I am deeply grateful to Bishnu Bhatta and Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure for an unforgettable opportunity to experience the Himalayas and Nepal’s culture. As an American from a small town, I never imagined I would enjoy such an authentic, well-organized journey.

From the moment Bishnu greeted me at my Kathmandu hotel, his warmth and professionalism set the tone for the entire trip. Despite a busy schedule, he responded to my last-minute request to join a trek and guided us tirelessly for 15 days — a commitment that reflected his character and dedication. He made me feel comfortable immediately, arranged a complimentary breakfast and took the time to get to know me.

The Chisapani–Nagarkot trek was exceptional. Accommodations and restaurants were top quality and offered genuine Nepali hospitality and cuisine. The package truly delivered excellent value: hotels with Himalayan mountain views, cultural dining experiences, and all logistics included. During the trek I never felt rushed; Bishnu thoughtfully photographed moments so I could fully enjoy the scenery, and he shared knowledgeable insights about Nepali culture, the mountain ranges, and their histories.

After the trek, Bishnu arranged additional transportation so I could visit key sites in Kathmandu, including the Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Dattatreya Temple, the Burning Ghat, and a memorable cable car ride — and he even organized a helicopter flight to the base of Mount Everest. Each experience was handled smoothly and respectfully.

Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure delivers professional, caring service and an authentic cultural and trekking experience. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering a Himalayan trek — book with them. As Gerard Way said, “One day your life will flash before your eyes. We’ve just returned from a three-week journey through Nepal, Bhutan, and India, and our experience with Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure—especially our guide, Bishnu—was outstanding from start to finish.

Even before we left Melbourne, Bishnu was available 24/7 to answer every question we had about planning the Nepal and Bhutan sections of our trip. I recently travelled to Nepal to celebrate my 50th birthday, and I could not have asked for a better guide and organiser than Bishnu from Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure. From the very beginning of my trip planning, Bishnu was there every step of the way, answering questions, organising logistics, and creating a perfect 5-day itinerary that combined trekking with sightseeing.

Our route took us through Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Dole, Machhermo, and Gokyo — each destination presenting its own unique charm with evolving landscapes. The pinnacle was an unforgettable sunrise hike up Gokyo Ri, blanketed in snow. We ended the trip in Kathmandu with a traditional dinner and cultural performance, which was such a beautiful way to wrap things up.

The price for the whole package was very fair, especially for the unreal level of care, personalisation and attention we received. If you're planning a trek in Nepal, I can’t recommend Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure and Bishnu enough. You’ll be in great hands.

We booked a 2 days trip Nagarkot & Chisapani organised by Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure led by experienced guides Bishnu and his partner Ganesh.
I must said this is the highlight of my Nepal trip so far. Very enjoyable and stress free throughout the 2 days hike.
Both our guides, Bishnu and Ganesh, are not only very knowledgeable and caring. They made sure our logistics are taken care of very meticulously so that we no need to worry. He will ask about our well-being and made sure we were keeping pace with him during each hike. Any questions will be answered promptly.
I remember 1st day when we met. I try to break ice with them in the car. We chat alot happily as though we have known each other for many years. They shared with us their experiences and valuable knowledge with us. The rest is history. Though is just a 2 days trip, I will bring these wonderful memories in my life.
My respect for them grew starting our journey. We built on trust especially Bishun explaining very detailed about the costs to us so that we are comfortable with it. No hidden cost n surprises . Everything is explained super clearly and written on it.
We not only enjoyed the trekking and some of the best views on the mountains.
One of the memories is that we enjoyed our breakfast, lunch and dinner together. We chat alot and over it and it is always laughs , laughs and still laughs during each makan sessions. This show how much we enjoyed our makan sessions together. I remembered clearly when the 1st time we have dinner together, they said they will only eat after guest eat 1st! I said come
on bros eat together! The rest is history! This show Nepalis are such humble and caring people.
One special highlight they went beyond their actions. They followed me all the way to the Airport police and helped me to explain to the officers over my unfortunate incident.

We recently completed the Gokyo Ri trek with Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Our guide, Bishnu, was at the heart of it all - professional, warm, and incredibly thoughtful. From the moment we arrived in Nepal, he took care of everything: airport pickups and drop-offs, domestic flights, hotel bookings, trek accommodations, and all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

Upon arrival in Lukla, Bishnu arranged a porter to help with our bags. Then every evening, without fail, Bishnu offered us an apple and pomegranate - a simple yet heartfelt gesture that reflected his deep hospitality. He remained flexible with the itinerary, adjusting to our needs and checking in regularly to ensure we were acclimatising well and feeling supported.

One of the things we appreciated most was Bishnu’s honesty and integrity. He was completely transparent about costs from the beginning - there were no hidden charges or unexpected add-ons. It was clear that his focus was on delivering a meaningful and comfortable experience, rather than on profit. His approach built trust immediately, and we always felt respected and valued as guests.

Throughout the trek, we learned so much - not only about Nepal and its breathtaking landscapes, but also about ourselves, Nepalese culture, and the importance of humility and character, much of which we saw reflected in Bishnu himself.

The total package was very reasonably priced compared to other companies, especially considering the level of care and personal attention we received.

I found Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure through a web search for tour guides in Nepal and contacted several local guides regarding a full 6 days private tour for two. They was quick to respond and seemed to have a better appreciation of what we were trying to achieve than the other companies, and the price was similar or better. They put together a full itinerary, our driver was extremely professional, the guides explained everything and take care of everything, they recommended where to eat, Highly recommended.

