The House Name Plate company was established in 1986 with the idea of creating beautiful handcrafted house signs, numbers and letterboxes. Since then we have sold over 2 million House Signs. We remain a privately-owned business. Over the last 40 years we have extended our product range to include slate, acrylic, brass, aluminum, granite and ceramic. All of our cutting, polishing, sand blasting and laser engraving is done at our workshops in North Wales.

Notified by Google Dark Web Monitoring that my personal information has appeared online stolen from The House Nameplate Company. A quick Google for 'The House Name Plate Company data breach' reveals that they were probably hacked in 2024. Never been notified by the company of this data breach and seriously concerned about how they protect personal data.

We have not experienced any known data breach within our systems, and all transactions are processed securely through Stripe, which is a PCI-compliant payment provider. We do not hold or store any payment information either on our website or internally.
We are aware of third-party reports and are currently conducting our own internal investigations to fully understand the origin of this concern. However, we would like to clarify that we have not received any formal confirmation of a breach affecting our systems, nor have we been notified of any compromise from the platforms we use.

Staff were friendly and helpful, available to speak to when I needed help with the design, honest about timescales, and the website is easy to use. The House Name Plate I purchased was lovely. I was really pleased with it and the recipient of the gift was delighted. Will use this company again.

Not impressed by the quality or the service.
I am not impressed with the quality of my letterbox and I am appalled by the lack of customer care.
I've had a basic letter box attached to my gate for a little over a year ( fitted January 2024 ) and the product has already developed rust on the top of the product. I contacted to the company a few weeks ago and no one has responded or acknowledged my message. I fear they know they sell poor products, and do not care about their customers. I do hope I'm wrong.

Wow, Excellent Customer Service excellent product.

Quality product but delivery let this company down
After researching a few companies for house name plates, I found this. They offered different styles and fonts etc so I placed my order and awaited delivery. This where it gets awkward - DPD sent me a text message to say they would deliver on a specific day and at a specific time, 13.36/14.36. I ensured that I was at home on the day and at the time in question but at 13.55, I received a futher message to say that as I was not at home, it would be delivered to a collection point some 4 miles away. I duly collected the house name plate and have to admit that it is beautiful and just what I wanted for my new build. As mentioned, the only dissappointing aspect was the fact that DPD lied about delivery and that I had to collect the parcel myslef.

Bought a self adhesive name plate and you can't peel the backing paper off. Just the most useless and ridiculouse item ever.

The photographs on the website don’t show the crisp edges well enough, it is a top quality product! Phoned the company to make the order as only wanted a house name and no number. Ordered a brass house name plate and it…
Ordered a brass house name plate and it arrived bang on time and we were really impressed with the quality. It weighed 3kg - which is really hefty and the quality of the finishing was superb. They included good quality rawl plugs, brass screws and end-caps to finish it off. I would recommend this company.

Purchased the 3 tier recycling box
Purchased the 3 tier recycling box, states on the website and instructions there’s pre drilled holes.
Got in contact with this company to be told I received the old instructions and this item doesn’t come with pre drilled holes as stated. Also states this on their website aswell!
This product isn’t worth its money, wood is thin and came with nails poking out.

We are so pleased with our new slate house number. It's Premium Slate with the number carved in it. The number itself is filled with gold colour paint - It looks amazing on our new front porch! We couldn't have asked for better service from placing the order to taking delivery. The quality of the product is excellent.

The staff of this company were exceptional! Each person with whom I spoke was courteous and helpful. Communication was excellent and delivery was in the time I requested even though it was quite short notice. The items were well packaged and secure. Full marks all round!!

Delighted with our number plate
We researched quite a number of Companies online for a number plate for our house before deciding on the House Nameplate Company and this proved a great choice. We choose a Brass Bridge House Sign and although it did take just over 5 weeks to arrive, to say we are absolutely delighted with the final result would be an understatement. The number plate is of very high quality and looks wonderful on the wall by our front door.
If I have any constructive comment to make it would be that it would be to keep customers updated on the progress of the order without the customer having to chase this up. This said, when I did chase up my order Chloe was extremely helpful in updating me and confirming when the item had left their premises. I would highly recommend the House Nameplate Company.
