Steve and his team at Havant Howdens went above and beyond with my recent kitchen transformation from design down to completion will definitely be visiting again.

Excellent branch , always available to help loads of stock !! . Steve the manager has a great team .

My husband and I had a bedroom and dressing room designed by Howdens. The designer did his job well and provided drawings of the 2 rooms with the new furniture fitted. We agreed to proceed with the order. We had a holiday booked and planned to have the furniture fitted whilst we were away. I requested howdens checked all of the materials required to fit the rooms were present and correct, they confirmed two members of staff at Howden‘s the Manager and the designer both checked the order and confirmed it was correct. On our return from holiday, we were mortified to find that the tall wardrobes were in fact kitchen larder cupboards and not tall at all as the drawings indicated floor to ceiling wardrobes. My dressing table was two kitchen cupboards with the kitchen worktop fitted to it and it looked horrendous. I then discovered the designer had to visited site during the fitting as the installers had issues and had not picked up the fitted wardrobes that had been installed were larder cupboards. I contacted Howdens to complain and they confirmed the wardrobes were sent in error and agreed to provide the correct wardrobes, but declined to change the dressing table as it was as stipulated in the drawings Obviously I have already paid fitters to fit the furniture. Howdens agreed to pay the re fitting cost as I was not prepared to pay two lots of installers twice. I have presented Howden’s with the bill for the second installation which was fair. They have refused to pay the bill in Full and said they will pay for one fitter for two days and one fitter, who would not be physically capable of carrying tall wardrobes and carcasses upstairs into a bedroom. the company have been extremely unhelpful and still will not acknowledge it was their error. They just keep saying it was a gesture of goodwill that they agreed to replace the wardrobes. Very unprofessional. Do not use this company especially for bedrooms as the customer service is diabolical
Additionally to this Alexander see below requested my details so he could contact me and I am not at all surprised to say a week on after providing h my contact details as requested. I have not had any contact/ response. No surprise there !

Dan on the main desk is the standout factor for me at Howdens Havant. Always friendly , super helpful all around nice guy. And when you've got a list of things or problems or you need guidance he knows his stuff. Howdens in general is the only place ill go for kitchens , not tried their bedroom range.
It's very much a situation of you get what you pay for, except compared to many, you get more than you pay for. The prebuilt items are as good as bespoke , and nearly as affordably cheap as the likes of IKEA. I only recommend them, and rarely fit any others.
Downside is the designers I've had dealings with. They seem to lack thought on the use of a kitchen and just try to fill the space with adequate units when that's not really all that's required. Don't take note of pipe locations or high traffic areas etc, there's only been one I've fitted in 5 years that I havent had to re design and end up sending items back.
Regardless, it's the ONLY place to buy a kitchen!

We love our new Howdens kitchen and so does everyone who sees it.
It’s so stylish and on trend. The cabinets are solid and well crafted, designed to perfection and finished with a high quality handle.
Our kitchen designer, Paris, was a joy to work with, she interpreted our vision into a reality. We now have an attractive, practical space to cook and entertain in.
The Lamona washing machine has a large capacity, runs silently and has an array of settings. The hob/oven is energy efficient and great to use, as is the dishwasher.
Thank you Paris & Howdens for converting our dilapidated kitchen space into an amazing, stunning kitchen/diner!

Our kitchen designer/advisor took time to understand our requirements, advised on the possible and came up with a great layout and inspired matches between unit colour, worktop and flooring and all within budget. Nothing was too much trouble.

Friendly, pro active & knowledge team at the Havant branch, all good here…

An amazing experience with Howdens Havant from start to finish. We had Paris design our kitchen and assist throughout, she has been an absolute pleasure, so informative and helpful, going above and beyond repeatedly. Thank you for our lovely new kitchen!
