Useless customer service

Useless customer service. Issues happen often, and every time I contact support, nothing gets resolved. Complaints are ignored, callbacks lead nowhere, or worse—they hang up as soon as I say I don’t speak Arabic. No help, no professionalism, no accountability. Completely unacceptable.

I ordered from InstaShop and paid 96

I ordered from InstaShop and paid 96, but they delivered uncut fish and unclean, uncut chicken. Nothing was properly prepared. When I tried calling customer service, my calls didn’t even go through. I called many times and they only responded after a full day. Now instead of solving the issue, they are arguing with me from different numbers, insisting they are not wrong.

I will attach their messages in this review so people can see the proof. I strongly advise others to be careful before ordering from InstaShop. This has been a very bad experience.

Ordering is easy — but if something goes wrong, you’re completely on your own.

I’m extremely disappointed with Instashop’s customer service. I received a damaged order and immediately contacted support to arrange a return. Since then, I’ve sent countless messages (well over 100) and have been waiting for a callback that never came. I have now been waiting almost 8 hours for any response or assistance.

This is not the first time I’ve had issues with their service, but this experience has been the worst. There has been zero follow-up, no resolution, and no accountability.

What makes this even more frustrating is that I had to contact the shop owner myself to resolve the issue. He was the one who arranged for a driver to pick up the damaged items — not Instashop. A third party took responsibility while the platform I ordered through did absolutely nothing.

I had to cancel my plans and stay home all day just to try and fix a problem I didn’t cause. Instashop showed no consideration for my time, responsibilities, or the inconvenience this situation caused.

When a company makes it this difficult to return damaged items and offers no real customer support, it shows a serious lack of respect for customers. This experience has been exhausting and extremely disappointing.

Spennies in instashop deducts for any…

Spennies in instashop deducts for any cancelled and removed items from basket and when I raise it to instashop they don’t investigate and voucher it’s not counted when added to your total payment bc they deduct all the amount. I request invistigation for all my spennies order and it was not done and I was not communicated !!! This happened several times and if they provide you with their recite provide them with your deduction bank statement . This is a complaint and I want invistigation and refund for removed items from all spennies orders

Damaged product…

I have been disappointed several times over the past three years with instashop but today was the cherry on the cake.
I received a product that was not just not what I had ordered but it was damaged too. The packet was torn and stapled back with the items in the bag still very much exposed.
I called instashop and sent them pictures of the product. They said that the driver would pass by to pick up the item for an exchange. I informed them that I would be leaving in two hours and if they came after that, no one would be home. The person said that the driver would be there before I left. It’s two hours since the call and no word from instashop, neither has the driver passed by. I would gladly leave a picture here, if there was an option.

Useless Customer service

I ordered at 11pm. Waited until 12:43am as the order is tagged as "out for delivery" Tried numerous time to use their "Contact Us" which is COMPLETELY USELESS AND VERY LIMITED. until I got a notification that tha shop is already closed. USELESS. THIS APP IS TOTALLY NOT WORTH USING AT ALL ANYMORE. I DELETED MY ACCOUNT IN INSTANT. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.

Wait times

Ok let me make this short and clear. I ordered a chips from instashop because i was hungry. AND THE ORDER TOOK 180 LONG MINUTES JUST FOR 1 SINGULAR BAG OF CHIPS. The wait times are just pmo

I don't recommend

I have ordered my stuff from instashop and it was supposed to be delivered in around 40 minutes. I have waited 6 hours and didn't receive my order. I wrote to the customer service on the App and emailed them and no one replied.
I had to get to the shop and collect my groceries. After that they marked the order in the App that it is delivered and I got a message telling me that we will try to avoid that next time. I doubt that will be next time. A very careless customer service, underrating their customers and I don't not recommend using their services.

There is nothing worse than Instashop…

There is nothing worse than Instashop Egypt, no matter what you do or how you try to get support I don’t believe it exists on this app. ZERO ABSOLUTELY ZERO customer service, no refunds you just stuck with it whatever trash you’ve received from their hands. ANYTHING BUT INSTASHOP!!!! WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Awful experience.

I ordered two things, one was 40 dirhams another one 8 dirhams. They excluded the one for 40 dirhams from the order and kept the one for 8 without asking. I tried to text and call but I got zero reply. I couldn’t amend or cancel my order. At the end the status says delivered and I have nothing next to my door. Real magic from instashop. They also took the 30 dirham coupon that they gifted me)

Worst delivery service and biggest…

Worst delivery service and biggest cheats!
Their products say one price, and at checkout you get charged more. You can't cancel the order or speak to anyone. They'll say you qualify for free delivery and then charge AED 8-10 for delivery fees.

It's very bad experience and so frustrating. My order delayed for 3 hours and never arrives; unfortunately i paid online. I don't know how you operate like a company. No customer service to respond to your complaints and never reply. Service level is big ZERO

Horrible service and CHEATING!!!

Horrible service and CHEATING!!!! The prices showed on the app are lies. The order is being “adjusted” once the order is packed and in fact you are being charged more, than you expected and this happens with almost all orders.

I’m giving a 0 * review for instashop! I have had my 5th unsatisfactory order today that has just went too far! I received chicken and when I opened the smell was unbearable- chicken was off! If I had cooked with this I would have gotten sick for sure! I called at 3 pm to be told they will
Send fresh product! 5:25 pm I had to call them as no one contacted me and I had 3 calls unanswered before they finally answered!
They send me 35 aed insta points? Not even my money back and said sorry! This is so serious as they are sending products that are not safe for consumption! The previous experience was missing items which I was charged for and then when I ask for the product they send some random piece of cake instead of the product I had ordered! SCAMMERS DO NOT USE!!!
