recommend Kirkland's.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I purchased a wall decoration for above my television. I wasn't sure if it was the right size but, since I was there, I decided to buy it and try it. I figured if it was too large, I was able to return it without an issue. Upon taking it home, I realized it was way to large and there was no where in the house for me to put it (things tend to look smaller in the store).

I went to the store to return the sign only to be told it was a "green tag" item and I was unable to return it. The cashier told me when I bought the decoration that the employee should have told me but she was unable to return it. Had the original employee told me I couldn't return this, I would have went home and measured first. I am now stuck with an item that I cannot use and have no one to give it to.

I contacted customer support to see if this could be resolved only to basically be told "oh well, they should have told you but they didn't." To be told green tag items are not returnable until after I purchase the item is absolutely unacceptable. I have never purchased a green tag item from Kirklands before so I had no idea these items were nonreturnable. I would have even been okay with store credit to make up for the employees lack of knowledge. I will NEVER shop at a Kirkland's store again. Extremely rude customer service that are not interested in helping.
