Awful customer support. They automate their ban/appeal process. You CANNOT talk to a human. If you're unlucky enough to get falsely banned, you just lost your account for good.

Worst ever
Worst ever, I paid to buy bonds and didn’t recieve anything in return when making a dispute they blocked my account till I pay what’s owed. Rather than contacting me about the issue they just block accounts. They go unaswer all email you do through there website! I ended up paying twice so I can access my account and I was hoping I have my money back as soon as they discover the problem. But they don’t even contact you!

If theres a problem with your account, contacting customer support is like asking the hacker to return your account.

How can you have no customer support
How can you have no customer support? This is costing them a lot money... so many paying customers leaving the game because the y have issues with their account.

if you like to spend hours of your life after your account has been hacked just to continue getting nowhere speaking to someone is completely out of the question. Then Jagex supports the place to be, beyond me how games 100 times smaller have and are better support than a company almost worth a billion most pathetic customer support I've personally seen its 2021 where's your live support team at the pub ?

I bought a subscription and got to play for a day before being wrongly given a permanent and unappealable ban for major macroing. It was actually kind of hilarious and it saved me from getting back into runescape. Either way, I got randomly permanently banned for no reason and all my attempts at contacting support were futile. So it seems to be a pretty bad company.

I never heard of this company until it started taking money out of my account!!! So I looked it up, the games look awful! Give me my money back! I had to change my card number and now can't access the 50 cents in my account, which would be 105$ that I needed today. But jagex screwed that all up!
The non existent “customer support”…
The non existent “customer support” could not care any less about their loyal players. It is impossible to talk to a jagex employee and when they finally reach out to you via email it is always a bot. This will ALWAYS result in people quitting their game for another one which actually gives a crap about their customers. Absolute terrible experience

I have received a minor ban for botting, This is a temporary ban for 48 hours but I am disheartened and it has made me feel like leaving completely. I have never used a bot to cheat and every click that has been made on that game has been mine and I have grinded every minute of it! I now have a black mark against my account and if banned again it will be permanent. I now feel like I don't want to waste any more of my time because they may decide to ban me after 100's of hours put into it.. When you try to appeal you are told there is "sufficient evidence" This is pure rubbish. There is no customer service you are just sent round in circles with all the automated responses. People don't believe you were banned unfairly.. well wait for it to happen to them.. the system is flawed and you have just lost a loyal player of 16 years... and you will lose many more if you keep this up.
Great game, no support ended my adventure
Honestly, great game. I took much enjoyment from it. Variety of options however many things are gatekeeped by requiring you to take part in activities you don’t enjoy.
One such task is unlocking the city of Prifddinas. Requiring level 75 in most skills including dungeoneering which I loathed and painfully grinded every part of it. On top of this required quests. I finally reached all skills in level 75 and only had one quest remaining called Mourning's End Part II to unlock the final quest to allow me to get back to the game I enjoyed. It was quite a sacrifice to pause enjoying myself to undertake this task over the period of a month just to get back to playing the enjoyable parts. There was no avoiding it, access to the needed items demanded it.
To be clear it was critical and must complete item as you were hindered due to access and materials required for much of the crafting and gathering skills/tools, otherwise I’d have no part in this entire process.
Anyway, having a few disabilities lead to the task being out of grasp for me on this mirror puzzle. I followed two separate youtube guides step by step, pouring 4 hours per session trying to complete it and couldn’t.
I asked for assistance. In-game support provides a 500 character limit. I did my best with the tiny bit of space. I received no communication or help from support.
There is no e-mail for support, only a forum. I’m not going to publicly communicate and provide access to people to both view and evade my privacy on a matter that’s none of their business.
There are only two public email addresses to Jagax on the website. The first, marketing which immediately bounced back and is no longer active. The other is press related and communicates “They check the box often throughout the day”. Jagax ignored that communication too.
I can’t say that Jagax intentionally ignores player support. Most likely they lack the manpower and structured it in such a way the community does the work for them, saving the a cost of a salary to provide support.
I’ll certainly miss the good parts that crashed and burned due to cutting costs and a bit too much greed on Jagax’s part. Of course, if any of us had that kind of money rolling in, most wouldn’t care about your problems much the same, drop in the bucket compared to the bigger picture of which Yacht to purchase next. Hope my weekly TH spending helped buy a nice hood ornament. Shame I couldn’t receive help to spend more to help upgrade the seats to leather.
The ironic thing however is when you unsubscribe Jagax communicates to let them know why. Only the possibility isn’t available by design.

Got banned for macroing/botting when I didn't even do so on OSRS Their 'evidence' isn't even proper evidence at all. It's just a "Well we feel like you did!" when I really didn't. Put so much effort into my account and it's snuffed away for no reason.
Jagex is just terrible!
The worse gaming company...This company cant even manage their own games! The worse customer service, you pay a monthly fee, and no customer service when you need it, and believe me with jagexs broken garbage you will need customer service. How can a company that has so many hackers, scammers, bots, and who knows what else stay in business this long? Never use trash jagex! BTW jagex i take very serious to your terrible company scamming me!

The customer service at Jagex is possibly THE WORST experience Ive ever had.
For a company that takes £6.99 of my money every month, plus the thousands of pounds worth of Micro-transactions they receive every week, I don't think speaking to a human being rather than a robot is a lot to ask for.
After constantly being re-directed to their FAQ page which doesn't help in the slightest, I was told to try and contact them through Twitter, specifically their @JagexSupport account. Im sure you can imagine I was completely surprised when the reply I got was yet another generic, automated answer.
The Customer Support at Jagex was 1000x better years ago when the company was half the size with half the amount of employees. Makes sense right? Nope.

Jagex fails to have a proper customer support system and fails to take responsibility for their own mistakes. They rely to heavily of player support forums and pre posted self help area. Only contact for Jagex is Reddit and Twitter both of which are not suitable for the consumer. Once upon time Jagex cared, now they fall to the same scheme as every big company, money.

happy to electronically take payments via stolen mobile numbers but I cannot cancel them or speak to anyone about them. these places should be shut down. Absolute con merchants as is BOKU - which I am assuming are connected at some level!

i recently downloaded runelite, logged in once, logged out. went to log in 2 days later and it tells me to put 6 digit code, which i do not have set up. fixed that finally, try to log in and ive been banned for botting when i have barely even played it?! perm banned my account and deleted it, f u c k y o u jagex, you've lost a long time player. dont even have a decent support system to report it

playing rs3 for years and have never cheated. Just got a permanent ban saying that I have been using illegal 3rd party software. Cannot appeal and nowhere to reach for jagex support. I have spent lots of money and time in the game and everything's gone.
