Job Duck is an incredible company! Definitely a great place to work

Job duck is a scam especially in South Africa. I went through the whole process but I have been stuck on the matching stage where they keep promising new clients but nothing. It went from them communicating with me once a week to nothing at all I have sent several emails asking for an update but nothing.

Very Disappointing Experience I had!
I recently had a disappointing experience with Job Duck's hiring process. Despite completing all requirements, including an interview and follow-ups, my application was halted due to WiFi issues. Initially, I informed Fernanda about my plans to upgrade my WiFi package upon starting work. She acknowledged this. However, when I ran the WiFi test, it failed (as expected, since I hadn't upgraded yet). Job Duck then gave me a 5-day ultimatum to upgrade, without considering the additional expense or the uncertainty of the job offer.
I took proactive steps, contacting my service provider and selecting a suitable package based on Job Duck's specifications.
On Monday midnight, I received an email stating that my application was declined, despite upgrading my WiFi package as requested.
I had invested in the upgrade, relying on the assumption that meeting the WiFi requirements would progress my application. The rejection email came as a shock, especially after being instructed to re-run the test (and because I passed everything else that was required of me).
I'm disheartened by the lack of empathy and understanding shown by Job Duck. The upgrade has left me with additional debt, which is a significant financial burden.
Fernanda’s response simply citing policy doesn't address my concerns. I feel Job Duck has been inconsiderate, leading me through a costly and time-consuming process. Rather than requiring costly upgrades upfront, consider allowing new hires to begin training and working while earning a salary. Include a contractual stipulation granting a reasonable timeframe (e.g., 30-60 days) for employees to upgrade their WiFi.
To reiterate, I requested clarification on the reason for my application decline: was it solely due to WiFi issues or other factors? The vagueness of their emails and WhatsApp messages has left me uncertain.
Furthermore, I enquired about:
1. Eligibility to apply for other Job Duck positions.
2. Whether my resume and information will be kept on file for future considerations. (If you go back to my Interview with Victor- if I remember correctly he stated that even if I don’t get the job I applied for at least Job Duck has the interview and my resume to send to other clients for employment for me- I just needed Fernanda or your recruitment team to confirm this).
Despite reaching out to both Fernanda and the recruitment team, I've been met with silence.

Job Duck has an award winning work culture. As a 100% remote company it allows you to work from the comfort of your own home.

I've been with Job Duck for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The people here are fantastic, everyone is supportive and friendly. Working from home is awesome; it allows me to maintain a healthy work/life balance. Plus, I save time and money by not having to commute.

I applied for a job with Jobduck. I waited an entire month to get a match only for them to come back to me and inform me that they are not able to employ me. Their process is long and after the training they then inform you that you can sometimes wait up to 3 months in order to get matched with an employer. This is not mentioned during the training or the hiring stages. Very disappointing!!

Pretty good number of available jobs but employers take a very long time to get back

Working as an Onboarding Specialist at Job Duck has been a great experience. The company truly values its employees and promotes a positive, inclusive work environment. My role involved guiding new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring they felt welcomed and supported from day one.
And my team is amazing, they are very supportive and incredibly collaborative.

Is a company that takes care of their employees and impulse everyone to be better and have a work-life balance.

Working here has been an amazing experience. This is an incredible team and work from home is the best thing that can happens to an individual. I really wish to everybody get a job like this. This company makes feel you like at home and you always have support when you need it. We are one team.

El proceso de aplicación es muy largo y te hace perder demasiado el tiempo para que luego te digan que no quieren continuar, un gran proceso de aplicación tan engorroso merece un feedback mas y detallado, pero al parecer les da pereza proporcionarlo y para colmo PAGAN POCO. no vale la pena aplica aquí, se creen la última coca cola del desierto.

The culture in Job Duck is diverse and the company always strive to improve, not only the processes but the overall experience of the Clients and employees. Working for Job Duck has truly helped me overcome my weaknesses and better myself in any possible way!

the environment is amazing the people who I work with are special and the company always looks after us.

JobDuck does not care about their employees, they do not pay according to what they advertise, they do not provide holidays per US calendar as advertised and do not give you bonuses.

However, they do pay on time and their staff is friendly but not helpful.

I can say with absolute honesty. I have never worked in a company that cares so much for its employees. We are not treated as robots and are flexible if you need a personal day for family matters; sick leaves and vacations are not an issue, and extra work is rewarded accordingly. Our opinions are taken into account. It does not matter what position you're in. We have growth opportunities as well. I couldn't been happier!

Everyone was so friendly, supportive and kind to me since day 1. I've been working at JobDuck for almost two years now and it's been one of the greatest experiences of my life. My team is amazing and so are my superiors.
