Vær oppmerksom på at de tar fullpris på alle bompasseringer selv om du leier el-bil, og at de i tillegg legger på 25% moms. Hadde leiebil i forbindelse med en skade, og så ingen kontrakt som sa noe... Mehr ansehen

Worst customer service ever

I booked a car one month in advance. Yet on the pickup day we had to wait for over 2 hours at Tromsø airport because our car wasn't ready. The staff was more busy chitchatting with each other and was not helpful at all. They kept saying that the car would soon be here.
We returned the car a day earlier because we wouldn't need it anymore. Yet Hertz had the audacity to charge us with airport parking fees - which they refused to remove from the invoice (even though the staff told us to return the car to the same parking P3 where we picked it up). They said that I had to prove that I returned the car earlier - which is ridiculous because they don't hand you out any form of receipt when you return the car. Some sleep head at the counter probably just booked the car in hours later. Even after several email correspondence with Hertz customer service they wouldn't remove the charges. Moreover, they have really hefty administration fees on top when they charge you parking fees. This is a real rip-off shop! Never again!

Forvent å bli forsøkt lurt av Hertz

Her må du forvente at Hertz forsøker å lure deg.
De tilbakeholdt hele depositumet etter en ferie i Malta pga. to små riper jeg ikke hadde forårsaket. Ripene var såpass små og vanskelig plassert at det var vanskelig å få øye på de, men heldigvis hadde jeg et bilde som viste den ene av dem da jeg plukket opp bilen. Håper det er nok til å få saken lagt ned.

I tillegg hadde de kun en på jobb når jeg skulle hente bilen og jeg mått vente en halvtime i kø til tross for at det kun var to forran meg.

Jeg har brukt Hertz en del tidligere da jeg har hatt inntrykk at de er til å stole på, men det stemmer ikke lenger. Disse er ute etter å lure deg. Siste gang jeg booker med Hertz.

Ikke bra at det dukker opp høye gebyrer i etterkant av leieforholdet - det gjør det for risikabelt å leie bil utgangspunktet. Jeg tør aldri bruke Hertz igjen.

Nos han robado y estafado, cobrandome 1 día entero extra de alquiler, con extras que acienden a 150€ por haber entregado el coche 10min más tarde de las 12 del mediodía, que era la hora que mencionaban en el contrato. SON UNOS LADRONES Y ESTAFADORES. ¿ASÍ TRATAN A LOS CLIENTES?¿ASÍ PRETENDEN QUE VOLVAMOS A ALQUILAR? HORRIBLE ATENCIÓN AL CLIENTE, YA QUE EL TRABAJADOR QUE NOS HIZO EL CONTRATO DIJO QUE SIEMPRE HABÍA MEDIA HORA DE CORTESÍA: MENTIRA, TENÍAMOS QUE HABERLO GRABADO. AHORA RECLAMAR DESDE ESPAÑA ES INVIABLE. JAMAS RECOMENDARÉ HERTZ en el aeropuerto de OSLO. Un auténtico robo a mano armada haciendo uso ILEGÍTIMO DE LOS DATOS que se guardan de nuestras TARJETAS VISAS, con semanas de diferencia a la entrega del vehículo. para DENUNCIAR ANTE CUALQUIER JUZGADO Y OFICINA DEL CONSUMIDOR. Los contratos se entregan en noruego, así que no sabes lo que lees. Encima el coche nos lo dieronen mal estado y nos la quisieron meter doblada. FATAL

Charge more and do not refund the difference

I got a car reservations months before my trip. At the Tromso airport I waited an hour to get on the line to pick my car and they did not have any cars left! Because I was a gold member they gave me a "free" upgrade of the car but charged me + 1000 NOK additionally. Then the invoice came out and it is more than 300 NOK from what I have been charged. For more than 2 weeks no refund for the remaining amount and they do not even bother answering my email.

