Bottomless Brunch

We were given a voucher for bottomless brunch for 2. Easy to redeem voucher by email we booked for 12.00.
Waiter saw us waiting outside at 11.55 and invited us in and showed us to the table. He took our drinks order which arrived without delay. As we struggled with the table tech which is used for ordering, we asked for help which he was quite happy to oblige. We ordered 6 tapas which arrived separately as soon as they had been cooked, so food was hot and fresh and tasty. Another waiter was very attentive (but not intrusive). When she saw our drinks were nearly finished came over without having to be asked to offer more drinks. Tables were cleared efficiently, enjoyable experience. Big shout out to Sangita.

What a terrible place!

What a terrible place! We went as a family of 6 adults on the £40 all you can eat sushi and tapas. They told us to wait downstairs where for three cokes and two awful rum cocktails, we were charged £50. No one came to Etel us the table was ready. I went upstairs to ask and the two women at the desk ignored me for 5 mins before impatiently telling us “Yes! Your table is ready! “
We went upstairs and had little to no help to show us the table. The games didn’t work on one of the tables and they didn’t care. No one came to check on us. They showed us where we could find the bottomless menu and some items were charged. You could order three items per person at a time. It was chaos from no food for 30 mins to drinks and drabs. They kept missing out items then bringing ones we didn’t ask for. It tasted awful! At the end they tried to charge us £290 and insisted we’d ordered items we hadn’t . We asked for the service charge to be removed as service was terrible. They refused and we ended up still having to pay as our train was due. If I could give zero stars I would have!

Charged for a technology licence for no reason

We had the afternoon tea, paid for by a voucher, and were charged service charge as well as the technology licence for the tables which we didn't even use to order. Didn't realise we could query why we were being charged a fee for tables that we didn't use. Food was alright, but place has a strange ambience.

We had an afternoon tea voucher

We had an afternoon tea voucher. The interactive tables were okay but we weren't there for them. The food arrived quickly once confirming we had the vegetarian option. The server Vivek explained each dish, got our drinks and was very attentive. Didn't feel rushed at all. He cleared table then we had a small sweet as part of our deal. The food was good, the coconut ice cream was especially delicious! We were given a bill for service and Technology License , we queried the 2nd thing and he took it straight off. We had to Google what the charge even was as we had never heard of it !
Toilets were in need of a clean / tidy and there was an odd smell on that lower level but didn't spoil our experience.

Dreadful from start to finish. Avoid.

Went to Covent Garden restaurant with family. Was supposed to be the highlight of a three day stay in the capital. Went because it was well reviewed albeit known to be poor value for money. We found if grotty and dirty inside. The so called tech tables didn’t work despite being rebooted and were covered in a grime as well as being scratched. The place stank of harsh cleaning fluid which you could taste over the food which was bang average apart from own dish. Staff couldn’t care less about the tables and every time a single dish was done with they pounced to interrupt the meal and conversation to take it away. A truly awful experience.

What a chaotic experience

What a chaotic experience. As we were a fairly large group we had booked in advance and they did not have a table ready for all of us to sit together and yes there was space fur that to happen. We ordered our food, some having a sharing choice and it's was just chaotic when the food was coming out as it was not clear who was having what and really not enough space for all the dishes they were serving. The food was ok, apart from the red snapper which was chewy. Works not rush back there as was not a relaxed enjoyable experience

Alt for dyrt! Tør bao med en skive agurk og iceberg salat i? Skærmen reagerer langsomt og er virkelig gamle spil og intetsigende spil der er på. Skuffende koncept.

Way to expensive

Yes, the food was lovely – but 10 pounds for 2 small nigiri sushi? 20 pounds for 6 small chicken sticks? All in all, we paid 185 pounds for a nip and a nap here and there, 2 cocktails and 2 beers (we were 2 persons) We loved the concept of small dishes, social dinner style – the idea of being able to come around to taste so much delicious Asian food instead of just one dish, but its crazy prices for the amount of food we got. I’m sorry to say. The waiters where nice, but they did throw us out at 9.30 – I guess they wanted to go home? No explanation, suddenly the kitchen closed – well, I guess we saved some money at that account, we were not full!

Food awful

Food awful - cold and very very very small portions now they changed menu in Oct 2025.
Staff are moody and not willing to help
Interactive screens are clunky and take ages to order
Dirty floor and premises are in need of refresh.
Overall it used to be a lovely place with lovely staff but now its gone down hill with them seeming to want more ££££ profit rather than give a good experience. AVOID IT is my advise.

Fabulous service and Food

We have fantastic experience with family & friends at 'Inamo' nice quality food, and fabulous servings staff(Robins). I do recommend it for having a good family time and relaxing day, so Fantastic atmosphere as well. For all the staff... A massive thanks to 'the Inamo staff' 😄

Terrible experience

Terrible experience, particularly if you purchase a voucher from a 3rd party site.

Inamo will change the menu and hide behind extremely well hidden T&C's.

Rude staff, awful food, expensive, tech tables that are absolutely pointless and annoying.

Customer service who are no help whatsoever, they just try to get you to go again..... No thanks!

Gone downhill that is for sure

Gone downhill that is for sure.
Dirty tables, floor is filthy - staff are moody and unwilling to help. The screens are clunky and do not work properly. The food comes out at different stages and is cold. When I was here at the weekend I was charged for the food, drink, service charge and an additional charge per person for the screen usage - WTF! Are they for real - having the screens saves them on staff having to come and take orders. They have the cheek to now charge us to use the equipment they put in place to aid their profits.... AVOID THIS PLACE

Benefit of the doubt

Mixed. Food ok. Some dishes great, others not so tasty: we asked how long we had the table for - initially told 2 hours, then 90 minutes, Then after we'd been sat down for 5 minutes - told we now had "another 60 only". bulb above our table wasn’t working, literally couldn’t see what we were eating. Staff just laughed when mentioned this. When the bill came it included a beer I ordered that was “unavailable “ and a dish that never came. Exorbitant service charge based on gross (pre voucher) price. Oh and toilets not as clean as should be. Should be a great experience but too many sloppy mistakes to resolve - at least I hope mistakes. Felt like had to fight to get everything that should have been easy

Restaurant committed fraud

Mixed Experience with a Disappointing Ending

Visited Inamo in Covent Garden with my family and had a mixed experience. While some dishes were tantalising to the taste buds, others were an outright letdown.

The interactive screens on the tables were an engaging feature that kept the kids entertained. However, the evening took a sour turn when we received our bill. Despite having ordered our drinks through the table's menu system, we found ourselves charged an extra £32.80 for Mocktails we didn't order.

Given the high-tech ordering system, it's hard to see how this could be an innocent mistake. It felt more like a 'tourist trap' technique, thinking we wouldn't notice. After a stern conversation with the staff, the false charges were removed, but the experience left a bitter taste, and we chose not to pay the discretionary service charge.

I will be reporting this incident to Trading Standards as practices like these should not be tolerated. Disappointing to see such tactics still prevalent in a city like London.

Scam - unlimited sushi

Unlimited sushi. However it wasn’t true. We only were allowed to order 3 times and then our table was disconnected from ordering more. First order we only were served 2 portions each, not sure why we didn’t get 2 more sushi that we ordered. Second order wasn’t complete either.
I payed over £80 for few sushi and 3 drinks. (2 people). Disappointing.

Birthday Lunch

Oriental fusion restaurant with colourful, space-age decor and interactive, table-top menu. Delicious foods, food portion’s needs to be a bit bigger for the price that you are paying. Customer service is Good, can be better. Drinks are too over priced.
