I went out looking for a crypto friendly bank that does not limit its clientele to only the so-called developed world but also open to institutions registered all over the world, especially in the emerging markets of Africa and Asia.

I could not believe my eyes and ears when I came across Hamilton Reserve Bank in Nevis during my search for a crypto friendly bank.

What I came across at Hamilton Reserve Bank is most probably going to make the blockchain exchanges such as coinbase, binance, crypto.com, kraken, etc...redundant as far as I am concerned.

I will not do justice without mentioning that the most important component of my Hamilton Reserve Bank experience is the human aspect.

From the beginning, Ealidia Cornibert (LILY) is just an outstanding and amazing relationship manager with outstanding qualities, that I must admit I have never come across in my banking experience and this is with absolute sincerity.

If I were to score Lily's understanding of cultural diversity, courtesy in dealing with clients and ability in the keeping the client abreast of all the positive possibilities offered by Hamilton Reserve Bank, I will definitely give a score of 100% or more if that was allowed.

Because of the excellent treatment I received from Lily, I have vouched to tell all my friends about Hamilton Reserve Bank and all the possibilities available at only Hamilton Reserve Bank as far as I know.

I always knew that what I was looking for in a bank, especially in this age of crypto currency proliferation, is not impossible and Hamilton Reserve Bank has proven me right.

Do not go anywhere near this bank!
Easy to open an account and they can't do enough for you in an attempt to get your money. Extortionate fees and a minimum balance is required which in itself isn't the main gripe.
If you want to close the account they make up all sorts of excuses and require reams of paperwork. No complaints procedure at all and I am still waiting for them to "approve" the closure after two months of jumping through hoops. This can not be classed as a Bank but more of a place to "park" money which they basically take ownership of once deposited. Hamilton Reserve Bank should be avoided at all costs!

Based on my direct experience, Hamilton Reserve Bank promises services and then changes the terms after funds are sent. When you push for answers or a refund, they stop replying. Their staff gave contradictory explanations, demanded undisclosed extra fees, and treated my concerns with contempt. Even their legal and compliance department acknowledged my request for a refund and then went silent.

I have filed a formal complaint with the regulator and will escalate further. Do not trust verbal or written promises from this institution without irrevocable, verifiable settlement in place. If you value your funds and time, avoid opening accounts or sending money to them.

Hamilton Reserve Bank is not a serious financial institution. Their officers behave more like pushy salespeople than bankers, even offering company setups in Nevis like candy — invoices sent in minutes. That is not how a regulated bank should operate.

When it comes to client funds, they avoid responsibility, give excuses, and disappear. This bank reminds me more of the banks you see in movies like The Laundromat than a regulated institution.

My warning is simple: stay away from Hamilton Reserve Bank.

Myself and several associates are currently experiencing withdrawal delays and unusual documention requests over several months. I would exercise caution! An ultimatum has recently been given to them to proceed with withdrawal request based on a reasonable timeline. If HR Bank fails to comply; I shall inform the TP Financial community.