Hertz Sandefjord

Bestilte leiebil i god tid, og hentet denne fredag ettermiddag for å flytte et møbel i løpet av helgen. At bilen har visuelle skader er ikke så nøye for meg, bare det tekniske er innafor. Lørdag morgen startet ikke bilen og etter kontakt med Hertz, ble Viking rekvirert.
Bilberger åpnet panseret på bilen og utbrøt at dette var det verste han noensinne hadde sett! Polene på batteriet var fullstendig dekket med ett eller annet, så han måtte vaske med vann og skrape rent for å få startkablene til å gi strøm. Ble rådet til å levere bilen tilbake og for all del ikke skru av motoren. Tok kontakt med Hertz igjen, og de hadde ingen annen bil som erstatning. Litt snodig at alt var utleid på hele østlandet, men det var i alle fall svaret jeg fikk. Pengene ble lovet tilbake, men det ser ut til å drøye..

My experience with Hertz was absolutely terrible. I have rented cars from many companies in different countries, and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had.

The customer service was extremely poor. The staff were unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to clearly explain the charges. What frustrated me the most was the extra money they added without proper explanation. As a customer coming from another country, I felt taken advantage of. It honestly felt like they were adding unnecessary fees simply because I was a foreigner.

The pricing was not transparent at all. The final amount I had to pay was much higher than what was originally presented. There were hidden charges and unexpected costs that were never clearly communicated in advance.

I strongly advise others, especially international travelers, to be very careful before booking here. Do not be fooled like I was. There are many better rental companies with fair prices and honest service. This was a very disappointing experience, and I will never rent from them again.

God service ved afhentning - MEN blev bundefanget og penge "stjålet"

Vi har lejet en mini bus i Oslo til vores vinterferie. Personalet var virkelig hjælpsomme, og da der var gået kludder i den oprindelig leje, var de kreative og venlige til at løse vores situation.

Vi fik vejledning af den søde kvinde ved skranken (som vi troede var korrekt), men efter vi er kommet hjem, har de hævet en masse uberettigede penge på vores konti.

Jeg vil ikke anbefale dem. Det føles som om de bundefanger os og vores kreditkort, og så udnytter de det blot bagefter til at hæve en masse uberettiget, da de ved det er meget svært at få pengene retur fra dem, når først de har hævet dem.

No Caution back!!!!!!

They not gave me my Caution of 5000NOK back!! Without any reason, no damage. Costumer Service send always just the same, not helpful, email back. I wait already 6 weeks, now I must contact an lawyer about. So bad, never have this experience with an car rental.

Dò una stella perchè meno non si può

Dò una stella perchè meno non si può; ho preso a noleggio una macchina per 5 giorni a natale, chiedendo una macchina a motore termico e già mi è stata data una macchina elettrica. Ilgiorno dopo ho mandato una mail per chiedere la sostituzione, ma non ho ottenuto alcuna risposta. Ho chiesto anche altre cose (pagamento pedaggi, pagamento parcheggi) ottendo risposte una volta su 5, se va bene. Dopo due settimane dal rientro mi è arrivato un addebito per un parcheggio pagato tramite il loro abbonamento easyPark, con una cifra molto più alta di quella prevista dal luogo dove avevo parcheggiato; tra l'altro l'addebito è arrivato senza spiegazioni o ricevute. Alla mia richiesta di spiegazioni, inizialmente sono stato indirizzato all'assistenza. Dopo aver scoperto che ho dovuto pagare delle tasse in più per il loro abbonamento, che se avessi pagato il parcheggio per i fatti miei non avrei pagato, ho chiesto ilrimborso. Da quel momento hanno smesso di rispondere alle mie richieste. Ho quindi proceduto con fare contestazione addebito alla cata di credito per ottenere ilrimborso completo.

Aggiornamento: dopo 2 settimane di mancate risposte, ho detto a Hertz che avrei mandato contestazione addebito alla carta di credito e avrei scritto una recensione su trustpilot, Gli ho quindi mandato il link della recensione. Stranamente, qualche minuto dopo la mia mail con il link, mi hanno risposto dicendomi che mi avrebbero dato rimborso della parte a me non dovuta.
Adesso una stella è corretta.

Da eg hente bilen fikk eg beskjed om at eg måtte betale et depositum på 3000,- som eg seinere ville få betalt tilbake, etter at leigebilen var tilbakelevert og eventuelle utgifter var betalt.
Eg eg fikk så en kvittering på utgifter som var trukket og forst det slik at da skulle alt være greit, men eg kan ikkje sjå og ha fått tilbake betalt det resterende beløpet.
Er det vanlig at det skal gå så langt tid og få refundert resterende, eller er det noke eg har gjordt feil? Er eg blitt trukket for noke eg ikkje har blitt informert om?

