Don’t miss an opportunity to let this business meet your needs

Great experience and great product. I called before placing my order and the gentleman spoke with me for over 30 min to make sure I was ordering exactly what I wanted. Customer service was off the chart good and the product is working great! Price was also lower than anywhere else. Unheard of to get this combination of quality. This is where you should get your bulbs from. I will undoubtedly be back again should the need arise.

Extremely impressed with the product…

Extremely impressed with the product which fit and works perfectly. The delivery to Canada was very fast but once through Canada customs it took Canada Post 21 days to deliver the product. Canada post tracking absolutely HORRIBLE and their delivery time is unacceptably SLOW. I would have been very happy to pay for an alternative shipping provider if available.

Thank you so much for excellent service and product. The Canada Post issue is certainly NOT your responsibility.

Helpful knowledgeable advice, good pricing

Helpful knowledgeable advice, great prices, and reasonable delivery.
HIDConcept helped me select my replacement bulbs for my 2009 328i - the Philips Xtreme Vision Gen 2. The Night Breaker Laser was a close second but I decided to go with a slightly whiter light in the Philips, which is still plenty white coming from the factory bulbs!

Best of both worlds

I compared a lot of bulbs and prices, especially knowing all the fakes out there. HID Concept had the best price for Genuine bulbs.
They shipped fast and work perfectly. I can't say enough about the products and services I have received.

Shipping was fast.
Since I am not an expert of products, I asked a few questions and they gave a good explanation.
Also, additional promotion saved my $$.
Definitely, I will come back for another purchase.

The exact part, delivered quickly, and excellent pricing. They even double checked make, year, and model vehicle to assure fit. Definitely will be a repeat customer!

Unethical business practices. Substandard products

I purchased a set of DAMA HID bulbs. First bulb went bad after a couple months, I received a replacement and the second bulb also went bad shortly after. I purchased these bulbs because they offered a "Full satisfaction guarantee" as well as a two year warranty.

During the time of purchase, I was also fooled by their deceptive claim that these bulbs were "DESIGNED in Japan". I should have known that when a company uses that type of verbiage, it usually means quite simply that it's MADE in China. There is no label on either the product or the package that actually indicates the country of origin. (I believe that's illegal).

Despite the fact that I'm was obviously not happy with the quality of the product, due to two bulbs going bad within a few months, my main complaint with HID concept is in regards to their shady practices and poor service. After the second bulb burned out, I decided that I no longer wish to keep returning bad bulbs to them as they burn out because it's an inconvenience and a waste of time and money to keep switching them out and paying $5 shipping each time to return the defective bulbs. (Spent $15 in total shipping costs for 3 returns) I informed them that I would like a full return because they offered a "Full Satisfaction Guarantee", which means that under the guidelines set by the Federal Trade Commission (Title 16 CFR 239.3) I am entitled to a full refund of the purchase price if I am not satisfied. After requesting a refund under their guarantee, they replied saying that they spoke to their lawyers and they would give me a refund but they are entitled to charge a restocking fee. I disputed the restocking fee with them because they cannot a restocking fee for something that they cannot restock. I was planning to send back one non working bulb that was blown, and a second working bulb that was used....(I would hope that they would not be restocking them and selling used bulbs to customers). They agreed to "waive" the restocking fee as a favor to me, but in a later email, they stated that I can only get a refund for 1 bulb only. I disputed that as well, because I was requesting a refund because I was not satisfied with BOTH bulbs and not just one.

During the course of wasting several hours of my time going back and forth with emails, I corresponded with 3 or 4 different reps to try and resolve the situation. Towards the end, they said that some of the reps that handled the case before them are no longer with the company and "it's not worth their time" to review all the emails, so they'll go ahead and refund my money. They also removed the "Full Satisfaction Guarantee" from the product description on the DAMA bulbs after I called them out on it. Meaning that they posted the Guarantee just to hype up their product with no intentions of ever honoring that guarantee.

It was quite disappointing that they felt that it was not worth their time to review the emails and accept full responsibility for their mistakes. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but I feel that I gave them several chances to reconcile the situation and own up to their mistakes, but instead, they chose not to and just took the easy way out.
