Intercape bus is a death trap

It is high time the government close this useless transport company down

Bus is stuck in the middle of the road at midnight, the owners must be criminally charged for endeangering people life. This is not a good company, please desist from using this intercape buses

I booked a bus ticket and boarded the bus from Durban to Newcastle, when the bus arrived at Pietermarirzburg I got off the bus to buy coffee. To my surprise when I got back into the bus someone was sitting in my seat. The bus driver and co-ordinater gave them my seat and had to sit at another place just because the passenger had a minor and wanted to watch them. This is my last time I ever board another InterCape. Nonsense service 😡😠

I'm not happy with the service I got and how Intercape is misleading their consumers. I bought 4 tickets 2 were for adults and 2 for kids and the 10% discount that they are advertising it did not apply to my kids. As we were boarding the bus urine smell welcomed us. The sits are dirty it just tells that it was not cleaned. I'm appelled
Next of Kin details were not required as per the person who was assisting me at the ticket office, when I asked the guy gave me a lame excuse that the details will delay us........ Checkers does a sterling job with booking compared to what I experienced at your desk.

Bus drove into something and broke a door off. This was ducktaped back onto the bus, by passengers because the drivers were too utterly useless to do it themselves. The bus was, as a result, 10 hours late. I’d rather crawl on my belly to my destination than take this bus.

I went from Bloemfontain to Johannesburg and despite the bus coming all the way from Cape Town it was only slightly delayed. Luggage "check in" was friendly and perfect. I felt safe at the bus station in Bloemfontain. The bus was clean, and the drivers were friendly and professional. Seat was fine. Fine 15 minute break after a couple hours. Having had a scary experience at CT bus station (was mugged) I was worried about finding my way from the bus stop at Johannesburg Park Station to the Gautrain train station, but a gentleman from Intercape Johannesburg kindly helped me finding my way - and in safety. Highly appreciated!

Utterly disappointed! Bus set to get to P.e at 20:10 gets there 30-40 minutes. No communication whatsoever. Due to time I booked a flight to CPT. I then send a email to Intercape offices and spoke with Luzaan M who was absolutely disrespectful and not helpful. Her manager called me and she states yes the bus did delay but we cant compensate you as it is in our policy that they can delay up to an hour. Great job Danielle the head of complaints! I requested the copy of my calls and this was refused! I was advised buses can delay up to an hour and still no compensation will be made rather issue you with an sms.

Passengers get left af Kroonstad pick up all the time. The bus that comes is not from intercape , how donyou expect passengers to know? This is the worst bus company ever!
Always late too!