Svindel

Svindel. Skulle leie IKEA-bil til 499,- for 3 timer, hvor det er angitt et tillegg for kilometerpris INKLUDERT drivstoff. Blir deretter fakturert for ytterligere 500 kr for "gebyr utanket bil", da bilen var under halvfull både når jeg hentet og leverte den. Kontant avvist på kundeservice, og ikke besvart ved flere henvendelser. Det gjelder å holde seg langt unna IKEA sine leiebiler, og heller benytte seg av konkurrentene.

Very poor experience

We had a very disappointing experience with Hertz at Tromsø Airport.
After landing, we queued at the kiosk for around 45 minutes, despite only a few customers ahead of us. One staff member was extremely slow while another processed multiple customers in the same time.
We had booked a Toyota Yaris Cross, but after finally reaching the desk, we were told the car was suddenly “not available” and given a different vehicle with minimal explanation.
We were then instructed to walk to Zone P, which turned into a 10-minute walk on icy roads with suitcases, with unclear directions. The car park signage was confusing, and we had to ask other people for help.
When we finally located the car, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. It was obvious the vehicle had not been properly inspected or cleaned, which is completely unacceptable for a rental company.
At that point, returning to the airport desk meant another long walk, another queue, and more delay — so we tried calling and using online chat instead. No response, no support.

More like moderne "mafia", stay away!

It is unclear whether the issue is poor communication at Hertz Molde, inadequate customer service training, or a more fundamental lack of cognitive awareness. Either way, there appears to be no middle ground: you are either open and available to customers or closed. Customers who have booked in advance should reasonably expect staff to be present, attentive, and prepared.

While it is understandable that staff may have multiple tasks, this does not excuse the failure to be available when customers arrive at the scheduled time. A booking creates an obligation to be present and responsive.

Customers should not be asked to return only to be told that there are no routines for locating lost property, or that items may have been discarded. Any lost items should be properly logged and handed in to Avinor or the police, not treated casually or irresponsibly.

Warning lights illuminated, incorrect tyre pressure, and electric vehicles not sufficiently charged are all typical. especially when embarking on long journeys. No one expects to receive a petrol or diesel car with only 70% fuel, and the same standard must apply to electric vehicles. An inadequately charged EV is not fit for purpose and creates unnecessary trouble for the customer.

Overall, Hertz Molde demonstrates a lack of professionalism, poor routines, and little consideration for customers' time, safety, or expectations. Significant improvements are required in both customer service and operational discipline. Stay away!

Skjulte kostnader

Jeg skulle leie bil fra IKEA til 499,- for 3 timer. Jeg ble fakturert nærmere 1200kr etter å ha kjørt 18km, da jeg ikke fylte bensin etterpå.
Ringte kundeservice og ble møtt med "det var synd" og "du burde lest det i liten skrift". Sa at jeg følte meg dårlig behandlet til og at hun jeg snakket med var kald og frekk, da fikk en nedlatende "kjipt at du syns det da". Skal ALDRI benytte Hertz igjen.

Absolute disaster

Absolute disaster – completely unreliable, never Hertz again

We had booked a 5-seat car well in advance, completed online check-in, and even received a confirmation email from Hertz stating that the vehicle was ready for pickup. What happened at Tromsø Airport was a nightmare.

At the self-service kiosk, nothing worked due to system errors. After calling Hertz support, we were told to make a new booking and assured that the original payment would be refunded. We followed these instructions.

Then came the worst part:
Instead of the 5-seat vehicle we had booked, Hertz assigned us a Ford Transit van with only 3 seats.

We were five people, including two elderly passengers, a pregnant woman, and a minor. Handing over a 3-seat transporter in this situation is completely unacceptable and shows a total lack of responsibility. The vehicle was refused immediately and not driven a single meter.

To make matters worse, phone support told us to wait or sleep at the airport until the counter reopened in the morning. With a family. At night. In winter.
I have never experienced such disregard for customers from an international rental company.

End result:
Charged twice
No usable vehicle provided
Forced hotel stay and additional transport costs
No solution, no accountability, no reliability

Hertz failed on every level: confirmed reservation not honored, wrong vehicle provided, zero customer care.
If you need reliability – especially when traveling with family – avoid Hertz at all costs.

Never again.
