This was my first experience in a flight simulator. Having compared reviews with others around the country I decided this was most likely the best option, and I stand by that decision. The fact that it's full motion and made from a full cockpit taken from a retired 737 means that it's about as real and authentic as you're going to get without actually getting into a real aircraft.

The staff who handled my visit had great knowledge and experience which meant that it was also a learning experience for me. They asked about my background with flight simulators and used this information to adjust my experience to make it worth my while.

They are easy to find and in a very accessible location which made it very easy to just walk in and get on with it. The prices are very reasonable compared to other simulators as well.

They also have other projects going in the background which shows that they want to grow and I wish them all the best in doing so as they deserve it.

Wow, what an incredible experience with JETEX. Bought as a Christmas present for my 12 year old son - a 30 minutes experience in the simulator to aid future career choices. He absolutely loved it! Victor, his instructor was friendly, patient, helpful and really informative. We both really enjoyed it and are planning to return soon. We highly recommend the experience.

I’m thinking about becoming a pilot one day, and my time in the full motion simulator at JetEx was absolutely amazing. It was so realistic — it genuinely felt like I was inside a real jet. From the sounds to the movement to the visuals, everything made the experience incredibly immersive.

It was not only fun but also very inspiring. It gave me an even bigger appreciation for flying and what pilots do, and it made me more excited than ever about possibly pursuing aviation in the future.

I had a great time and would 100% recommend this experience to anyone — whether you’re seriously thinking about becoming a pilot or just want to try something exciting and different. It’s a fantastic experience!

This was a birthday gift for my husband (aviation enthusiast!) and it was perfect! JetEx provides a unique, realistic flight experience and to have such a facility in the area is fantastic! Romek greeted us and he was friendly, relaxed and chatted about the business and the flight was overseen by Victor who was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and, in a word, brilliant. In terms of recommendations, booked another session as I think it is the best present possible for someone with a love of planes!
Another gift was me sat in the seat behind my husband without offering directions or advice as I was truly in awe of what was going on! No backseat flying!!

Today we had a great flight experience at the simulator in Frome with JetEx.
Right from the start there was a friendly welcome. We had a 30 minute simulator experience which was enjoyable and educational. The pilot had been a commercial airline pilot for 30 years and was knowledgeable and informative.
It was great fun taking off and landing both during daytime and at night.
We will try to return for another potentially longer flight experience, and would definitely recommend to others.

Took my Grandson for a 13th birthday treat and he thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. His pilot was really friendly, helpful and patient and Joseph can't wait to go again. Happy to recommend.

I'm autistic and love planes - this was a birthday present and I absolutely had the best time ever. Mats was immediately so welcoming and friendly, was very clear in all instructions and I really can't express how much I enjoyed the experience! 1 hour felt like 10mins.

Really hope to be able to come back in the future and try out some more airports! Thanks Mats and the rest of the team ❤️🙌

What a fantastic experience it was amazing you have got to try this took of from Gatwick did a turn about and landed so real night landing also and a landing at Skiathos brilliant instructor will definitely do this again

It has always been on my bucket list to have a go at flying a commercial jet. So found this great company,JetEx, in Frome, who offer packages to experience their fully realistic Boeing 737 simulator.

Went along with my brother who also works in the aero industry at Rolls Royce.

We were made very welcome and had a tailored and personal 2 hour session flying the 737 from the captain’s seat.

The view out of the simulator was so realistic and we flew in and out of Gatwick, East Midlands, Innsbrook, London City and La Guardia.

A fantastic experience and thanks to the guys for making it personal and with patience.

Thanks to a great afternoon. Me and brother had an hour each running together. Our instructor was so informative and made it so interesting. The simulator was so realistic and the choice of different airports and landscapes were amazing. What a great trip and I would recommend it to anyone.

2nd visit with my grandson. Thoroughly enjoyable experience, continues to fuel his wish to become a pilot in the future.

My 13 y/o daughter and I spent an hour in the simulator, as I really want to give her a wide range of experiences on which to base her future career choice. This certainly fit the bill, as it was both fun & informative. We got a glimpse into the life of a commercial pilot. Will she choose this direction for herself? Who knows, but she's certainly a little more informed than she was a week ago. Victor was friendly & helpful and really helped us get the most of our time at Jetex. Highly recommended.

My wife surprised me with a voucher for this experience, knowing how much I love anything about aviation – from the beauty of the feeling you experience when you are 30,000+ feet to the materials used in the nuts and bolts that keep together these engineering marvels that we simply call planes.

Upon arrival, Joe welcomed me, and then I realised that he will be the ‘pilot monitoring’, as I will be the ‘pilot flying’, which felt very empowering, even though I had never that such thing before. Initially, I expected to be sitting in the First Officer’s seat (the right one), but nooo… I was kindly asked to join the Captain’s seat (the left one), which again gave me an interesting feeling of curios anxiety, combined with sheer fascination of being trusted with the plane.

In hindsight, not reading anything on their website about them, and just solely focussing on getting the voucher booked, added to the whole experience, making it even more fascinating, not knowing what to expect.

I had previously read about aviation, planes, and their primary and secondary surface controls, together with all the other systems, it was simply lovely to chat to a licensed commercial pilot and feel almost on the same level in terms of knowledge (not skills, of course!).

Joe talked me through the various things that we will be doing in-and-out of Bristol airport, and he was surprised by how quickly I managed to pick things up, get the aircraft under control, trim it, and then execute the various interesting thing – flying over Bristol to get a hang of the controls, touch and go, engine failure, going around with an engine failure and flying solely based on the instruments given the low visibility scenario.

Even writing this, I get absolutely mesmerised by the feeling I had in that moment, because I had dreamed for a long time of getting to experience flying… this is how astounding this simulator experience was!
Joe, the real pilot, mentioned that the feeling the simulator provides is remarkably similar to what you would experience in the real plane, which added to the whole experience to be simply sublime!

I am looking forward to flying again with them! (you get priority boarding and seats, and the best view by default, no commercial airline can beat that!)

Brilliant experience, felt like the real thing, even got my usual pre takeoff collywobbles and forgot I was in a simulater. Instructor was great, even though I crash landed twice !
If you love everything about planes and flying you will love this, a great professional experience, would definitely do again.

A really hidden gem of a company.
After a very friendly welcome by Romek I met Matts who was to be my instructor for the 1 hour experience. Matts is a fomer SAS pilot and is extremely knowledgeable on the B737-800 and made me feel so at ease on the fight deck. Having experienced other simulators in the past, until now, I have never had the opportunity to fly a full motion simulator; what an experience it was; just like being in the air!
I had a wonderful time flying circuits from Gatwick both at night ans in the day, with and without autopilot assistance, turbulence, and closing off with a landing at Skiathos airtort (JSI) which has an extremely short runway with hills on each side and ea at each end with no runoff; managed to land and stop without getting my feet wet!
What a great hour I had at JetEx and would thoughly recomend to anyone who wanting to experience the nearest thing to flying a real 737.

This flight simulator experience was really very good indeed. It was very immersive and I immediately felt that I was actually flying a jet. The instructor was superb and my hour literally flew past. I will definitely be doing this again. Excellent!

Attended today with my son who is 12 years old. It was well worth the visit for this experience. The set up of the simulator was top class and the instructor Simon was great and gave just the right amount of guidance… we took off and landed at Bristol, Gatwick and New York. We both recommend.
