Great little independent Irish bookstore I discovered since Brexit. They usually have great prices and shipping to EU countries is only 1 EUR per book. They pack their books very well. Delivery time is a bit longer than some other bookstores as they don’t have many books in stock. If the book is marked “ships quickly” that means it is in stock and they usually dispatch it next working day.

We ordered some audio cds at the last minute and they were sent so promptly. Our little girls are thrilled and we are looking forward to listening to them on our long car journeys that lie ahead. There was also such a wonderful selection of products on offer. We will definitely be shopping with Kenny’s again!

My first order from Kennys arrived today and I'm very happy. The books arrived to Latvia within 9 days – shipped via An Post, delivered by Expresspasts. All books were packaged very carefully inside the cardboard box which was sealed tightly. As for the order processing: you'll always see the estimate time for each book when placing the order. Allow some extra days as they might need those to locate a specific book. The communication was prompt and easy.

Top service. Courteous and quick communication. Cheap postage costs (EUR 1.50). Speedy delivery to UK (2 working days, including day of posting). My book was on backorder, so processing took a bit longer, but got there in the end.

Books ordered December 11th and within guide time for Christmas delivery as stated in website. It’s now Christmas Eve and the order is still coming up as ‘in processing’ on website. No email updates either. Hugely disappointing.

I love this online bookseller. I prefer to buy Irish but fed up paying ridiculously high prices to a well known Irish retailer. Found this seller & have purchased from them numerous times, good website with efficient search, good prices with free delivery & a great selection. Delivery not super fast but arrives in a few days.

It takes about two weeks for shipment to Lithuania, and they're a bit slow to send out some books after placing an order. That being said, shipping is way cheaper than Amazon, prices are good, and there's no VAT to worry about. After Brexit this became my go-to place to buy graphic novels.

I bought a book from Kenny's as it was advertised as a "01" first edition, thinking it was a 1st impression, 1st edition. It wasn't. They seem to be passing off a variety of books as proper first editions when they aren't, and I find this extremely annoying.

I've ordered twice from Kenny's bookshop and both times my order came within a week and delivery is free!
They also have books that are hard to find in a lot of shops.

I had ordered only one book, I received it 3 weeks later. It's very slow. I'd rather pay more than 1 € about ship in order to receive it quickly.

Ordered a book 2 weeks ago still no sign of it. Hardly believe it takes two weeks to post a book.

I ordered a book from Kennys back in November. Through no fault of theirs, the book was delayed in shipping. It took so long that we (me and Kennys) thought it had been lost. Free of any additional charges, they sent me a replacement copy which arrived fairly quickly.

As a follow-up, the original copy arrived soon around the time of the replacement copy so I ended up with two books for the price of one. Kennys offered to let me keep the second copy for free, although I will be sending them payment and gifting the book to another person.

Their communication was excellent and they were very generous in handling a situation that was not their fault at all.

I ordered a book from Kennys Bookshop through Amazon back in early November 2020. When I still had not received the book by mid-February, I contacted Kennys. They offered to reimburse the cost of the book and apologized for the delay although this was none of their doing but very much an issue with the postal system and delays due to Covid. The book ended up arriving in the mail in March and Kennys graciously offered it to me. Now, that is what I call good customer service. I will definitely order from them again and have no problem recommending this business to others.

In November I ordered a hard to find book from Kennys as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately it did not arrive in time. I was in touch with Kennys and they were always gracious. The book was delivered this week, and it seems that the delay was due to the overwhelmed postal services in Ireland and Canada. The staff there have been great and I would order from them again.

I have ordered a few times through Kenny's bookshop and I've been pleased with their service. School books have arrived when ordered and any other book I have ordered has also arrived, too. I took a star off for wait time, though. Books can be a little delayed in arriving with no explanation unless a query is made. I understand Brexit caused delays but an e-mail to update customers on the situation would have been nice.

Kenny’s followed up with me a couple
of times over a week. I was quite impressed by their customer service.
The book arrived shortly after. It was not Kenny’s fault....simply high order volume and Covid.

I ordered a book over a week ago, I got no dispatch email so I called today to cancel the book as I urgently need it for college. I called their helpline and to save anyone else's time (as I spent an hour trying to call them), there is only one person answering the phone. Apparently it's only one person answering the emails as well, so their customer service is all but non existent. She wasn't helpful either, saying she could not cancel my order. I was trying to support local by shopping at this website but their service has been absolutely terrible. They cannot manage the volume of online orders and shouldn't be attempting to do so as this leaves very unsatisfied customers waiting for a long time. Avoid Kenny's. It's terrible.

TERRIBLE SERVICE - AVOID !!!!! I placed an order back in November for book I was intending to add to Xmas presents. After over 2 weeks when I haven't heard from them I queried and they told me that the book weren't in stock so they didn't action the order. After I cancelled the order I only got partial refund and still waiting for the rest (mid January). Absolutely pathetic !

Kennys may be an excellent bookstore but as an online service they are woefully inadequate. Having ordered an item I thought to be a book actually turned out to be an audio CD due to lack of description on the order page. I returned the item via An Post tracking and waited for either an acknowledgement of receipt or refund. After three weeks I sent a query with the tracking number and they issued a refund for the item stating their online service was overwhelmed and backlogged. It made me wonder that if there wasn't a tracking number would a refund ever been forthcoming. Kennys didn't refund my return expenses even though their website descriptions are inadequate. When this was brought to their attention they said they would pass the suggestion to improve descriptions to their IT department. Kennys online may be a work in progress but as an internet service it doesn't even pass the lowest bar of adequacy. Stick to the bookshop.
