Before I ordered from Junie’s website, I checked online for reviews. I found none so I ordered from them. When my first bag arrived, almost 3 wks from when I ordered it, I rechecked for reviews and found Trust Pilot’s reviews. I was horrified to see the rating (1.9) and read all of angry customers reviews. So this morning, I sent an email to Junie’s Boutique. This was my email:

Good morning. I received my Kim’s Masterpiece/Classic Bag week before last and waited to reach out to you until I received my Lorena’s Modern Chic/Stylish Leather Bag.
I want to express my dismay and anger over my Kim bag. First, in an email I asked if you could make this bag for me in your “brown” color as shown in your brown Clara Vintage Crossbody Bag, instead of the ugly mustard color shown on your website. “Sophie” assured me you could but when I received it, it was the ugly mustard color. And it’s not even leather. Just some unknown material. I love the style but will never use this bag.

So when I received the Lorena bag, I was delighted that the bag SEEMS to be leather as it smells and feels like leather. This is a Christmas gift for my daughter.

Before I purchased from you, I looked online for reviews but couldn’t find any. After I received my cheap fake Kim bag, I found reviews on Trust Pilot and your rating is a 1.9.
All the reviews I read were made by angry customers who were scammed by you. And customers mentioned the same scam websites offering bags with same history of the owners retiring, blah, blah, blah. Do the names Grace and Joan ring a bell? All pictures of “owners” appear to be AI.
So I needed to wait until I calmed down to send you this email. Feel sure you laugh all the way to the bank when unsuspecting American customers purchase from you. Shame on you and one day, you’ll reap what you sow.

I’ve learned my lesson after being scammed by this corrupt company, and hope you have too. And from now on, I’ll always check TrustPilot’s reviews before buying.

I purses two purses and once I received them the drama started. The small bag smelled like fish really really bad and the other one is color orange bright orange. These items were not the items I picked on line. I called for a refund and they refused but the bank did get my money back. This is s SCAM.

Yep, I fell for it, too. I could’ve done better at TJ Maxx. Also, the same group is marketing their bags under the name Joan’s Bags. Websites are identical.

Products are not what the web boutique describes. Nothing is made in the USA; it's all fake and plastic to look like leather. No one responds to your emails, so you're stuck with what you got junk.

As if receiving inferior merchandise were not enough, they have now sent me return instructions (no label) to send it to China at my expense. This "Homegrown" one-woman store is a huge scam and I have leared a valuable lesson

Yes, Igot scammed as well. I had been eying a particular purse then it went on sale for $59 purchased one on sale for $59. I thought the pics of her and her family didn’t set well. But I purchased anyhow.Said it would ship the next day. After waiting over a week I finally was able to get a tracking number only to find out it was coming from China. Yep, all those pic were AI. Plus the bag seemed like pleather rather than leather. I will not purchase from Facebook again unless I can contact the seller prior to purchase.

I would caution anyone that might be considering buying anything from any of these website. Sure they claim a " FULL REFUND" however, you must return your purchase to a foreign country with no guarantee that you will get your refund and you just might not ever see your bag again.

I fell for the website too. I looks so good and authentic...I should have checked first but I am a fan of leather goods.
The bags look ok...I am not sure what material they are...I will probably have to keep them(I bought three) and not spread the word around I did not check the company first. I was suspicious because my bags came from Commerce, which is a warehouse area in Los Angeles.

Can I give negative stars? OMG such a scam but got to give their marketing company credit for creating an overwhelmingly convincing website. Long time artisan closing down with few items left after years of Handmade Leather items. I bought into it 2xs send one handbag as a 75th birthday present. When my handbag arrived with China tags it was pretty obvious I was scammed. Item was neither leather or handmade but cheap knockoff pleather. Company offered discount to keep and advised return to China would be up to 60% of cost to return. I ve disputed with my bank and reported company both to FTC and BBB for fraudulent advertising. Learn by my mistake.

Got a bag. Too large. Asked to return for a refund. They offered me 10% to keep bag. Then 20%. Still want to return. Say it has to go to China and I pay. Label on original package says it came from California .Still trying to get refund

I got scammed by Junie Boutique. It is advertised online, that she is retiring and selling her inventory. Her stock is advertised as leather and it is some very cheap vinyl that is used instead. Of course, there is no address or phone number to contact this business. When I pulled up the confirmation details with the tracking info, it came directly through mainland China to the US by way of JFK, sent to ABE and delivered to me. It is complete junk and have disputed it with my credit card company. I strongly advise to avoid this company along with Joan's bags because they are one of the same. Different name but same spiel. Joan is retiring, Blah, Blah, Blah........

the handbag was advertised as leather however it was the cheapest plastic fake ever. even the clasp was substandard. I would have return, but no return info was supplied. I was scammed out of 54.00

This is the same people that had Grace Bags as well as some other iterations of same. It is a scam that changes names frequently to hide their true identity. They claim to be closing but they are only selling cheap plastic bags as "genuine leather". Don't be fooled. I fell for the Grace bags con and when you get the product they say you have to dent it back to China and pay the shipping. Total Scam. Don't buy into it, you'll regret it.

This company advertises itself as a female leather bag maker who is retiring. It is not. Yesterday I discovered a second female leather bag maker dorothysfinalbags.com who is also retiring. Her inventory is the same as the junio inventory. I dont' think the bags purchased are actual leather. The return address is a warehouse: 2340 S. Eastern Ave. Commerce CA 90040. I believe these products are from China. Beware these lovely ads.
