Appalling and unhelpful
I went into hmv, Reading to do a exchange and I asked if I could do an exchange for another blu ray which I had bought on hmv on eBay and the manager refused it straight away and I showed my receipt on my mobile phone. I did it once about 3 or 4 months ago and the staff were very helpful and happy to do a exchange then but yesterday when I asked and showed my receipt on my phone, he said no to me, I'm not doing it. As Owen who used to be in the Reading store, is no longer there and a new manager who I don't know his name refused straight away and I asked why and his answer was because you bought from hmv on eBay and not hmv website. He was very rude and nasty to me and after a few minutes he told me to leave the store, as I stood my ground I asked politely what have I done wrong because he didn't answer me he got on his phone and called security. I was very shocked and asked why are you doing this to me. The manager claims I have been rude to the staff which is not true at all. I always keep myself to myself when shopping as like most people do. He didn't say I couldn't go back into hmv or ban me. Any manager who shouts at customers should either get a warning or fired from their job. I will go back into hmv Reading one day, it clearly wasn't a very nice experience being spoken to the way the manager did. Owen who used to work in hmv Reading was always a very nice man and always helpful. I certainly can't say much about this new manager

Made a purchase, paid for express delivery which should have arrived 3 days before Christmas, I only received it 2 days ago and communication was rubbish. Very very disappointed.
