100% scam. They don't even try to hide it. The Junie's label was carelessly slapped on top of something in Chinese. There are no returns. If you contact them they try to get you to agree to forego a return, for which they offer as much as a 15% refund. At which point they stop answering emails. Is there any remedy other than this review?

My husband ordered for me what was stated and shown online as a leather, hand stitched bag on sale for $59.99. The ad totally misrepresents the product. On receipt, it arrived in a soft pack with no packing to protect the shape and construction of the bag. It's obviously a fake and I believe there is no "Junie B" who is closing her business. This is a scam as do many others have stated. I contacted the seller and requested a full refund for stated reasons and was informed that they do not send return labels and I would have to pay all costs including fees to China, which would amount to 60-60% of the cost of the item. They first offered 10% refund not to return the item, and 2 days later offered 20% refund with no return
This is totally unacceptable and I will not return without full refund and a sh ok shipping label provided to me. I have filed a dispute with my bank and let them investigate. PLEASE don't fall for this scam. I am too trusting and should have checked the reviews. My husband and I are senior citizens and he had ordered this for me for Christmas. We can't afford to lose money like this. Someone needs to put these crooks out of business!

This is a total scam. I realized it immediately after I ordered 3 bags. I contacted the company to cancel order and was told they were already being processed but that I could return them if I was not satisfied. The bags arrived and they are cheap, stinky plastic! And guess what? If I want to return them I have to pay shipping to China. Luckily, after I was not able to cancel the order, I put in a dispute on my credit card so payment was stopped! Please do not fall for this scam!

I'd give it ZERO stars. I bought one Lorena's Modern Chic | Stylish Leather Bag as a gift, and then purchased another because they sent a coupon for additional discount. When they arrived, I was surprised they're cheap vinyl bags—not handcrafted at all. I requested a return label as stated on their return policy. All they'll do is let me keep the bags and they'll refund 10%. I disputed the charge with my Chase card. TOTAL SCAM. Don't fall for it!

As all other reviews state, the advertising is false. The merchandise is nothing like the description or photos given by the vendor. After requesting return form and address, I was offered 10% return of the price I paid, but no other return information was given. I thanked them for their offer and requested return form and address a second time and was given a shipping address in China and an offer of 20% return of the price I paid. I wrote a third email informing them of my intention to report them as frauds and scammers. The response I received was obviously created by AI, very apologetic, but saying they have no warehouse in the US and all returns had to be made to the address in China. I know from a previous similar experience that the shipping cost is as much or more than the purchase price. I didn't report the previous experience, but I'm reporting this to the Federal Trade Commission and to econsumer.gov. The ad originally appeared on my Weather Channel app, and disappeared the next day. This kind of fraud has to stop and people made aware of this kind of scam so other people don't suffer financial losses they cannot afford.

Fake Junie, fake leather, fake US address, fake UK business - it's all in china.
I'm ashamed to admit that I fell for it - please be careful!

Follow-up 1/21/2026 --> Because I contacted my credit card company right away, they temporarily held payment to the company. After five weeks or so the bank notified me that they permanently held the charge. So I have crap plastic purses to give to Goodwill!

Products are ABSOLUTELY NOT leather. They sent me a cheap...not even leather like...purse. You can't return them unless you're willing to pay postage and tariffs.
They will offer you 10% of your purchase price.
HUGE SCAM!!

AVOID BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS SCAM ARTIST. Not hand made by the woman on the advertisement. All items coming from outside the USA. Probably cheap crap from China made by machine and not by hand. Very deceptive advertising. Not 5/6 days delivery as claimed on the ads. We ordered several items and who knows where they are located and when or if they will be received. Shameful, dishonest seller. STAY AWAY. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

Have been trying to order from “Junie” and luckily my credit card was not being accepted….the card was definitely good! They kept denying it and told me to use another card, I did and got the same response. My cards and my credit are fine! So, my orders did not go through. I have learned once again to read the reviews and do my research before spending hard earned money on a scam. So do your research people!

While reading a Science Magazine article, I saw this leather bag website advertising at the bottom of the page. I suspected it could be fake, but went to it anyway and lo and behold everything about it screams: “Stay away!” The 78-year old woman looking like a gray haired 45 y.o. Should be your first clue. Searching her up next yielded nothing, but this fake sales website. Buyers beware and don’t fall for these scams.

Total scam! The "handmade leather bag" is cheapest machine-made plastic! Website looks so good, but the product is fake. Do not fall for it!

BEWARE!!! As all other reviewers, I reiterate... Junie boutique is a total scam! The company and workers are Chinese, the products are NOT handmade from quality leather, and there is NO SUCH PERSON as Junie, an American looking middle aged woman in leather apron who has just retired. Total fake, all of it!

I fell for the Junieboutique ad. 30 days return policy? Ha! Return to China - not Chicago! 60% of cost to return and you will probably never get your $ back. I am not buying anything online unless I do research. I am sick of being scammed by China! How can we stop this from happening? Do your research and put them out of business!

Received my $80 bag yesterday and it definitely is not leather as stated on the Junie Boutique website. It is cheap vinyl and has cheap zippers all over it. Very flimsy and not sturdy like leather. Folds in half when you pick it up with anything inside. Retirement sale my butt. I should have know as soon as my credit card company sent an email that I had made a foreign transaction on my card. Total scam.