We recently completed our Everest Base Camp Trek which was once-in-a-lifetime experience, filled with unforgettable moments. The warmth and resilience of the mountain people, coupled with the breathtaking landscapes, helped us to discover a new adventure.

Himalayan Sanctuary turned out to be the best choice for a two week Annapurna Circuit trek! Bishnu, who was the organiser and also our guide for the trip, was super helpful in the run up to the trek, providing tailored itineraries, packing lists and being very responsive to questions. From the moment of arriving in Kathmandu, we didn’t have to worry about anything, he was there waiting to pick us up, and from there everything was seamless. The food and accommodation throughout was always to a great standard, and Bishnu was very attentive to always make sure our needs were met. We were allowed to hike at our own pace with no rush, and plans made around our interests / requests. We enjoyed the evenings joking and playing cards with Bishnu and our porters, and the atmosphere was always a fun, relaxed one.

3 of us (from the UK & US) enjoyed a terrific 2 week hike - the Annapurna Circuit - across the Himalayas organized by Himalayan Sanctuary. Flawless organization from start to finish. Bishnu, the manager and our main contact (was also our guide on the hike), was very responsive and flexible at all times. All the tea houses / accommodations booked were great. Chosen porters were lovely too. Great value too in terms of price and cost. Had a lot of laughs with the team as well. Memories for life. Overall, an excellent experience and would highly recommend for anyone doing a short or long hike in the broader region!

Manaslu circuit offers unspoilt trekking experience and ability to be close to amazing Mountains, great People living there and their culture. Compared to Annapurna Circuit is slightly less crowded and a bit more demanding, but not much.
The tour agency provided us a great service, especially in terms of on-the-fly flexibility with itinerary. Whenever we wanted to go slightly more or less and stay in smaller places, our Guide Karma and our Porter, Bupen were very knowledgeable about the places and options. That is something that we haven't observed very often and some agences were pushing their clients to stick to the plan. Bishnu was very supportive all the way from planning phase to our last day in Nepal and beyond, as we forgot some stuff from our hotel in Kathmandu ;)

In the last week of March,2024 I went to ABC with two other friends. Because of a very positive experience one of us had last year with Bishnu Bhatta of Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Pvt. Limited we decided to reach out to him.

Bishnu took it from there. He tailored the trip to ABC in a way that gave us the confidence that made our trip memorable. We were grateful that he was our guide. He was emotionally in tune with how we felt and knew what he needed to do to make the trip a success. He made adjustments as needed. The places he chose for us to stay overnight were very appropriate for our needs. The porters he hired, Bhupen and Bishnu, were a great duo who worked seamlessly with him and us.

Looking back, I believe I could not have done it without his meticulous planning and assistance.

Amazing trek and the highest level of support and organisation! ❤️

Me and my husband we visted Himalayas for 2nd time, first we did ACT solo (no guide). We decided to go along Manaslu Circuit Trek this time. It was amazing: weather, views, people in the mountains, our Guide, Karma ❤️❤️❤️, and our Porter, Bupen❤️❤️❤️. The region is slightly different than ACT, the life seems to be more difficult, the goods are transported using mules, but in the end this is one of lifetime adventure even for people who travel a lot to such remote parts of the world.
An owner of Agency - Bishnu and his team were very supportive from the very beginning, in planning phase, permits, transportation, and provided us great people to accompany us along the MCT trek. At the farewell in Dharepani, where we decided to continue along the Annapurna Circuit route, it was a bit difficult to say goodbye to Karma 💔 and Bupen 💔. Wondergul guys, and we wish them all the best! 🙏
During our last week, we decided to visit Chitwan, and Bishnu organised for us everything again while we were still trekking in the mountains. It was not a problem, for example, to organize another jeep safari to other part of the jungle, instead of an elephant safari, and he was happy to assist.
At the end of our visit of Nepal, Bishnu invited us for farewell dinner in Katmandu.
Lastly, we forgot our sleeping bags from the hotel in Kathmandu on the day of departure flight. The Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure agency assisted in sending them back to Europe.
We highly recommend these people, as they are honest, competent, and humble at the same time.

The best customer service I’ve ever received ! They were flexible when scheduling, quick to respond, and helpful advice about options that would best suit for our group. They kept in contact on WhatsApp and answered any questions I had, although few were needed because they took care of all the details! Would definitely recommend them.

I. Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure
"Quick response" is noteworthy. During business hours, I usually received a response within one hour.
Bishnu Bhatta (CEO) was concerned about my health and came to check on me every morning at breakfast while I was in a hotel in Kathmandu.
He bought me a SIM so I could contact him anytime, but as the size didn't fit, I couldn't use it. But I was happy with his consideration.
Since my flight departed at 11:15 p.m., he negotiated with the hotel to let me use the room free of charge until 9 p.m.

II. 8 days Trekking
My guide Pancha and the porter Hira were excellent.
Pancha walked a little ahead of me and looked back at me frequently, checking my pace and matching me. Hira walked right behind me and I felt like I was being guarded.
Pancha prepared a fruit plate after every dinner. I was glad to be able to eat fruit while trekking.
I was able to enjoy the view of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), and Ama Dablam (6856m) from the Everest View Hotel.
At the Everest View Hotel, I was tired so Pancha suggested a short route. And thanks to the short route, I made it back to Lukla safely.

III. Kathmandu
The following activities were held in Kathmandu. All of these were well prepared and everything went well.
Meeting at the airport. (I received a pretty flower necklace.)
Chandragiri Hills sightseeing.
Nepali dinner while watching Nepali dance.
Sightseeing to 4 World Heritage Sites.
Seeing off at the airport. (I received a Nepalese hat and scarf. These would be my good memory.)

I highly recommend Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure.
