Finally delivered my wardrobe,
to the Kerb purposely used a courier company that do not take into the house.
When I said I would return it and wait for a new delivery date they said they wouldn’t return it but send me back my money.
Seem that they were blackmailing me they then hung up on me when I complained and will not take my call. They were meant to send me my delivery money back, still not had anything ?
The most unhelpful company I have ever dealt with. I have asked for a manager to phone me back, still waiting??

I got what I wanted, and am very happy with my order. The delivery was fast and to room of choice. Cheers guys...well done, I will buy from you again

When we recieved the chest of drawers and there was a slight defect on one of the drawers. Rang the store and told them of the problem. They delivered a new chest and broght back the old one. Well made furniture and helpful company.

The delivery has been made and we are over the moon with our purchase. It was worth the wait and thank you for the complimentary teak bowel. We will be back in Jan for more additions to our bedroom

***Update*** 30/12/2022
The shop got in touch with my partner a week after I posted this review, they said they are expecting the furnitures in their warehouses by end of Dec and should be able to arrange delivery early Jan 2023 and therefore asked if we can take down this negative review on TrustPilot.
I just emailed the shop back today for an update as no one has contacted us regarding the delivery that they promised us over the phone and made them aware that we will demand a full refund on our order if they fail to deliver by end of first week of Jan. I hope they will live up to their promise this time and we will get our furnitures finally. If not and if the shop refused to issue a refund we will likely complain to the Trading Standards / take legal actions.

Initial review - 2/12/2022
We recently moved house and ordered all of our bedroom furnitures from Island Furniture in mid September, that includes a set of 5 door wardrobes, 3 sets of chest drawers, and a dressing table. When placing the order online, the Website did not give any details / warning about long delivery time. We specifically checked the “Delivery” section on the website for relevant info and it reads as if stocks are already available within the UK and only if it’s international shipping beyond the UK that would incur extra time and cost for delivery.
We placed our order in mid September, the customer service emailed back immediately confirming the order and full payment and stipulated delivery would take approx 8-10 weeks (which was a bit of a shock to us as we were expecting the stocks are readily available for dispatch, but was fine with it as long as we receive them before Christmas).
By end of Nov (approaching the end of the 8-10 weeks shipment window as promised) we still had not heard back from the shop so we emailed to enquire about the shipment status. We were then told that they still haven’t got an update from the manufacturer as to when they will receive the items in their warehouse and we were asked to wait patiently as it turns out the 8-10 weeks delivery time is just an estimate and not at all a promise.
We then received an email from the shop early Dec notifying us that they expect to receive the furnitures we ordered at their warehouse by end of December, which by then they will arrange a delivery time with us. It was very disappointing to hear that we will basically have no furnitures for our bedrooms for Christmas and now we have to purchase temporary furnitures to store our belongings as we don’t want our house to be in a mess during the festive seasons where we will have guests visiting and staying over. It’s not only disappointing that the shop failed to notify its customers of the potential long delivery time (no warnings on website), then further missing the 8-10 weeks delivery window (running into 15 weeks after the delay), and the shop customer service never showed any sympathy towards the situation but instead just repeatedly demand us to be “patient and be understanding”, although they did nothing meanwhile to manage customer expectations. We emailed them to tell about our frustrations but haven’t heard back.
Not at all the experience we would expect from a shop like this where the furnitures are not cheap.

If you want to speak to sales you can call and speak to someone, if you want to speak to customer service with any issues or concerns only email. What does that tell you. This is what I was told by their team when calling as we were not happy with our existing email communication with customer service.
So rude, no respect for their customers and the money they invest in their business. My partner and I placed an order and was told only after departing with over a grand that delivery would take 8-10 weeks. When we emailed for updated delivery date they said it had been extended to estimate 14 weeks. Over 3 months! They did not inform us of this on their own accord, we had to chase. No mention of this when you purchase from them online. They don't actually have the product they are selling in stock or the supplies to make it. Completely and deliberately miss-leading on the website. I imagine to facilitate their company cash flow. Take the money and deal with complaints later, it's already in the bank so. When I called to discuss this and why their company misleads their customer on their website I was put through to a very rude women in dispatch, who spoke over me, consistently and relayed "we have been on the phone for 5 minutes now" so clearly didn't have the time for me and relayed a lot of exasperation that she was even on the call. No understanding of my concern that we had paid over a grand for a bed with no understanding of when it would be dispatched. Didn't feel this was inappropriate or understand the concern or frustration. The women in dispatch showed no respect for customers that have chosen to purchase and support the business she works at and in turn her job and was an unfortunate reflection of this company key values. Avoid at All Costs! Terrible quality and Terrible customer services!
Bought a kitchen island from them, which cracked in 3 places after several months. They did not respond to any of my emails and when I was going to pursue it via credit card dispute, they promised to replace the island with the new one. It has been 5 months since they promised! And still nothing..
I have no choice bow but to initiate the legal dispute again

A friend recommended this company and this is my 2nd purchase. The bookcase we received is excellent quality , with a lovely finish. Quite happy with my order.

I bought a wardrobe in early October 2021, paying £500 deposit of £1000 purchase. It didn’t arrive in the 8 weeks as outlined and they emailed in January 22. Delays were inevitable that was acceptable. It was delivered but the door could not be put on due to the angle of other furniture so I later had this put on by a family member who damaged the wood. I spoke with Island and they helpfully sent me some touch up paint. This did not match despite them insisting it did. I asked if their French polisher could advice me and I sent photos in May 2021, no response. I visited the office and had the most unhelpful response. Initially they customer service person said I couldn’t come into the warehouse/office and reluctantly they did where I outlined I had asked for some after sales advice from their French polisher who apparently was not in again. I sent photos again in September following this visit and again no response. I have never bought from this company and would advice that their product and after sales is poor and in my experience lacked good professional engagement. The cost of the product, if bought elsewhere, I think would have been received differently. Would advise other prospective customers to look at reviews before purchasing.

The furniture is well priced and easy to assemble. The delivery people kept us in the loop even though is was 3 hours behind schedule.
