BIGGEST RIP OFF COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. lie after lie, continually demanding more money and breaking promises. Im done with them and will be leaving negative reviews anywhere possible !!
You arent even associated with quickbooks ! I hope they sue you.

We have been using this software for the last 4 years, and until recently our experience was acceptable. However, for the past 3 days, the software has been completely non-functional, which has severely impacted our business operations. We are unable to generate quotations, invoices, proforma invoices, and other billing documents, causing delays, customer dissatisfaction, and operational losses.
Despite multiple follow-ups and contacts, the issue has still not been resolved, and there is no clear timeline provided by the support team. For a business-critical accounting and billing software, this level of downtime and poor support is unacceptable.

Long-term users expect reliability, accountability, and prompt resolution, especially during critical issues. Unfortunately, the current service quality does not meet those expectations.
We hope the company takes this feedback seriously and improves its technical stability and customer support responsiveness.

In my opinion, this company scammed us. About 18 months ago, my predecessor paid them a total of about $17k in four or five separate transactions. She made hostbooks send her an email saying that we wouldn't need to pay them any more money until the year 2035.

Since I recently joined my company and couldn't figure out what we had bought from hostbooks based on the documentation that my predecessor had saved, I emailed all the invoices that we had paid hostbooks and requested an explanation. When my email wasn't acknowledged, I called and reiterated my request for information to an agent. His response was to ask me why I wanted to know! Then he started to 'explain' one item very quickly by reciting information that I felt was superficial. I stopped him and said that I wanted a written response. He said that he couldn't do that. Then he later said that he would respond in writing, but we never got anything.

This same agent told me that we needed to pay hostbooks another $10k to cover us for something else for another 5 years. I told the agent about the email from hostbooks saying that we didn't need to pay any more money until 2035. He was becoming very belligerent, so I hung up.

I called back the next day and spoke with a different agent who told me that we had to pay to update our QuickBooks software. I told him about my call the previous day and the prior agent's request for $10k. This new agent said that the update he was proposing wouldn't cost that much. I also told this agent about the email we had from hostbooks saying that we wouldn't have to pay them more money until 2035, and the agent replied that the current issue was something different. I told him that we wouldn't pay even $1 more to hostbooks. Then he put something up on my screen that included the word "error." He said that hostbooks couldn't help if we didn't update the software. When I suggested that we get on a conference call with Intuit to see if a software update was needed, he replied that I could believe him or not. I said that I didn't believe him.

I spoke with a few other hostbooks agents along the way, and they kept trying to get me to call my predecessor (who I believe had been scammed) and have her call hostbooks directly. I refused saying that my company was their customer, not a former employee of the customer.

In a separate call, I tried to get hostbooks to help me create an Invoice Template. The agent that I spoke with said that I'd have to speak with their Template Department which had another phone number. The phone number that he gave me was for Intuit.

This operation is complete fraud. I am a QuickBooks Pro advisor and they lied to my client and try to take his money. They said that there was a 60-day money back guarantee when in fact when he went to call the number back it was disconnected. He will dispute it with his credit card company and he most certainly will win this. I have backed up his books for him and put them onto my computer so that they cannot pull anymore shenanigans. They are not hosting anything. They just lie. I have worked with companies that do host QuickBooks this is not one. They are only a support company and they don't give any support at all just a scam. You will see that all of the five-star reviews for this company are in India. The Americans that they sell this to are complaining

They sold me a Quickbooks package stating that it would be until 2041. What they neglected to say is that they lied, and it's only support that is until 2041 NOT THE QUICKBOOKS PRODUCT ITSELF! I have contacted the Attorney General here in my state.

I have been using this software for almost two years, and I hardly find any issues with it, though there are some downtimes, the HostBooks Support team resolved that quickly.
